i never used my sd to internal or external sd, just put in my shield and work great in all other build like LOS and Omni, no must formated my sd in other rom.... just have this issue with this build so i reported this.
Shield k1 supported?

after this i'm back to Omnirom > no sd problem > LOS 15.1 > no problem, so no need to format it i think, all 5.2-5.3 rom > no problem, i've this message only with this rom, i've just reported it.

Sorry for dumb questions, just lazy to test my self by installing this then going back to other rom if needed.
What exactly does that mean?
Can we use youtube app to play video? Will it work?
If it will, will there be issues in 1080p playback?
Can we use vlc app to playback videos? Will they play but consume more power?

Youtube will work, videos can be laggy.
And yes it will consume more power because the CPU, not the GPU handles the playback.

I had sods on old CM11 (something about build 3-4)
google services drains me here on this PA

Make a backup!

Wipe data/factory reset if coming from stock or another ROM

To upgrade to a newer build, simply flash the zip. There's no need for data wipe or flashing Google Apps again. (However, if you are experiencing strange issues, you may want to try a wipe.)

I noticed one bug,not working auto-rotate,but when you return to the desktop,it flips,such Uc browser
P.s And it is better to use gapps from @Deltadroid,they are faster

It works on my 5113. Never could get it to flash with TWRP, changed to PhilZ recovery and it flashed without a hitch.
But how come the Cast Screen feature doesn't work on any lollipop or Marshmallow ROM I've tried?

I successfully flashed Bliss and Delta Gapps on my P5113 using TWRP 2.8.7.2 (following full wipe/format) without any issues or unusual delays.
As I'm new to both Bliss and Marshmallow, I've got lots of new functions and features to learn/test and will report any issues/questions here.

Whats that point of hardware decoding? I thought it would be something about video playing, but what does it have to do with spotify? I tested different HEVC video codecs and they're all working with the VLC app..

No i got it all confused. Spotify should work indeed. What I do find crazy is video, my lineage builds don't played any in MX and there's nothing changed in device files yet..

Okay, I know what you're talking about now. In Mx Player app from playstore, video files only play via Software Decoding. Hardware Decoding is not supported it says. I used test files from h265files.com btw. But I think HW decoding is not implemented anywhere in the device tree of our Shieldtablet, so it won't work until Steel01 implements it

I just flashed this and my front camera is not working. Actually, I have been flashing 5-6 different ROMs and all the front camera doesn't work. Previously I was on Lineage 16, front cam is working normally. Is my front cam broken or what?

Front camera works fine af along with front led. You should try checking on other roms as well. Or maybe try one more clean flash or something

I tried different ROMs,Resurrection remix,pixel experience, DOT etc all same issues. Every time flash will factory wipe. I'm at loss now. Not sure what to do next

Maybe you should flash fastboot stock Asus rom check your camera and then try custom roms

Do I have to relock bootloader and unroot my phone? Seems like a hassle and I'm quite busy these few days.

Your choice no need to lock bootloader just wipe data as well!

are you sure i can flash a stable official asus oreo from TWRP? Won't it brick or something. i'm reading the guide to unlock BL and unroot as I'm typing this. Maybe I just live with a broken front cam as I rarely take selfie :laugh:

People who are in urgent need of d2w ?. Edit the file root/proc/tpd_gesture change the value from 0 to 1. Though the value will be changed to 0 after a reboot. But it's a temporary solution. It will be fixed in the next update with May security patch!
