I was surprised to see the update available. It took a long time to long time to download, transfer, and install, so I would definitely recommend that your watch be in its charging station for the process.
At the end of the update here are the version numbers:
Tizen 2.3.2.7
Software Version: R730TUVU3DRC1
I haven't fully explored everything, but there's a lot I like:
Quick Access (pull down) has a lot more capabilities (including accessing Settings, Brightness, Do not DIsturb, Screen Always on). Unfortunately they seemed to have removed the music player. (Guess I'll have to add that widget back to my list).
Widget improvement: Multi-contact calling looks better, there are a lot of new Health Widgets including a multi-activity one in which 4 possible activities are presented on one screen for a easy selection and start-up, recent apps widget is really handy.
New apps: I tried the Samsung PPT controller, but it didn't work. (I'm on a Mac, so that might be why).
My big big concern at this point is battery life. It seems terrible. That maybe due to playing with lots of apps and then not doing a clear all, but if it keeps up, I may have to do a soft reset and see how things are. Right now, I'm guess the battery drain rate is 2 or 3 times what I usually have.

The Samsung Health too was update. Now the aplication alone of Samsung Health for iPhone support the Gear S2, and this is incrible!
I believe this Samsung abandoned the Gear S2, but I thinked wrong.
Can anyone speak if the run4gear work in Android Phones with Gear S2 in Tizen 2.3.2.7?
Mine says no new update available :/
I did the update this morning and it was successful. I see the new shortcuts widgets and updated health and weather apps. But I don't see the Powerpoint App anywhere. Is that something you have to download?
So swipe down now doesn't go to the previous screen. Am I right in thinking to get back to watchface you now need to use a button?

Yes , I think the update removed the swipe from top to go back feature. Need to use the side button to go back over you are inside of an app.
Anyone have the previous firmware for SM-R735T? I don't need anything the new update offers, just want the "back" gesture returned.
Habit dictates a swipe and I keep getting back the settings...... Will have to relearn.
Anyone else found this a nuisance?
Valiante try Sammobile....
Wouldn't it try to auto update if you re installed the previous firmware version, or could you turn it off at the Gear app 'phone settings?
Has anyone tried to flash this to a vzw watch or is that not possible and we have to wait and hope vzw puts out an update?
Verizon has updated there page for the new update but still have not received the update ota here's a link to page https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/samsung-gear-s2-classic-update/

Scratch that I just received the update for the Verizon gear s2
i'v also got the new update here in Chile...
awesome update guys.. new pulldown toogles, and a lot more... new icon and new apk's
now we have samsung app store in the gear...
good job samsung gear department..
I was really excited to get the update. After the previous update, watch does this really annoying thing where it lights up the room when its done charging at night. Some times it will stop charging, drain a little, start charging again, and then light up the room a second time.
Well that hasn't been fixed. Now my watch battery is draining incredibly fast. I had to turn off always on watch faces and it's still draining at least twice as fast as it used to. Its been off the charger for an hour and it's already down to 85%.
I really miss the swipe down to go back. I don't need quick settings on every app. I hardly ever used it as it was. Speaking of which, most of the quick settings don't even do anything for some reason.
Really disappointed.
For me with the new update, I can't anymore answer to a whatsapp message direcly on the watch ! I can only use a button to open whatsapp on my phone !
Do you have the same thing ?

I got a second one a Verizon model and bassiy have to have all extra features off. And weird stuff is happening on it
I spent 10 hours yesterday dropped to about 75% I found download mode and was gonna play around. But that was the first reboot. And upon reboot batt was at 15% I'm like what the heck so I through it on charge am gonna swap it back out with the orig AT&T model I got first.
I haven't found the setting to manually set step target with the new update. My alarms stopped working so I had to do a factory reset to get them to work. Now I can't change my step target on the watch. This is how I used to do it:
1. Open Samsung Health
2. Go to very right/bottom and select Settings
3. Select "Adjust Step Target." This selection no longer exists.
I looked in just about every possible setting in Samsung Health and the device settings. I've tapped and long pressed on every possible data point on every possible screen for a hidden menu. It's nowhere.
I reached out to Sammobile 2 times.
- The first time I received instructions for doing this on the Gear Fit 2 Pro. #fml
- The second time I was told to factory reset everything, which I had already done. #fml
It's annoying that manually setting the step target on the Samsung Health app doesn't sync with the watch. But that's another topic.

