I think they will rather price it more sensibly than europe rather than giving gift. I think 50k. Btw only blue colour is coming. No twilight.
I hope Huawei sorts out the issues first, reading the forums here, there seem to many problems with device software; no hd or hdr streaming on netflix or amazon prime, issues or incompatibility with android auto, frequent screen lag stutters etc.. reviewers aren't pointing these issues, though they are significant to many of us. for now only thing going for this phone is the camera rest of it is a Dud. i hope they sort out these with software glitches before releasing the handset. Huawei has left the android auto issues unresolved with mate series too. check out the QnA thread here on XDA.
There seems to be too many problem with the phone.. like touch screen lag, battery drain issues, camera issues..
i am gonna wait for couple of weeks before i buy
Launched today for 64,999. That puts it in S9+ bracket and with Samsung's branding and marketing, I don't see this phone taking off in India.
I really wanted to upgrade from my S8+ and hoped it would be around 50K. I don't get their strategy here where they are selling a full HD display phone for 65K, while they have a Quad HD phone for 23K (Honor 8 Pro). Except processor (960 vs 970) and the triple camera, both phones share similar spec which makes Honor 8 Pro a super value for money purchase.
65k is too much for a Huawei Phone.! in Abu dhabi its available for 54k (2999 AED) + i get a huawei bluetooth speaker..
Huawei just lost it this time.!
have you guys read the review of the phone on digit?

That's great pricing. Too bad with Jio's arrival VoLTE is a must now and phones from outside India typically don't support Jio's VoLTE.

Amazon transportation service is way slow. Mine will take 3-4 days more. About charging i think they bundle 9v 2a in India and not the supercharge like other countries. But yours is way to slow even for 18w charger. Can you confirm the output on charger?

Hey guys,
I think most of us outside China/HK are importing the X2 from eBay sellers or Chinese e-commerce shops like Aliexpress, Gizok, Ainol-Novo etc. I'm trying to figure out which sellers you've had a good experience with buying, in terms of getting the product on time, in good conditions, and properly set up with the Google Play App store and configured with English (or your native language) as the default language.
I wanted to ask where you guys are buying from, as I prefer to buy from reputed retailers with clear policies on returns and support, but these things are pretty murky when you're importing from a China/HK-based seller.
I'm in Canada, so when I buy, I'll need to consider both the reliability of the seller plus customs fees, so I'd like to hear from you guys before I make my decision.

Did you have to pay customs fees in the US? I have considered getting it shipped to the US and having a friend bring it over to Canada.
Which carrier are you on? Are youbgetting 4G or HSDPA speeds? I've heard of US users having issues with SMS, but maybe those have been fixed with firmware updates.

I bought mine off eBay from zomlong-trading. I had it within a week. They shipped it DHL and it had the Play Store and Google Services preinstalled. Somehow, it arrived with an already unlocked bootloader. My buddy just bought a Mediapad M2 from Gizok. I'll post back when his arrives.

I'm interested in buying a X2 or M2. I would be very interested in your comparison between them. I have read the hype, but being metal cased, does the M2 suffer from worse connectivity in poor reception areas?

He ordered his when Gizok had them in stock and hasn't received it yet. They said it was out of stock but when he placed his order it said it was in stock. So he is giving them another week to get it in Stock and if not he said hes placing the order on ebay. The metal casing doesn't interfere with the signal at all. If you plan on using it as a phone get the X2. The M2 is way bigger and wont fit in your pocket at all. The M2 is good if you just want a tablet and don't care about having a phone. Personally I'd go for the X2.
Does the MediaPad M2 have a phone function as well?

The M2 is more a pure tablet. 8", bigger in size and also has less big battery ( 4500mah ). No phone calling capability ( only LTE etc ).
The X2 is more functional and fits more the tablet/phone profile. The M2 is pure and simple a tablet.

I read conflicting information regarding the M2 phone calling capability.
The Huawei M2 User Guide details how "selected models" make phone calls.
I would only be interested in phone-calling M2 "selected models".
I agree X2 is less ambiguous in that respect.
I am pretty sure the LTE version of the M2 has a phone function. The confusion comes from the fact that the M2 is also available in a WiFi only version.
I just made a mockup of the M2 in plywood to judge how it feels in the hand compared to the X2 and it is actually pretty good.
I am using a Sony SBH52 Bluetooth handset when I use the X2 as a phone and I can do the same with the M2. I think the extra screen real estate will make a real difference in useability.
The slighty smaller battery will not make a difference I think.

