Honor 6x increase the value minimum shutter speed EMUI5 - Honor 6X Questions & Answers

Greetings Devs!!!
Couldn't find any related thread that's why I'm asking!!!
Is there any way possible that I can increase the minimum shutter speed of the Honor 6x camera. As in can i take long exposure beyond 8 seconds what emui allows by default!!! I got the RAW support from one the threads... So i was wondering if this is also possible!
.
Thanks everyone who's gonna help!

camera manual control

hello ! i will probably be a member of the mi4c page soon enough as i will 99% buy this device. i wanted to ask, someone who owns the device the amount of manual controls you have with the stock camera app. you can tune the iso value from where to where. i would also like to know the longest exposure value (shutter speed) you can achieve, thanks in advance.
The ISO value reaches from 100 to 3200 and the longest exposure is 1/2s

Hey Rob, did you happen to experiment with manual settings in a low light environment? Mainly reducing the exposure time to avoid blurr.
I'm also interested in the Mi4C, but for me the camera is quite important and there are contradictory reviews about it.

App launch speed

OMG! Kim K posted another selfie with tons of cleavage! Rate this thread to express how quickly apps launch on the Honor 9. A higher rating indicates that even the most intensive apps launch quickly and without hesitation, even if they are no longer in RAM.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
app launch speeds are great, no issues
Apps launch instantly... nothing to criticize there.
I hope honor used ufs for even more speeds.

Blazingly fast...
Very fast. Zero lags.
Apps are run fantastic no lag / bug / glitch no problem and issues!
VERY fast app launch speed. The Honor 9 kills it in this area.

Overclock Screen Refresh Rate (Hz) Mod ?

Has anyone tried to do this, if the screen supports this like the Mi 9T Pro ?
Don't think so. There is not yet any custom dev for this phone, so, I don't believe this is happening soon
Found a CC9 Pro overclock dtbo posted in this thread by @HelloRickyLee - check the telegram link in the OP:

I'm running Q and I think those CC9 Pro mods are for P; the 66Hz and 69Hz at least flash fine on Q but bork the battery stats and charging speed. The 72Hz and 90Hz were really laggy and dropped the frame rate way down; 75Hz and 84Hz were completely unusable after boot. Maybe better luck on a P build though. Using the 69Hz dtbo it shows the refresh rate at 69Hz in AIDA64 and the device does feel a bit smoother to me, but might be placebo since running a ufo test shows the refresh rate at 62Hz.
Maybe someone who knows more about this can look into it, but it seems overclock to some extent is possible for this device.

This mod for Mi9 series may also works on Mi Note 10. I myself can't try not having this phone.
BTW it seems android 10 doesn't allow higher than 66Hz. I see Mi9 series still have no solution on Android10.

Doen't work for me running MIUI.EU stable 11.0.5 pie.
Also tried to flash 66 - 75hz mod specially made for this device. Touch stops working. Settings says is is in 75hz but I can clearly see it runs 60hz.

How about this? Another app for xiaomi framerate control. This one allows setting by 1Hz step.
Any update on this? Thanks.

Android Sensor delay

Hello people i had something in my mind for a long time and wanted to discuss here the question is that why there is a difference in sensor latency or delay in android if compared to iphone i mean a good quality android gyroscope sensor supports 500hz sampling rate or 700hz max and iphone has only 100hz but their sensors are more reactive even 7 plus sensor latency is far less then the latest android phones i tested in lg g7 i maxed the sensors rate by using an imu app it was faster but still behind the 7 plus or is their any way to max somehow dm verity is enbled thank you.

Question How is the PWM of the screen? (Screen flicker)

Anyone was able to measure PWM values? Is it as bad as 6 Pro?
Seems like now it have 240 hz

This is crushing news. I'm one of those people that are susceptible to headaches from low Hz flicker. I was going to go for the P7 pro but this is a non starter for me if it's true. Anyone else that got the phone and has pwm headaches or eye strain please comment
(maybe this is a noob question)
Can this be somehow solved by a custom kernel that would make the phone use DC dimming instead of PWM?
In my experience (with previous phones) DC dimming makes no difference. It took some time for me to understand what flicker value would impact me. It seems that anything under 350 or so give me headaches. From what I understand this varies from person to person with about 5% of people being affected negatively. I can't actually see the flicker but after about 5 minutes of using a screen that las a low rate, I develop a headache. I can't read in cars either. It offsets the same feeling in me.
How come DC dimming makes no difference, when DC dimming doesn't use PWM (flicker)?

I'm not sure about the science behind it. I'm just giving my personal experience. I tried to upgrade my op 8 pro to a op 9 pro last year. As it turns out the op9 pro also has a low flicker rate. It also had the ability to enable DC dimming. It didn't fix my problem. I sent it back.
