hello!
my friend bought a new G935FD
but instead of resetting through Settings.. she went to recovery & did a factory reset, now she's stuck.
soo, how to bypass this?
If its new how did she get locked out? She just needs to put in her gmail she used to setup the device and it'll unlock.
If it's stuck asking for a password when booting, try default_password

I installed a new sim card in my phone and when I rebooted the password didn't work. I tried removing the new sim card and putting in the old one, restarting the device, Google's device manager to lock and put on a new password, and hard resetting. Nothing has worked, the password remains and won't accept the right answer nor any of the Google lockout passwords. any ideas?

no one has any ideas? Just a note I don't have USB debugging enabled so ADB commands won't work and the factory reset has done anything.

You should have removed all security before performing this. (Fingerprint, pin, etc). Warranty it.
I bought a broken nexus 5x with the bootloop problem and fixed it but the previous owner had all of their stuff on it so I had to reset it in Recovery mode. However, when I got into setup it got stuck on that step and I can't get past. Can you please help me A. Get past this problem or B. Get the owners email so I can try and get them to unlock it. I just don't want all my time reserching and fixing the bootloop to be wasted because the last owner couldn't reset their phone. Thanks, Pengus009
By the way, the version is Oreo 8.0.0

Whenever I factory reset my phone reasons maybe because of root or going back to stock I notice that the FRP is now disabled and I can skip past the google account with the skip button. Does the OEM unlock have to do with this? My phone is a factory unlocked model of the Pixel 7 pro.
I'm a bit confused with your question... If you initiate a factory reset from the settings menu, you effectively remove the FRP link to your account. FRP is designed to prevent other methods of factory reset (like from the recovery or bootloader) when an account has already been added to the device.
