Possible helpful Kernel Source from other Foxconn FB400 phones

I'm not sure if this will help us much at all, but, I figured I'd put this out there.
Froyo and GB ROMs for some GSM variants of the Foxconn FB400 phone (which is what the Triumph is ) can be found here:

Motorola is 'preparing' it but if it's hauwei or whatever then that would explain a delay, i love it when companies 'work together'
nonetheless, this thread may be relevant to follow. It is on the motodev blog regarding release of the open source kernel etc for this device...

Jellybean kernel source code is out

Happened to check the htcdev website tonight and saw that they've released a bunch of kernel source codes for the One XL. Get them here

Hmm you're like a week late...kernel source was released a while ago...many threads about it..and yours will be closed

Did someone say closed?
Appreciate the info but as stated this has been posted several times already and the devs are already working with it.

Does anybody know if the kernel source code can be downloaded from anywhere yet?

Alcatel hasn't posted the source code on Sourceforge yet.

are you planing to develop something??

There's another discussion about this somewhere in the Idol 3 forums. It's suspected it will be at least a couple of months after release. That what i read last a few days ago.

Oreo Kernel Source Request

As it was quite a success requesting the source code as a community last time, we should try to request for the oreo kernel too...
1. Go to the opensource website: http://opensource.samsung.com/reception/receptionSub.do?method=sub&sub=F&searchValue=sm-g955f
2. Click on the "inquiry" letter on the right side of the website
3. Enter your informations (Name/Email and so on), click on "inquiry type", "request for source codes"
4. Source code type: "kernel"
5. Write a message to request the G955FXXU1ZQJJ source code (it's important that you mention the base)
6. Agree the terms and send it to samsung
7.Write something like Kindly release source for SM-G955F & G950F XXU1ZQJJ

They're not going to release a source for a closed beta I don't think, maybe when oreo drops officially yes as the source code thst was requested before was for official software available to everyone

Well, i support the effort i have a SM-G950U and just asked for them to release the source for the SM-G955F & SM-G950F. May the odds be ever in our favor!