Oh wow... I have the T-Mobile version, I don't have a plan for it so I was surprised to get an update but yeah I'm down to 47% right now and I should be in the 70/80 by this time. I closed all the apps and that seemed to help a bit but when you have a few apps open it seemed like it was draining quick...
I'm gonna do a reboot once I get home hopefully that'll help. If it doesn't do the trick that's something they're gonna have to fix.

How do you still have warranty? Where did you buy it from?

Its arrived at last , and before April too ..
Can confirm, this is Nougat (7.0) with the security patch of 1st February.
I'll try to find some big differences on the settings..
Oh, and before I forget. Welcome everyone, I just got this phone yesterday. Switching from a Zenfone 2, I hope I'll get a good battery life like almost everyone, and try to participate as most as possible.

EDIT 2 : I received a mail and it didn't crash anymore. Weird
I'm not sure I can recommend anyone upgrading to this yet....my phone has become very laggy and stuttering in different apps....it got better after I cleared the cache and a soft reset, but I guess it will be a few bug-fixes in the near future. I know that maybe a factory reset will be the solution, but I haven't got the time at the moment...
Which ROM variant were people on to get this ota update? I'm on UK three and there is no sign of it. Could be that three have to mess with the rom first, or a staggered roll out.
Build: P2a42_S056_161130_UK
Edit, ok attached screen shows s062. Rest of world.
Is there an easy safe way to swap from three to generic ROW ROM? Don't want to root or lose warranty.

https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70965471&postcount=8 don't know if this void warranty, its factory image firmware but they will see that you phone was on three network and now have ROW firmware, ask at you mobile network provider
Will Row have different modem etc. So potentially different performance or will it be identical minus 3 bloatware. I'm always reluctant to install ROMs not available direct from manufacturer from online because of risk of malware... Is this link a trusted source?
the Update is great, after factory reset...
All looking good here and battery only dropped 4% so far with 1 hour SOT
my phone is the 3 UK version . I flashed over to S048 then upgraded to S062 . Installed TWRP and tried a few custom ROMS but went back to stock ROM to see if i could get Nougat update and I did . Havent looked to see if minor bugs are fixed yet but youtube sync seems to be fine .
The noise cancellation system is not so aggressive in loud environment
Still can't use LED notification from third party application in Nougat...
i expected Launcher, Camera app , themes support UPGRADES
they just upgraded from 6.0.1 to 7.0 , by leaving the apps as it is , its a kind of disappointment , they might have at least included a BETTER launcher,
Hope they upgrade their APPS also to next level, mainly that CAMERA
Many apps are force closing. Any ideas to fix these issues? Thanks!
There is a second launcher hidden called VIBEUI . long press on screen and you get to select wallpaper , widgets , preference or settings from the menu at bottom of screen . press preference and that takes you to homescreen settings . press default launcher and you can choose between VIBEUI or android ( stock launcher ) . Although vibeui seems very limited

the battery drain is faster than marshmallow in 6h i loose 14% usually i loose 6-7% ...
Has anyone noticed the 'nightmode' now totally sucks? In 6.0.1 it doesn't distort the colour just significantly dims screen. In 7.0 it doesn't dim at all, just changes to a sepia tone!! Why did they change that function! YouTube audio sync appears fixed and the os feels smooth and snappy.
Few annoying quirks like once quick draw is open some items don't switch on/off with single press.
DPI change option are available in Developer options...??
Yeah, I noticed. I downloaded the "Night mode for Lenovo" app from the play store, but it's kind of lame to have to rely on an app for functionality that was baked in 6.0.1.

Yeah feel annoyed as other than this functionality, everything else is either better or simply different. Oh well... EDIT found a great work around. It remembers the brightness level in two states, with auto and without auto. I will just set the brightness to lowest with auto off and then disabling auto, will give me my 'night' mode.
Hi!
So I bought the Gear Vr 2 (the 2016 edition) and after about 30 min use streaming videos over WiFi I start to get warnings about the phone overheating.
From the reasearch I could pull, it seems to be a very rare issue on S7s, with people reporting pulling up to 2 hour gaming sessions with no such warnings.
I've tried closing all apps in background (from going to recents and closing all), also restarting the phone and trying right after. And while it I did get a few more minutes, I still got the warning. If I ignore it and keeep using it, the phone gets super laggy. Also tried going into airplane mode (with only wifi running) but still the same.
Any ideas? Never noticed the phone heating up much on any other event.
BTW, I'm on stock nougat.

