is it only me or notification LED doesn't always work

Hi all,
Just been looking around and found sth about change LED Notification.
"Enable LED Notification Setting in Sound and Notifications
If you want your LED to flash when you have a new message, missed call or voicemail.. well you can't as it is greyed out. I found a cab which does so at Leo section. However, it does not change the Colour of LED Notification, Back in i had my Dopod D810 flast a rom which can make my LED Notification flashing in Red, this nowadays i found none could do the same trick....
does anybody have an idea how to make LED Notification turn in Red Colour as Missed Message, Missed Call, and other Notifications

Hallo. Have anyone problem with LED notification? When I charge my Mate, all work fine, but when is not connect to charger, I recive notification, but my LED won't blink.

Led Notification work sometimes, but mostly don't .
How about you guys?
I noticed when I make calls that while I'm ringing someone's number before the call starts, that there's a led blinking right above the battery percentage spot on the screen. Is there anyway to use that led in normal notifications instead of the other apps that use the ring around the camera?
That light is not a notification led, it's the proximity sensor
Has anybody's notification LED stopped worlking..??
