Led Notification work sometimes, but mostly don't .

is there any app in the market that could use the top LED ( the one that lights up when charging) to notify us of miss calls and messages?
not sure about the led, but trackball alert lets you customise the colour of the track ball for different notifications e.g. missed call etc...
I'd like a top led too, but I don't thinks it's possible on the N1.

Is there any option to disable LED for incoming calls. I have disabled it in the Notification Light Settings.. I have also tried to override the default setting by installing Light Flow... If I disable the Notification Light, then Light Flow wont work at all..For Notifications it works well. But for incoming calls it is always a white LED that comes on.. I have a rooted device. Can Anyone Help.

I noticed when I make calls that while I'm ringing someone's number before the call starts, that there's a led blinking right above the battery percentage spot on the screen. Is there anyway to use that led in normal notifications instead of the other apps that use the ring around the camera?
That light is not a notification led, it's the proximity sensor
Has anybody's notification LED stopped worlking..??