if you own a Samsung Galaxy smartphone and are experiencing excessive battery drain, overheating and performance problems, VR might be the cause of all your problems too. Oculus recently sent an app update that has started creating these issues. The problems affect Gear VR-ready Galaxy phones, but the fix is pretty simple.
Okay so it seems that some people on here have come to the conclusion that the battery drain issue that some are experiencing is from an Oculus update this morning (Gear VR). I tried uninstalling the app completely to see if that helps at all – Reddit user said
You can fix these issues by simply disabling or deleting the Gear VR Service until Oculus sends an update fixing the problems.
Go to Settings > Applications > Application Manager.
Locate Gear VR Service.
Uninstall or disable.
Support on community discussion thread advises users to “uninstall Oculus Home first, and then Oculus Rooms (in that order) and then re-dock” the Galaxy device. “After you do that, it should download the latest working update,” hopefully fixing the issue.
Before uninstalling or disabling, however, simply open the app and see if it fixes the issue. Some users have reported that an Oculus update pushed itself through when the app was opened. The update seems to fix the problem. If it doesn’t, try the above fixes to see if you get rid of these problems.

Check when an article was updated. It may still show an older date, the date of the initial release, but if you click on it, you may see that it was updated, and when. Or if it was not.
So, even older articles may be helpful.
Thanks for your replies!

All,
First time poster, frequent visitor of XDA Forums. I've come across an odd issue that I don't know how to solve and I'm hoping some of you smarter than me folks can get me squared away.
I have a Galaxy S8+ from AT&T running Android 7.0 and Samsung Experience 8.1.
Problem:
I've recently noticed a delay or completely non-updating interface on my phone. It updates on occasion, but I can't determine what triggers an update. For example, I will pick up my phone from the desk and when I press the power button it shows the accurate time. When I unlock the device, the sense flip clock I use on the main home screen shows an earlier time (could be 30 minutes... could be a few hours). I don't believe it's just the Sense app because I noticed this issue where I checked a facebook messenger app that came and and when I closed the app, it still showed I had 1 notification. I went back in thinking I had another new message, but I didn't. So it was still hanging on to the notification. It happened a couple times with a text message as well. Most importantly, my calendar doesn't alert me prior to an appointment either, even though it's showing in my calendar and an alert is active. If I save an event, and exit, I can normally see the event appear on the on widget immediately as well... but that hasn't been happening. I have to press the widget to open it and confirm it is there (which it always is). Eventually it refreshes and shows up. But that delay is likely the reason why I'm not getting my alerts.
All of this did seem to happen after a recent update Samsung/AT&T pushed out but I don't know for sure. I tried clearing the cache from the boot menu but it doesn't seem there is wide success with that.
And perhaps I'm just not a good enough user, but everything isn't all backed up in the cloud so doing the factory reset to me is always a fairly large task as I have many things to manually transfer out and then back in. Not sure if there are great tools that help with this on a stock phone.
Samsung smart switch works wonders, the only thing that doesn't restore is passwords, you have to have and external SD card for it to work, or plug it in to a computer

