Camera drains batt entirely! - Honor 8 Questions & Answers

Here's the issue: let's the say the phone still has some good 30% of juice in battery. I open the stock camera app and take a picture, then it shuts down immediately, displaying the message that it's reached 0% of power and it will go off in thirty seconds. When off, if I then hook it up to the power adapter, the phone immediately displays the same 30% that it originally had at the beginning, so there's no problem if I turn it back on. It happens very often. Android version is stock (7.0), and EMUI is stock as well (5.0.1). Phone is FRD-L04.

Does it shut off when you're outside?

HTC Dash Crashing

My friend recently gave me an HTC Dash for T-Mobile. It's running WM6.1 Kavana's ROM 1.33.424.2. After he gave it to me I unlocked for AT&T completely, 100% legally. I called T-Mobile and they gave me the unlock code.
But since I've been using it it will randomly turn off. It seems to shut off more often using MMS or anything through the Internet, but it will also turn off just sitting in my pocket or while texting. Luckily it hasn't ever crashed during a call.
When I try to turn it back on it will either shut down before fully turning on (it will show the boot screen but turn off), it will turn on but say the battery is dangerously low and it needs to be shut down, or one time it had an error message saying "The device could not be started due to sudden loss of power. Click YES to continue or NO to shut down. Please be sure the device is completely shut down before removing the battery." If you click YES it shuts down. If you click NO the screen turns white then tries to start up a few seconds later and fails.
The way I stop this is plug it in to a charger and turn it on so it can't die. It says the battery is low but since its plugged in it won't turn off. Then once it turns on I turn it off normally by tapping the power button and selecting Power Off. Then I take out the battery, put the battery back in, turn the phone on, and then the battery is back to the power level it was before the crash and the phone works fine again. But any texts or calls I had made in the past few minutes are erased as if they hadn't been made, sent, or received.
I've already tried a few hard resets and it doesn't seem to work. I even downgraded to WM6. I just want to know if this is a software problem, a battery problem, a hardware problem, or something else. Thank you to anyone that can help.

I assume that your battery is working ok right?

Screen turns on randomly while phone is idle (Android L)

So I've flashed the new Lollipop using factory images, everything is new.
I rooted, installed TWRP, flashed franco r67 and greenified all my apps. I thought that everything would be smooth. I did everything that I've done on KitKat inorder to preserve battery life.
Well I was wrong. I went to sleep with 53% battery and woke up, 9 hours later, with 10%.
I didn't know why it happens, but now, while watching TV, and my phone is plugged to the USB charger next to me, I've noticed the screen turns on randomly. I got no text message, no notification whatsoever. It just turns on as if I pressed the power button. Then, after a few seconds its turns off again.
It happens every few minutes, I'm guessing it plays a huge part in my battery drain.
Can anyone help me figure this out?

My guess would be your battery is bad. I've had my device since launch and have gone through 4 batteries. Each time at failure the symptoms were the same. Battery drains fast, device shuts down with random amount of battery percentage remaining then bootloops and eventually only functions when a charger is plugged in. I'm guessing you were having battery issues intially and that's why you decided to use a calibrator? The calibration process may have been the last straw and your battery is shot.

Oneplus One Won't turn on

Hello I am having trouble with my Oneplus One. It won't turn on. Here are the details:
After 4 years of using, my battery could not support my phone. If I was using my battery's power, the phone would constantly reboot. So I plugged it into a power bank 24/7 in order to use the phone. It worked fine. Then, one day it would constantly reboot after the "cyanogen mod ready" screen.
Now, if I try to turn it on without it plugged in, it shows the oneplus logo and "poewred by android" screen, and reboots every 3 seconds with a vibrate. If I turn it on while plugged in, it passes the oneplus logo screen, and shows the cyanogen mod ready screen for ~10 seconds before powering off to show the battery charge percentage screen (at 100%).
I'm not sure how to fix this, but a possible solution is that I may need to replace the battery. I want to know if replacing the battery will wipe the data? I am trying to recover my photos and get my account from the LINE app. So I must be able to use the phone after. Where can I buy a working battery to replace it?
If the battery is not the issue, is there a solution to this?
Thanks so much

Phone won't turn on...kinda

On some random day i was on my pc, not aware of the fact that my Q6 had to be charged. I looked over and noticed that the battery died (the phone was in perfect condition and had never had problems before) but then when i tried charging it, it didn't turn back on.
Basically all it does now is show that it's charging, it then proceeds to try and turn on, it vibrates and the screen remains black, after about 2-5 minutes it vibrates again and again until i let the battery drain, then it just shows a battery icon with 0% on top of it.
I have tried booting into recovery or maybe plugging it into my pc but nothing worked, has anyone had experience with this and knows how to fix this?
