You may be trying to flash a version 1 bootloader over a version 2. You can't roll back to an earlier version. Get the latest sprint firmware and it should work fine. If that's not it, I don't know what to tell you.

Sorry to break the bad news, but you're on the latest locked bootloader rom 4.3. You will not able to unlock bootloader or flash custom firmware. You only can root with saferoot and flash TW rom using safestrap. Here is how to recover back to stock 4.3 with locked bootloader

My phone it stay in BOOT sequence after i START odin to work and passed. 5 h. since stand like that .
What it changed is that now my phone displays in Download Mode :

You're on locked bootloader 4.3, there is no other Rom you could flash except for 4.3 stock rom for now. You need to follow the direction on the link, try Odin with PIT file (also in the link, pick the right PIT for your phone either 16gb or 32 gb), if not working try Verizon recover ultility. Make sure you use stock 4.3 image ONLY!!!

Verizone aplication ? is DOING NOTHING ... I stuck on 83% and it stay there for many hours day`s if it let it like that ... .
i belive it need to be with loadet android i mean whit android on in and turned on .
Yeah in SUA Application it show phone have the MF1 version on it ... .
I stil have an opinnion , i belive it will be wise to conect to my pc via teamwiev and see by your self " if it " can be done .

Hy . Morning to all.
Watever i did it works and funny is i hahe the 4.1.2 Android version on it :silly:
I did try all the files i did download all over the time and ar so many ... onli a few files work i mean not give fail on finish.
After i try 1 of so many bootloader i have download i started the STOCK-VRBLK3-recovery and it finish and restart .
I did go in recovery mode and from sd card i try many zip ... onli from a sd-card of 8Gb ... Sorry i not remember which file waz god
cuz evry time i start apply from sd-card it tell`s me he cant get pass off signature and faill to install from it ... but not the last i try it
i saw it didnt faill and i waz so gladly and fast i reboot my phone to see if it works and now i have a working phone .

I'm almost in the same place as You are.
I was not using my SGS3 for some time. I hard bricked it and kept it aside. I got it Jtag repaired and I installed the 4.0.4 stock ROM Initially. Then when I downloaded Kies, it gave me an option to download the latest patch and I accepted it. oohhh crap..... I know. I don't know it then.
But now, I have a 4.3 stock ROM. Can You please tell me what file did You download???
Because in this flashing or updating process, I also have downloaded almost 50 GB of different files. So, mostly I will have the file, which You had used for getting back to 4.1.2
I want to try other ROMs. This stock ROM does not let me use the Hotspot feature and that is the only feature that I use. I don't need any other features. HOTSPOT IS THE ONLY FEATURE I USE AND IT IS THE ONLY ONE, THAT I'M NOT USING.

There should be a untouched 4.3 Rom under the development section. Flash that with safestral then flash the stock tether zip.
Hi everyone! i have a sch-i535 device, whenever i flash a rom in odin mode it keep on saying "sw REV CHECK FAIL: Fused 2 > Binary 0"! i cant do anything! and i followed one solution when i odin with that , my odin process was success but again even after that i get the same error 'sw REV CHECK FAIL: Fused 2 > Binary 0" when i try to flash a rom!
every time when i follow different solutions im getting different different errors! not the solution!

'kites3 also saying the connected device is not supported!"

I believe you get that error if you try to flash an older ROM once you are on 4.3 or newer.
They probably meant 4.4.2, the Odin flashable version of this can be found at http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SCH-I535/ Unfortunately I don't know if this will be your solution or not, hopefully it is.