Are you sure about the size? http://www.phonearena.com/phones/size/Huawei-MediaPad-M2,Huawei-MediaPad-X2/phones/9531,9277
Its a massive difference between the two... Also the weight sees a big increase.
The m2 is really a tablet, not a phone/tablet. I also see no mention about phone capability on the LTE version. You can have phone capability is if you some 3th party solution, like Skype + fixed number. But that is a bit of a detour.
Battery... it will have a effect. Sure, its only 200mAh less, but its also powering now a 8" screen. So all in all, you get a bigger tablet, with less battery power. All that for just 1" more... To me, the m2 just serves a different market.
Edit: I just tried the X2 vs M2 in hand holding using a quick mock up ( using the phonearea comparison ) and while i have big hands, the extra size on the m2 makes it impossible to hold it in one hand ( for me ).
Like Benjiro said, here is the difference in size between the two. I'd get the X2 unless you're looking for just a tablet for around the house.
There are several videos on YouTube that show the M2 with a Dialer/Phone App on the homescreen. Also the LTE version has two SIM slots and I have never seen a tablet with two SIM slots just for data.
The point I am making is that I use the X2 more as a tablet than a phone and then the M2 makes more sense.
I have used an iPad Mini in the past as my main tablet and the M2 actually has a larger screen and is smaller in width so is darke to hold in your hand.
With the X2 I still tend to get my iPad Air 2 for certain tasks and I think the M2 can be my one and only device.
This seller is selling the 32GB Gem-703L Gold version for $409.99 with free shipping.

Why did you have to point that out? I guess the 16GB model will be going on eBay.
i all,we just launch Huawei watch 1 ,watch 2,Huawei fit charger on amazon,we need review in USA and UK,the charger will be free.
If you are interest, please post me or contact my email: [email protected] thank you.
Im interested. I send you a mail
interested, but i live in Austia. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Hi,
I've replied but you've not sent me any details.
I got my UK Huawei watch 2 this week.
This Watch 2 charger is live now on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0716BDLHF
Price is decent! I'll post a review once I receive the charger. Oh, and Eunice promptly sent me the equal amount for what I paid for the charger.
Update: Just received the charger from Amazon.
I was provided this charger to evaluate and review.
Very well made and seems to work well. I do prefer the color black as it more compliments the Huawei Watch 2. The magnetic attachment to the watch seems as strong or stronger than the original white Huawei charger. The cable is just at 36 inches in length and the stress relief at the charger seems strong.
From Brasil
I got my charger in the mail and man I have to say I feel like it is OEM quality. It is like an exact replication of the factory charger and could not be more happy. Really glad they chose black as it matches most my furniture including the watch. Eunice and team did an amazing job. I have a couple of pictures. Been using it the last 3 days and works perfect does not come with charging block so have a backup if this is a secondary charger for the office.
Link to purchase your own.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0716BDLHF
still no supplier for the UK??
no shipping to France, so bad.......
And Germany
I received mine as well and Eunice was very quick to pay me for the charger. Thank you Eunice!
So far it feels as good as the one provided by Huawei and like others mentioned the black color seem to be better with the color of the watch. I will use for a few more days before providing feedback on amazon.
I have also recently received this item, which if you are from the UK, you can buy it here :
Huawei Watch 2 charger,Portable Replacement Cradle Charger for Huawei Smart Watch 2(Black) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0716BDLHF/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_bkdszb97TYC6D
As I said, I'm from the UK and received the item very quickly. This is a superbly made product. When compared to the original in terms of build it is very well made. The added bonus is the fact that it is black which complements the watch and as many say looks much better than the white version. There is no difference in terms of charging times, so it really is a no brainer if you need a spare charger (and we all do these days), to go for this product.
If anyone has any questions, let me know.

Thanks for the link. Purchased from amazon last week and very happy with the quality and price. Vital to have a spare charger especially as I tend to charge my watch at least once a day. And the black charger looks a lot better than the white. Definitely recommend

Got an Honor View 10 from John Lewis yesterday and was lucky I pulled the trigger yesterday because the price went up from £339 to £449 overnight. I haven't opened it but just wondering whether not having OIS is going to be a permanent thing and also is Bluetooth going to be updated to 5.0 if it isn't a hardware issue?
anyway Honor have answered me, Bluetooth is permanently on 4.2 as its a hardware issue. The OIS stuff they have forwarded to their R&D department.
same here, got it for 339£, have it unopened while I contemplate what to do next. johnlewis has an amazing 35 days return policy.
no eis update is a sure return for me
Who cares about eis... I make awesome videos just the same.
And they come out just fine.
I'm loving mine
Even put my s8+ in the desk drawer
It's like talking to parakeets
Squak Squak.. No eis Squak whaaa
Sooner or later it will be fixed
Go on spend 1000 sterling pounds dollars.
I'm laughing and making awesome videos

