Pixerl no longer vibrates - Google Pixel Questions & Answers

Anyone else having vibration issues with the Pixel? I replaced the vibration motor and it only worked for a couple hours.
I am on Android 8.1, unlocked, and rooted. I had this problem under Pure Nexus as well.

[Q] When in standby, phone occasionally dosent wake up

Ive had my nexus s for 2 weeks, flashed cm7 stable and latest nighly. With both distributions of android Ive had this problem where my phone, about once a week goes into a "coma"
It dosent wake up from sleep and shows a single white pixel lit up in the middle of the screen. I take out the battery and reset it and then it works.
Anyone else had this problem? And does anyone know how to fix it?
Thanks!!
Mine won't come out of sleep once in awhile. I don't get the white pixel though. I have chalked it up to flaky kernels or poor Samsung hardware as it never happened with my EVO Shift. I haven't run completely stock long enough to know whether it would happen in stock or not though and it is infrequent enough that I don't care. If I remember to reboot once in awhile the problems goes away.

Vibration Motor stopped working

Hi all,
My unlocked T-mobile (germany) One S suddently had his vibration motor stopping to work...
It will work a bit if I shake the phone a bit but after few vibrations it stops again.
Anyone has the same issue?
I did root or changed rom\kernel, and I highly doubt it is a SW issue.
I contacted HTC, we'll see how it goes
Nope, try downloading a vibrator app and see if you can kick it back to life using that + tapping the corners of the device.

[Q] Pocket sensor/proximity sensor?

So, I installed Tweaky ROM a few days ago, and since then my phone has been waking up if I take it out of my pocket.
This morning, I noticed that when the phone is locked or on the lockscreen, there is a very faint red light I have never noticed before;
When locked
Screen unlocked
Does anyone know what this actually is? My RAZRi had a pocket sensor, but never did this. Is it just a feature of Tweaky?
Thanks

[Issue] [Resolved] Touch Screen randomly stops recognizing touch inputs?

So My gf & I both have the same phone (Idol 3 5.5, Single SIM) Mine works fine so far without any issues, though hers has had the touchscreen randomly stop receiving touch inputs at least twice during work today?
I'm pretty savvy, so I've already tried a few things to try and work the issue out.
Disabled all gestures under settings
Factory reset
Still it has happened again.
Any thoughts guys?
UPDATE: Contacted Amazon for replacement, they were happy to comply with the request.

Sounds like a hardware defect (broken digitizer)

Hardware problem.

I messed with it for awhile when she got home today. Performed another factory reset. Eventually it bootlooped several times before I called it quits. Amazon is already sending a replacement.
Guess she got a lemon. Nuff said.

Nexus 5 rattling

Hello,
Let me start by apologizing if this was already answered somewhere else, but I couldn't find anything similar to my issue.
So my Nexus 5x hardbricked itself last week, no surprise here... I knew it was coming eventually.
Until I get a new phone, I switched back to my trusty Nexus 5, which was shelved for years.
It's been working fine all around, apart from the battery, which doesn't hold a charge very well.. (It's really old anyways)
But something happened twice this morning: when I used the Android flashlight from the System UI it started rattling! (The led worked fine as it was rattling) And as soon as I turned it off, it stopped. It happened a second time, but right now the flashlight turns on without any noise.
I can imagine that the rattling might come from the OIS in the camera, but I never opened the camera app, only the Android built-in flashlight...
Should I be worried? Thanks in advance.