High level overview of issues...
I have the Ring Doorbell app. I get notifications after "live". Could be 5 minutes, could be 1 hour... or possibly not at all. I have the app setup on my wife's iPhone and she gets them immediately. If I restart the phone, I will get notified right away (it's like it runs the app again and then I get the notification). Keep in mind, this is AFTER i disabled the battery optimization feature for the Ring app.
I also notice it occasionally with texting. I won't have any text notification in the notification panel, nor will my messaging icon have a little red circle indicating a message is there. But if I open the app, a specification conversation will have a red circle indicating a new text is unread.
All of this is leading me to believe the Samsung UI itself is not updating and therefore notifications that actually have arrived (from whatever app), are not displaying because of the UI and not because of their own delay.
Because of this concern I have turned off battery optimization for "System UI", "Themes", and "TouchWiz Home". I have not seen any change however.
[Solved]
I was able to determine by various other threads around the web (thought for sure I'd find it here, but I didn't) that the culprit might be the Google app. Supposedly it was fixed in some prior release, but it's not on my Galaxy S8+ w/ AT&T.
Once I disabled the Google app all the odd issues with notifications and clock interfaces and app icons not updating went away. The downside to disabling it is that I lose the Google Assistant functionality which stinks but otherwise there is no impact to using the phone. I re-enabled it at a later date and it worked fine for a few days and then started acting up again. Once I disabled it, the problems all disappeared. Clearly Google app is to blame.
Since we've been talking about Pie in at least four different threads, I thought I'd create a single one to address, list and possibly fix all the issues that are being experienced with the gradual release of Android 9 on Nokia 7 Plus. Mods: I'm assuming this is helpful, but if you think this thread is redundant feel free to delete it.
IMPORTANT: Before you do anything or think something is broken, make sure you restart the phone twice once you've installed the update. If issues are still there, you might go for a hard reset which is always helpful for creating a clean system environment.
In any case, you're welcome to add to this list and help others find solutions. This is what I found so far:
Battery draining
Most users noticed a decrease in SOT, for some this is even 2-3 hours less than on Oreo. While it might be peculiar to Pie itself, it is worth noticing that the new Adaptive Battery feature takes some time to adjust according to how you use your phone and learn what apps to handle and how. You should also check that no app permissions have changed since the update, or that no unwanted processes are misbehaving because of it (see below).
@trveller72 points out a neat trick: deactivating the automatic Battery Saver (Settings > Battery > Battery Saver > UNCHECK "Turn on automatically") seems to extend battery life a lot.
Heating issues
Regardless of the SOT, these should not be there. I experienced the thing myself and in deep October no phone should burn into one's pocket, whether idle or when doing some light browsing. If you're having heating issues, this is most likely related to processes misbehaving and abusing your CPU when they shouldn't (either because of an application bug, or because of something gone wrong after the update). In this case you should launch the ADB command
Code:
adb shell top
which returns the CPU usage of your phone (make sure, of course, the phone is connected to your computer and has USB debugging enabled). This might give you an idea of anything strange going on and allow you to act accordingly. Or you could go for a hard reset like I did, which is a nice overkill solution and grants that you carry over no unwanted issues from Oreo - and it also recovered some SOT for me.
No adaptive brightness fade effect
I experienced this myself: the screen goes from 0 to 100 brightness in a millisecond and you're blinded forever, never to see your loved ones' faces again. This might possibly be an issue with the personal settings brought over from Oreo. In my case, I solved it to a degree by playing with the bar a bit, and it was solved completely with a hard reset. I think the fade effect is a bit faster in Pie anyway, so there is a degree of difference you should not worry about.
App notifications not disappearing
Notifications for some apps tend not to disappear when you swipe over them. For instance, this is true with the "HDR processing" progress bar of the PixelCamera mod (or better yet, in some versions of it). No fix for now, you just have to force quit the app and hope it is made compatible soon.
UI and Animation glitches
As with all first releases, this one is not perfect yet. I've personally encountered some animation glitches with the reception of nested notifications (especially in the lock screen), non-standard DPI settings, app-switch animations, volume control when writing on your keyboard, and minor stuff of the sort. While most of these are system-related and will have to be fixed in next releases, for in-app glitches make sure they are correctly updated and compatible with Pie; you could also try deleting cache/data, uninstalling and reinstalling them.
In particular, some report an issue where the bottom part of the touchscreen stops working after prolonged inactivity, regardless of the navbar settings. @k3dar7 suggests using XDA Navigation Gestures (no root).
Digital Wellbeing
Yes, this is not compatible with Nokia 7 Plus yet, despite it being in DP4 (iirc), the feature is still unavailable although installed on the phone and already collecting data, and can be enabled by subscribing to the beta program (thank you @divvykev). Downloading it as an app from Play Store won't be possible, but @Redcap56 kindly points out that a working version is available for download at APKMirror.
"Non-issues"
(i.e. things you're probably complaining about but are actually feature-dependant)
- The new gesture-based navigation is not available. It's there, but you have to turn it on under Settings > System > Gestures > Swipe up on Home button
- Mobile data is always active even when on a Wi-Fi. Yes, unlike before it is, but you can turn this feature off in Developer Settings.
- There is a maximum number of possible notification icons before the dreaded "etc. dot" appears. Nothing that can be done, unfortunately. This was decided by Google regardless of not all phones having a notch.
- File Manager is gone. And FilesGo is now there, like the child you never wanted. And most likely you never wanted it because it doesn't allow you to browse folders. The old file manager can still be accessed through the Download app or in System > Storage > Files. If you can't see the internal memory, make sure the option is ticked in the three-dot dropdown menu.
Digital Wellbeing does work!
Installing from apkmirror worked for me: apk/google-inc/digital-wellbeing (I am still not allowed to post url)

