All Xiaomi users suffer from a single problem, Firmware update. As there are many devices with no one to provide the newest firmware update every single release. And also developers who provide updates to devices may forget or be busy sometimes, so releases are provided later. Here is my simple solution:

A set of various script that automatically generates Xiaomi firmware flashable zip files every MIUI new update!
My scripts download MIUI official ROMs, both Developer and Stable, Global and China, extracts the firmware-update folder, generates firmware flashable zip with auto-written "updater-script", and uploads them automatically to many servers.
The scripts are completely automated, running on a Linux server every six hours.
Note:
Names will be in the following manner:

Firmware is not a ROM nor OTA Package, it's a set of low-level drivers which helps the operating system do whatever it wants to do. It includes various things like Modem, Bluetooth, Bootloader, DSP and etc.

Firmware is provided from Xiaomi directly, and there are no sources for it to let developers build and edit it on their own like custom ROMs, so if you want to keep your device up to date always update your firmware!

Also Note 4x was not always Snapdragon.. We all know that but firmware files in his database are like HMNote4 and HMNote4X lacking codenames. so if you downloading HMNote4 you are downloading Mediatek Variant(nikel)..
Like that HMNote4x is for Snapdragon (mido). Thats why I said it before don't get confused..!!

If possible add an exception to those file names..!! Mido/Nikel or Qualcomm/Mediatek.
This might be a dumb question. Both the Indian and International Snapdragon variants of mido have the same hardware except the Indian version supports only 3 LTE bands whereas the international version supports a lot more. There's no solid information online if this band limitation is a software or hardware restriction.
Could flashing the global firmware update the baseband which unlock those bands?
I am willing to be the first one to try as long as it doesn't permanently brick my device. Just in case something does go wrong, what partitions should I back up to be restored later?

Im really interested in this aswell, surprised nobody knows especially when it comes to ROM's. Like if it's software limitation in theory we should have 2 types of ROM's for Mido, for RN4 Global and for RN4x which support different bands.
But i guess it's hardware limitation, but then again we are using same firmware for both variants, it's pretty confusing actually.. i coulnd't figure it out myself.
I wonder if you can access B20 band on RN4 Global using RN4x firmware which doesnt support this band.

Actually even if it was a software restriction, the same ROM would work for both the devices. Only the baseband would vary which most custom roms don't touch

Ofcourse it would work, but the question is if it would support all bands from both variants, there are some signal drop issues which are affecting a lot of people and i was wondering if this is actually not connected with the band support difference.

I think that's a problem with the stock firmware itself. Friend has a RN4 with stock MIUI with a locked bootloader. Even he faces random disconnects in cell signal.

Whyred is China version, Whyredglobal is global version.
I do not think it works, I think they have different hardware in camera.

Bluetooth audio devices is not working (no sound from BT headphones, just the connection BIP) whatever PIE firmware i tried (9.3.14, 9.3.21) on custom roms (AEX, SIiberia) ?

I'm on candy ROM, so can't really speak for WiFi on miui. I haven't encountered any issues so far. Strength is as good as any other device although I haven't stress tested.

Well technically, I think rom can not have wifi issues as it's all in the firmware. So I think if u can tell me which version of miui you were in last and after that when moving into custom rom, did you flash any new firmware?

Just updated miui straight Outta box and didn't have to downgrade firmware to suit the ROM.

If you are updating from previous release just flash the rom on top of old one and wipe cache/dalvik(art) cache

For kernel source master branch is used on Note10+ 5g while d2s branch is used on Note10 and Note10+

Question: will FBE encryption ever work with AOSP builds like yours on S10/N10 or it is simply not possible to implement it (now or in the future) due to custom Samsung implementation? I understand we are relying on Samsung kernel and it's sources here, so this can be real showstopper.

it actually does fully work but iirc twrp for note10 doesnt support it so while system would be just fine with it and you could use it you would have to flash updates from sdcard, you can edit multidisabler and tell it not to remove encryption line from fstab, or just add back encryption to userdata back in fstab entry

I've been through S10 threads and is filled with user experiences not being able to make it work. I might still give it a shot on N10.

In case anyone was wondering if it'll work with the very latest Note 10+ 5G Firmware I just flashed it and seems to be working without issue . (not N976BXXU1ASHE)
Edit: Fingerprint enrolment doesn't work.
2nd edit: Got it working - I had to hold my fingerprint down for a good while the first go.

Excuse my ignorance, encrypted or unencrypted build?
If not encrypted why the need for fingerprint when I can just enter the recovery to grab all your data from your phone and remove protection?

Simple answer: my girlfriend doesn't know how to do that. And she can't bypass my fingerprint ?

I need N975F (Note10+) N975FXXU1ASJ2 (Oct update),
however I currently have N975F (Note10+) N975FXXS1ASJ2 (Nov update)
Is my first step to roll this back to OCT (is that even possible/recommended) or sit and wait for LineageOS to "catch up" and in the mean time stop future phone updates?
or will this not even be an issue?

Hi,
I followed the process and successfully installed Lineage. After booting into system, found that root was still not showing. So rebooted phone. Now phone is just stuck at the Lineage logo booting screen, unable to go into recovery too, tried all key combinations. Please help
