My Note edge W8 will not connect to my cell network provider. I installed Lineage OS works great but cannot connect to network. Did I flash something wrong? It otherwise works great.

I have bought a Samsung S5 SM-G900P Unlocked Phone..
I am receiving call & SMS , also make Call & SMS..All the functions are working fine.But there is some issue in mobile data.I am on 3G service in india. Service Provider Is idea cellular but my phone is not connecting to mobile internet.I have Created manual settings for Access point. The same settings are working in other phones.Please Help me in connecting to mobile internet..

P version of S5 mainly belongs to Sprint networks, yes you can unlock it and use it with other networks, but these networks work differently. I bought me gold unlocked edition and it will work worldwide, but I will have some internet issues and I have to use GSM SIM Card, our sim card is for LTE connectivity and CDMA is programmed in like cricket does. Hope this explains, also try many different providers and see what does and doesn't work right. You can do the research for people who don't know what's out there, and S5's are all over India although they have hex core version.

I use my data sim card from Orange (spain) which I have been using in my Ipad until I sold it - on the Ipad it connected to 4G. Both connected from the same location.
Do I need to do something to make it connect to 4G?

Is settings > more networks > mobile networks > network mode set to LTE/WCDMA/GSM (Auto)?

I have the same problem, and sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. I don't know the exact reason, but sometimes when you select "3G only" and then back to "LTE", it works. But not always. I am unable to figure out how to make it work always.

you should have 3G 4G and H+ icons...try to do a provider selection after a search of antennas .
Pixel 5" 1st after 8.1 updated
Lte Logo on screen looks working fine.
Can make phone calls.
Can not conect to the internet.
Tried other Apn setting but not work.
Using Hong Kong telecom network.
Hope fix it soon. I am using a note 8 to share the network. :crying:

I know that 5Ghz wifi is available but due to restrictions it is disabled in Europe.
Do you know if there is any way to unlock that frequency manually?
Purpose : the connection with my drone is really more stable in 5.8Ghz.
Also I have a tablet (Ifive mini 4s) that works in 5.8ghz.

I would like to say also that my wife's phone (Galaxy A5 2017 stock rom) is by default unlocked for 5Ghz wifi
Maybe he is talking about 5.8Ghz not 5.2Ghz
I have bought a Samsung Note 20 ultra-SMN986U1 from USA. I work and live in Kuwait and is currently using Ooredoo 5G network. But my phone doesn't show 5G network. Few months back I searched XDA forum and through service mode, change some bandwidth setting. The phone showed 5G only when connected to Wi-Fi but as soon as I switched off the Wi-Fi, the network will change to LTE+. After the latest update no more 5G connection.
Could you guide me how can I activate 5G on my phone that shall work properly.