Ois so far has posed no problems for me, just have to remember that decent lighting is required for quick response of the camera, other then that the dual shooter is fantastic imo.
Can I ask the difference between Bluetooth 4.2 and 5.

bluetooth 5 allows you to connect 2 devices simultaneously e.g you can connect 2 bluetooth speakers and stream music to both of them. In 4.2 its one or the other, it will show there is 2 bluetooth headphones/speakers but you have to chose 1.

congrats on the deal, I was keeping an eye on amazon at £369.99 until it run out of stock.
Following day CPW had it on the website at £339.99 for 2 days, I was literally ordering it when the price went up to £449.99 I think it was.
Johnlewis luckily had it in stock at £339.99 and I pulled the trigger. I knew JL was going to amend the price and bam it did the following day, following CPW 's foodsteps eheheh.

As the title say I'm probably buying the non pro version due to the huge price difference (140€), what do you guys think? Ah I'm coming from a OnePlus 6, yesterday unfortunately I've discovered that the type c is kind loose and now the cable slips away if I slightly move the device...
Thanks in advance for the help!

Probably an inexpensive fix. Won't you need to get it fixed if you plan on selling the phone at some stage?
I'd get it repaired and wait for the 7t.
Might find the 7pro gets heavily discounted soon too.
I've got the 7pro and it is fantastic! The 90hz screen is unlike anything I've ever used on a smartphone. Not sure the 7/7t will have a 90hz display.

NO!
Oneplus 7 is worth buying in China, because you spend 200€ less money (about 400€ for a new 8/256GB) and you keep Oneplus official warranty for 1 year.
Ok you lose just 1 year, but the price is the same as a Mi 9T Pro
Or if you are lucky enough (just as me), you could find in Amazon Warehouse Deals, an OP7 used in perfect condition, paying the same as a new one in China market, but with a perfect phone and Amazon warranty (and you can give it back if it is not good enough for you).
I found a French OP7: same as the others OP, but in France it is mandatory to include earphones into the package (usb-c earphones worth 20€ in Oneplus shopping page)
I ordered the OP7 with 256Gb/8GB Ram for 390€ at Gearbest during flashsale. Pretty good deal in my opinion ? I hope the delivery doesn't take too long...

I ordered my OnePlus 7 8/256 from Aliexpress for $440 so no, Amazon's current price of 600 euros is not a good deal.
For that kind of money you would get the 7 Pro on Aliexpress.
No, this device not worth such money!
I have it for 3 month already and no single custom rom, I would wait little bit for release of 7t pro and buy the 7 pro version.
Have you tried maybe the usb plugs from ali like quick connect..

I personally advise to purchase the OP7. It's my best best phone so far (dual speakers, same ufs3, same main camera...).
But... I've paid 381€ for the 8/256 chinese version in a much nicer red colour. There's no important difference between global and chinese versions (charger plug, instructions language...). You've even got 1 year official warranty!
Joan Tur (OP7)
Do you guys recommend buying the OnePlus 7 now? I can get a pre-owned 6GB with 10 months warranty with insurance remaining. Around 75% of that price I can get a 6T with a few months warranty remaining. Also I can't afford a 7T. Which phone do you guys recommend?
Tbh I wouldnt get either phone
Theres a lot more phones coming out this year with better specs

I very much don't recommend you to buy this phone at that price, you have sooooo many other option, Umdigi and other Chinese less known brands often are a problem when in comes to Customer services. Same when you need to flash ROMs on it or have a problem with it, no devs are buying this.
Plus if you have trust issues with Chinese products, this one won't fit your expectations.
Please don't buy that. Just for the price point, that would be a loss for you.
Okay what do you suggest with about the same size screen and the same horsepower that chipset is slightly faster than a 730 g I looked also it needs to have bands for for Sprint so if you know of anything with a screen size that size and slightly more horsepower than a 7:30 g and 6 GB of RAM in that price range let me know thank you

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite seems to fit your expectations. Idk the price where you live, but for me it's close to 250$ (270€). It might be because of a sale, but if you want those specs, wait a bit longer till you have more budget or till the price is down to 250$.
Have a good day
The Umidigi S5 pro is a good phone. I have used it for over 8 months and I love it. Very fast and have had no hiccups. If you are overly concerned about it being a Chinese product (Which most of the phones are manufactured in Asian countries) then throw a custom rom on it. One that I know works for it is Havoc OS which is perfect because it is classified as a gaming phone.