Thanks for the heads-up, it works indeed.
By the way, before getting the APKMirror version I had just found out that Digital Wellbeing is actually installed on the phone, just inactive.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vYzZE5zB3LNLAckAUlRMkWoXPMjkD42M/view?usp=sharing
When I updated it with the APKMirror one it could show me statistics from all the past day, which means two things: one, it's already collecting data and it's creepy. Two, it's in a working state as it was in DP, so shall we expect that it becomes activated with the next OTA? (or when marketing-wise it's no longer important to make it Pixel-exclusive?)
If I search on internet, Digital Wellbeing is only available on beta version for Pixel phones on Android Pie only.
I think, when the beta is finished, we have all access to this functionality
Wellbeing is available. I found it be looking for the app in the store but found that it was installed. Signed up for the beta and hey presto....there it is. Can't see it being of any use to man or beast but hey ho.
Am on Pie stable btw.

Thank you.
I checked yesterday and was saying that you need a Pixel phone to install it. Today I just had to join the beta program and voilla!

Thank you, I don't find it useful either but this is good information indeed! Post updated.
I don't see any difference between latest beta and this so called stable one, all the issues persists.
Phone heating is really pain in the a$$, especially while charging (most of the time, not always though). I have seen "Temp High, Stop Charging" notification 3 times in a row now.
I have some issues with displaying apps since Pie. For example, when I'm playing music with Youtube Music and Maps has a picture-in-picture overlay the YouTube music app will flicker heavily and the album art won't be visible anymore.
Same for the normal YouTube app and SwiftKey.
Anyone else experiences this?

In Snapchat messages, the screen can flicker so much it's unusable. It's usually cause by putting the cursor before an already typed word.

High temperature while charging is very, very bad. If you can't solve this, I'd suggest you go back to Oreo before the battery is ruined.
In any case: did you update directly from DP? Did you check for strange processes via ADB? If you haven't done it, a hard reset can be very helpful as well.

Not with the same apps, but I experience this as well. Only advice I can give is to try what you can for single apps (i.e. clear cache/data, uninstall, reinstall) but you probably did that already. If it isn't solved this way, only the next OTA (and/or the next app update) will solve it.
But yeah, this is definitely a thing. I have heavy flicker in some setup wizards for Google apps (most notably Lens) and the volume control will flicker at all times if shown while typing on the keyboard.

Yes, updated directly from DP. I have done factory reset, Hard reset is necessary?

Actually that should suffice AFAIK. If I were you, I'd try downgrading to a stable Oreo and updating from there. I'm really not sure about it, but probably some bad code is brought over from the beta? But that temperature is definitely not normal, especially if you already did a factory reset.

Maybe some app is behaving inapppropriately. I have done Hard Reset and will see if the problem still persists, else I will degrade.

Not sure if you did that already, but the adb command I wrote in the first post can be useful to check that. Good luck anyway!
The stable pie update is a full rom, not an incremental update, so it doesn't matter from which version you are upgrading, after a reset, no trace of the old operating system remains
I might be wrong but I think the issue with the screen on time not lasting as long as it did in oreo in one of the updates they decreased the speed the battery charges or the curve it charges at, I can't remember where it was mentioned but there were issues and they said it will be addressed in pie, this could be related to the battery getting hot while charging as mentioned by @valexbast .I personally haven't had this issue with screen on time being less but I use my old Samsung charger 2Amp 5V most of the time.
I am having (albiet minor) bugs when adjusting the display density and font size both to their smallest. The lock screen pin entry sticks to the left side of the screen, and notifications & quick settings change themselves randomly to the wrong density and back again. Nokia support refuses to acknowledge these bugs exist but I have seen a few people around the web with similar issues. I did not have any of these issues on DP4 which is interesting!

