Nexus 5x stuck on "Verifying your account" - General Questions and Answers

I bought a broken nexus 5x with the bootloop problem and fixed it but the previous owner had all of their stuff on it so I had to reset it in Recovery mode. However, when I got into setup it got stuck on that step and I can't get past. Can you please help me A. Get past this problem or B. Get the owners email so I can try and get them to unlock it. I just don't want all my time reserching and fixing the bootloop to be wasted because the last owner couldn't reset their phone. Thanks, Pengus009

By the way, the version is Oreo 8.0.0

Galaxy S4 Sprint Encryption failed - stuck on Reset Device
Hello all,
First, forgive me if the steps I followed below don't make any sense, I don't really know much if what I am / was doing. Anyway:
I have a Galaxy S4 from sprint, L720
I'm about to sell my phone, and I few months ago I rooted it following this procedure using odin:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-sprint/general/rom-100-stock-l720vod2-5-0-1-t3105760
Not too much to say here, this is just more of a background information.
Anyway, Because I'm selling my phone, I wanted to make sure my information was deleted securely form the device, and found that many people said it should be encrypted.
I tried to do that, and after a couple of hours of the phone stuck on a blank screen, I removed the battery and restarted it.
Now I have a screen that says "Encryption failed" - "Reset Device", only the button to reset it, does nothing.
I follow that guide again, installed that rom again.
I also have twrp, did factory reset, wiped all the data, and still, when I boot, I get that same message.
I have also tried to backup the data (after the debacle), restore it and factory reset the phone.
This leaves the phone stuck on the very first screen, "Samsung Galaxy S4", which maybe a good sign or not.
Any ideas?

That worked. I had tried with other ROMs, such as the rooted one mentioned above and it did not work. The original one did. Thank you sir!

Stuck on "Checking network" after factory reset

Just realized i posted this in the wrong area and I'm not sure how to delete. Phone is a galaxy s7 edge. Sorry.
So i rooted my phone, deleted something i shouldn't have, then had to use odin to fix it after i got stuck in a boot loop (i think i used this: G935AUCU4BQF3). The phone starts up, says there was an authorized attempt... etc, ask for a wifi connection, then gets stuck on checking network. I bought the phone in the US, but I am currently living in China. I have tried 3 different wifi connections, and tried using a VPN.. but it still hangs. I have also tried wiping cache partition and wipe data/factory reset in the recovery. I believe i was originally on whatever update came out in November (i think i remember my phone doing an update). Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have been looking for a solution for 3 days, and have yet to come up with anything. Asking for help here was my final option.
There's been a couple of other members with the same problem, unable to connect to enter Google credentials and remove the FRP lock
Not sure if a solution was found but if you search this Q&A forum section you should come across a couple of threads about it

FRP Locked, Bricked Honor 8 FRD-L14

Hello Guys,
I'm back again (I posted about this issue about 6-9 months ago, a couple users tried their best to help me with it, since than I haven't had any time to fix this issue).
History:
1. Brand new FRD-L14, bought the phone, used it for 1/2 day, fell, cracked screen, replaced it.
2. The phone worked there after, but the OS read "NRM-Test Keys", anyways since I had TWRP installed at that time, tried several different roll backs and such to install a full OS, never worked
3. I did encounter a problem where the fastboot screen would read "PHone Unlocked", but "FRP Locked", at which time I was unable to install anything the error when going through Adb/Fastboot would be "Error: Command No Allowed", a experienced user here did fix it remotely for me, no idea how, but anyways it worked, so back to #2
4. Now the phone has FRP Locked again. So I can get into fastboot, and stock recovery (which doesn't work, states device is unsupported), cannot instal TWRP as FRP is locked
What I need help with is to get rid of this dam FRP Locked issue. I don't understand why it keeps coming back despite me not logging in/putting in credentials when I install the OS.
As I am in the US, Huawei has no authorized repair centers. What a waste!
Any help or suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Get my data back from "crashed" phone

Hi,
I use a galaxy s7 with SupermanRom and TWRP I installed 1.5 year ago (updated it a few times but it wasn't up to date now).
A few days ago I got the error message "custom binary blocked by frp lock" after rebooting . I think I unchecked OEM by mistake recently, not sure.
So I used odin to install a stock firmware from sammobile. I took the most recent one (8.0, my phone was 7.0 I think though). I used HOME_CSC to keep my data.
Odin task succedeed but I got the "No command" error after the blue android screen of installing updates. After restart it puts me on the "encryption failed, please reset to factory settings" screen. I did again the odin installation and same issue. I tried a lower firmware but got an odin error.
The big issue is that my SD was actually full and only now I remember allowing the phone to save my pictures on the phone itself 3 months ago...
I just came back from holidays and I really need to get my pictures back before the factory reset.
So I now have only access to the stock (?) bootloader (Jb2v7Ie on imgur, can't post link), the "no command" then encryption failed factory reset screen and the downloading screen.
I really need your help, I don't want to make a mistake I have barely no experience with all this and I didn't find anything except some shady softwares like dr fone. I don't mind paying 30$ for a software if I can get my pictures back though.
Thanks.

Get my pictures back from bricked phone before factory reset

Hi, I bricked my phone and desperately need to get my pictures back before the factory reset. My SD was full so my camera was saving on my phone and it has my holidays pictures.
So I now have only access to the bootloader (i.imgur.com/ xxZh9lh.jpg remove space please I can't post links), the "downloading" screen and the encryption failed factory reset screen.
I really need your help, I don't want to make a mistake and lose my pictures, I have barely no experience with all this and I didn't find anything except some shady softwares like dr fone. I don't mind paying 30$ for a software if I can get my pictures back though.
Thanks.

Odin task succeded but couldn't use my phone : blue android screen of installing updates and then "No command" error. Then the phone restarts and is stuck on "encryption unsuccessful/failed, reset phone".
I tried again the odin install and same issue. I tried a lower firmware but got an odin error.
Hi, I still need help, I made the post clearer.
