S7 T-Mobile to Global rom - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

Hi to all
I have Samsung S7 model SM-G930T. Can I flash international version for this phone without T-Mobile applications? I mean flash it with Odin.
Please help me to find which room to use. Thx a lot!

From G930T firmware to G930U firmware, but keeping G930T radio information for Wi-Fi and VoLTE.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/tm...ashing-g930u-firmware-to-t-mobile-s7-t3533918

i dont know if TMO version can install with this method, but my ATT S7 has successfully installing the U firmware version (G930A to G930U). https://forum.xda-developers.com/at...to-install-g930u-firmware-sm-g930a-t-t3609300

SM-G930V or SM-G930P ?

Hello, I bought S7 in internet. It was sold to me as Verizon version (SM-G930V). Actual software (G930VVRU2APB5) means that it's Verizon version indeed, but IMEI check shows that it's Sprint version (SM-G930P)... So I have few questions about this situation:
1. Is it bad that box and phone says that it's Verizon but IMEI says that it's Sprint? What may it cause in future? Or maybe phone is not original? Download mode works and Antutu checked confirms that it's original...
2. I wanted to upgrade my soft but how to do that? Update function shows me error while downloading so I wanted to do it via Odin but again - which version should I download? The latest from Verizon or Sprint?...
3. I live in Europe - will this phone work in our network? I mean 4G etc
My 930P has been flashed with 930V, 930A, 930T1,and 930U firmware all snapdragons are universal in that they can be flashed with all other USA carriers firmware

930U is unlocked and debloated firmware but gets updated less frequently. The rest is really up to you on which bloat you prefer. If you are wanting to root I'd suggest 930V

Search on google market CPU identifier ..some.users says it's show the truth about hardware even if it's spoofed to show something else

I've just told you, check which model it says in download mode, that is the model phone
If it is snapdragon, 100% it is not the G930F so no you can not flash International

Yes you need to flash stock for the G930V if you want Nougat stock (G930VVRU4BQC5)
I have no idea about your network compatibility

Your phone has been faked, it is a very common issue here on XDA
Everything can be faked apart from download mode
Label on the back, anything inside the firmware, sticker on the box, all can be faked
Download mode cannot be faked, your phone is G930V, end of story

MM or Nougat makes no difference, if you flash for G930V it will flash fine, no dm-verity, no kernel problems, it is the correct stock ROM for your model S7
The only thing I can not predict is your network compatibility
Anyway, whoever you bought the phone from lied to you and ripped you off, if you bought it as G930F, get a refund

You're not understanding me, it is not a fake S7, it has been faked to look like a different model S7
It is a Samsung Galaxy S7 model G930V
They change the model number so it looks like International version G930F and other more popular models
The US models are bootloader locked so not very popular
That is the only thing faked with it
if you flash G930V firmware, it will be 100% genuine S7 G930V

Hey dear friend
I scare to do anything by myself so i gave it to programmer and he told me i will flash F model nougat and there will be no problem but after 24 hours he told me F and V roms he downloaded from sammobile fails during flash and he must install 4 file rom and take more money and he finally installed the G930V rom but i don't think so he did anything special maybe he just flashed a official rom from sam.
However my 4G internet speed is very down but rest of mobile performance is ok and nougat is much better.

G955FXXU1AQH3 unlocked, bloatware grabage problem.

Hey fella's, and ladies. I just got my G955F, bought inside of the US off of the same person I usually go through. Turns out It's a UK model that came with Vodafone bloatware and shows 4G instead of LTE (even though it IS LTE). Is there a US variant? And if so can I flash the phone with any G955F variant software using odin? So I guess I'm asking, what is the best, and purest firmware if I am in the US. I have T-Mobile and I'm in Cali. Thanks ahead. (Sorry, but I posted this in the S8 section originally, like a dumb-dumb)
Also, could I flash with G955U unlocked firmware?
http://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?exact=1&q=SM-G955F
Here you can download the US ROM and use Odin to flash - these are official ROM's so Knox will not be tripped
NO
You CANNOT flash a G955U rom to a G955F device
It will definately soft brick or even hard brick your device
You can flash this rom ( https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s8/SM-G955F/EUR/download/G955FXXU1AQH3/184528/ )
No bloatware, multilang and fast updates.

DON'T GIVE WRONG INFORMATION!!!
If you don't know what you talking about, then say nothing!
You CAN'T flash G955U FW to a G955F
Do you know the difference between the G955U & G955F?
If you did, than you would have known the answer!!!

Got it. Couldn't find any US firmware on that page. Part of my question about the US firmware, or multilang firmware comes from the fact that Walmart sells G955F's. I would imagine whatever firmware is on there would be what I would want. Just don't know what that is.
-Thanks for all the replies so far. If I can't figure out what firmware comes on the US Walmart G955F phone, I suppose I will go with the variant listed above.
-Also, will VoLTE work on the multilang rom? Or is there a rom that works with T-Mobile and VoLTE? And if anyone is wondering, I wanted to Exynos variant, that's why I didn't buy G955U.

Well, I went ahead and used this firmware. Really like it, no problems at all and its exactly what you said it would be (hopefully its got great support as well). Appreciate the direction. Thank you.
If anyone finds out what comes on the US released (Walmart) G955F, I would really like to know. I've been searching and searching, and can't seem to figure it out.

using G930A variant on tmo network

I was given an S7 G930A variant brand new. I would assume that it's locked to AT&T. It runs 6.0.1 and has G930AUCS4APK1. I want to use it on tmo network and learned here that people approach it differently by either flashing G930U or G930T to it. What is the best approach? Thanks for your suggestion
is it that much unpopular that no one has any suggestion? I'm surprised.
If you want a bloat free experience just flash the G930U firmware. If you don't mind the tmobile bloatware, you can flash the G930T firmware. I use the G930U firmware on a Tracfone branded S7 since am not located in the US. For me the U firmware is best.

No it won't... I've flashed the G965U AT&T firmware on to 5UI unlocked with AT&T user data and both the home csc and regular csc files, and none of the carrier specific software works. Furthermore, you will limited to only 4G speeds during phone calls on the 5UI, at least with a AT&T sim card. This is my biggest pet peeve with this phone.

I don't know what I may have done differently, but did exactly what you did and I have everything working. Flashed AT&T rb7/rbg and user data over stock u1 firmware after factory reset. Volte/wifi calling, lte during phone calls and video calling work for me. I'm att/att/xaa, knox wasn't tripped.
The only thing I have as a complaint is it doesn't fetch ota's. So I have been reseting and Odin-ing updates as they roll out.
Thanks op for the files

Hope you do not mind me asking but I am new to Galaxy devices. Nexus/Pixel was always my choice but after having a bug filled Pixel XL 2 I decided to give the S9+ a shot. Not familiar with how the firmware for them work so I thought to ask you since you look to be very helpful in this thread.
I have T-Mobile S9+ which was updated to latest March 1 security update. I would like to flash it to the unlocked firmware. Is this https://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?record=182E00202C6211E89F15FA163EE8F90B the same unlock firmware you posted?
Would I be able to use WiFi Calling, HD Calling and all other features on T-Mobile with the unlocked firmware?
Thanks for the help!