While helpful, I noticed that Nokia support is often instructed to "pacify" the user and assure them everything is normal. But I guess they're taking notes. I haven't tried changing display/font size but the bugs you describe should be easy enough to fix in the next update.
I don't think any of this is app-related anyway, even when we're talking notifications from certain apps. So here's to waiting.
Edit: by the way, I'm a long-time lurker and only newish user so I'm really not a veteran, but hey... welcome to XDA!
New update just popped up that brings the gear s3 software to the one on the Galaxy Watch Active with its features and interface. It's also suppose to bring battery improvements too! I'm updating now I'm my usa version of the gear s3 classic

Now if they will update the Wear app so it's compatible with Android Q...
Well, I don't like the screen staying on while charging with the little charging symbol scrolling around the display after this update! The display only goes off once the watch has a full charge. I can't find any setting to disable this stupid display being always on while charging as I do not use the always on display setting at all anyway. I really hate it when they change the simplest things which make no sense at all. I probably wouldn't mind it that much if it was displaying a number for amount of battery charge instead of a stupid charge symbol. Oh well, they added one annoying thing with this update!
Update non-US watches
Being curious about this update I changes my CSC from PHN to XAR. The update was offered to me (with release notes in Dutch) and successfully installed. Afterwards I changed my CSC back to PHN. All working as expected, but to early to tell something usefull regarding this firmware as it is running for just a few minutes.
If you can't wait for this update for your region, you could try the method mentioned above and update to Tizen 4.0.0.4 and One UI 1.0.
Be careful as usual and remember your watch will be reset.
CSC changed using this guide:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/gear-s3/guide-how-to-change-gear-s3-r760-csc-t3784226
just out of curiosity, did this update fix the sensor not working issue introduced after tizen 3.0.0.2 update?
Try to do it, but nothing works :/

I am not an expert enough to guide you through the whole process, but these were steps I took:
- changed CSC to XAR as described in the post mentioned
- phone resets
- connected watch to phone
- restored backup
- changed CSC back to PHN
- phone resets
- connected watch to phone
- restored backup
- configured some stuff like widget order on my watch and installed some additional watchfaces/apps form the Galaxy Store which were not restored from backup.
- back in business and all working as expected.
Hope it helps.
(My devices: S3 Classic SM-R770 / Galaxy S8 SM-G950F)
Just updated my AT&T S3 Frontier to One UI version 1.0, Tizen 4.0.0.4 (R765AUCU2DSD7) - Everything appears to be working fine except for the Alarm App 1.1.56 and Widget. Getting error: "Unable to load data. Tap to retry" when I tap on the Widget and nothing when I click on the App icon. If I set an Alarm on my S9+ the S3 displays/sounds/vibrates the alarm just fine. I just can't set an alarm from the S3. I have restarted the watch and my S9+ is running the latest version of Android Galaxy Wearable. Anyone else experiencing this issue with their Frontier? - I noticed that updates for the Stop Watch and Timer apps were added in the Galaxy store, but not the Alarm app. Maybe there's an Alarm app update in the pipeline.

I just posted in another forum but I am having issues with using the 4 person Contact Widget. I can only choose from about 10-12 contacts to put on the widget...its like it only synced a handful of contacts?

Yeah, this sucks! I just want it off (I like a dark room when I sleep).

After this update my Alarm app is showing version 1.2.64 and appears to be working. However, the Galaxy App Store showing the other version 1.1 56 though. Strange...
Installing now
Notifications got slightly changed if I see that correctly. With previous version, multiple whatsapp notifications from different chats only showed the latest one (at least for me).
But now I was able to select between single notification. Maybe someone can check that for themselves.
News Briefing widget does not work for me. Just says could not load, tap to retry but never reloads. Just FYI if anyone cares.
Since updating my battery drains like crazy if always on display is running. Used to get about a day with it on. Anyone else have this problem?

Will test it tomorrow. I used to have display always on almost everyday
Battery life seems much better for me. I installed the update late afternoon, explored the new UI a bit, installed all my apps and now I still have 38% battery in the morning. However, I did reset the device two times - before and after changing the CSC back and I leave the watch in goodnight mode overnight. I'm sure resetting helps avoid certain battery issues.
You are correct...

So yesterday my phone was at 15% by noon after removing it from the charger at 0530. I thought maybe I thought it was on the charger overnight but wasn't. So now today I charged my watch on my drive into work and removed it from the charger at 0730 this morning... But 1330 it was dead! So yesterday was no a fluke it was massive battery drain from the latest update. I do use always on because it's easier for my job but I have never seen drain this past from this watch. I did a master reset to see if that resolves the battery issue. So far it appears to be working because it is draining at a normal rate again.
So far, so good
With AOD, brightness at 7 and heart rate monitoring off it seems to be promising
yeah i am luckily having no issues with the update. all my apps seem fine. it is way more responsive with less lag. battery seems to be about the same although i have only had it since yesterday but comparable so far. i am really liking the new oneui. feels like a new watch.