First of all Thanks a lot @dowgdoc !! this 4.4.2 rom got PASSED in odin! and now the new problem is when it got restarted it is stuck on the red verizon logo screen! can you please tell me solution for this issue?
i have a S6 edge plus , it was working fine , i did install alot of Custom roms to try them out , after that i had a stock N rom , it was always flashing , after i flashed a rom , my device number turned from G928F to G920C but still when i connect to pc it says G928F , anyways i flashed the stock rom and there was an update , ihave updated , after that i worked with it for a few days then got back to custom , after the custom rom i wanted to flash the stock and it wont pass it always fail with "sw rev check fail device 5 binary 4 " i dont know whats wrong , can anyone help me please ; btw now the phone wont even copie a custom rom from pc it says disconected or something ,

I have a Sprint SM-G955U and I was wondering if there is any root method for this device. When I try to downgrade it says: SW REV CHECK FAIL : [abl]Fused 5 > Binary 1.
Can someone please let me know if I can root or is it a waste of time trying to root right now. If anyone can give me any information about it I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

By the look of it looks like you're on nougat and as far as I know only oreo could be rooted.
I need help with this to. I think we upgraded to, to new of a revision in the firmware. And thats why it wont work. What is your exact firmware

I honestly have no clue....I got the phone because someone tried to root it and now it has no firmware or recovery on it anymore....... but now its saying binary 2 not binary 1 anymore and I don't even know how that happened..... I have been working on this for months......I refuse to give up lol......for real though its just bugging me.......

What carrier is it thru and it has to gmhave firmware on it to turn on brotha but it might be bricked . Luckily yours a easy fix. All you gotta do is flash the stock firmware back on there. Tell me what carrier and ill give you a link and explain how to do it.

OK I figured out how to fix it.....I had to flash it in odin with G955USQS5CRH1_G955UOYN5CRH1_SPR firmware which i downloaded from sammobile.com. Than I followed this root method https://forum.xda-developers.com/ve...nt/root-using-odin-modified-firmware-t3693790 ...so try that and see if it works....but I do have one more question....i am trying to unlock my phone and dealing with sprint has been nothing but a headache. so does anyone know where else i could try to get this phone unlocked???? I'd really appreciate the help...

my friend has a s8+ model G955U. ATT version. unlocked.
baseband is = G955USQU1AQEF
he is on security patch May 1, 2017.
latest patch is september 1, 2018.
he is not receiving updates after that. at least 15 updates are issued after that.
from various online searches i have read that users are facing problems.
now i am asking if i can flash sammobile firmware ????
will he lose sim unlock or not ?

I got my phone from Germany and tried to flash Nordic stock rom with Odin. enabled developer option but did not tick OEM UNLOCK!
After start ordin, I got error on my phone:
ODIN mode (AVB Fail)
product: Error validation footer
product: error verifying vbmeta image
SAMSUNG product ...
I can restart again to download mode, but it is not allowing me to flahs any firmware!!
I tried Germany android 10 , Nordic one and one from UK as a test, but it is keep saying pit_binary_flash unsupported version!!!
What does it mean, theversion is 10 and the coiuntry is the same!! i used the same CSC and the same AP ... Damn

Im facing same problem than you, bought in Finland samsung s10e last july tried to downgrade to Android 9 because severe battery drain after the february update, downloaded from sammobile NEE version but when start to flash in odin the phone does not do anything and end in flash error.
Tried to test without luck also BTU uk version but same problem.
The error code is this one
SW REV CHECK FAIL

binary:3
pit flash binary unsupported version .
Any help will be very good.

aha, that is because the downgrade is not allowed. there is no way to downgrade your phone,
The only solution is to flash android 10 again on your phone.
for example,take a look at here:
https://www.samfw.com/firmware/SM-N975F/NEE
there is a Tab named Bit, for me the problem was i tried to use Bit 1 while my phone is Bit 2. for the same reason I got error: device:2 binary:1
So I think it means using Bin 1 is incorrect
So I flashed Bin 2 and worked.
Hope it solve your problem since it toke 3 days froms me to find the solution.

Turn phone off hold voulme up and down together, and then plug in USB C cable it will boot into download mode! Well that's how i boot into download mode Note 9!

th error message means your phone ion a newer software version than the one you flashed on it
