No app fc or sound bug uptil now. Just heating issues. The phone is heating up more than it used to in 5.0.
Also.. No theme support. Using the Omni switch makes the ROM a bit laggy and some other customisations from 5.0 are missing!!
But gud work dev. Please keep updating the ROM!!

Ohh.. I didn't checked the root part. There's no such option in developer settings though.
The OP should answer for this part!!

Have been using it for sometime now. ROM is good, fast and smooth. No sound issues whatsoever.
If you could only give an option to control vibration intensity, it would make this ROM perfect
Will report on the battery later after testing.
P.S : NO OverHeating Issues here. Don't worry you will be alright

Yep working flawless now
Can't get picture in picture to work though?

Great ROM! Very stable. Camera and media works.
However, mobile data connects 4G instead of LTE.

YouTube requires YouTube Red for PiP.
You can also try PiP in Google Maps navigation.

Call volume is very low can't hear anything until I switch to speaker. Any solution? other than that works great so far. Amazing job guys!

Using Raine's TWRP, it's the only one I can use that doesn't break touch screen.

Not starting
My mix does not start, it stays in the Google logo with a loading bar, it has been done for several many until I gave up.

Migrated from latest AICP. Firmware 8.1.25. Didnt install 8.1.4, just wiped everything and installed oreo with magisk. Thanks, finally a working oreo build for our device.

Flashing instructions:
1. First of all you need to be on stock oreo to have the proper files on your device.
2. Boot into twrp (fastboot boot "path to twrp img")
format data and wipe dalvik system and data on both slots.
Set active slot to B
reboot into bootloader and boot twrp again ( fastboot boot "path to twrp img")
copy ZIPs to device and flash ROM
Set active slot to A
Reboot, and wait for booting. It takes ~3 minutes
(Optional)
7.2 Root: Download Magisk & flash Magisk zip via Recovery

Instructions mention needing to be on stock Oreo, and a different comment here mentioned that you only need Hex if you're on Pie. I'll be reverting to Oreo in order to minimize the amount of possible mishaps.

I wanted a stable, fast and Pixel-like rom for Mi Pad 4, and thankfully using rcstar6696's snapdragon 660 vendor and kernel, I was able to port Official Pixel Experience for Mi 6X by CryllicBuster273 over to the Mi Pad 4.

- Removed Messages and Dialer as they are not needed on a tablet
- All the normal features found in a Pixel Experience rom

1. Take a full nandroid backup of all partitions just in case anything goes wrong!

5. Flash the rom

This rom is a port of official Pixel Experience for Mi 6X, this means it is more stable, it has all the features found in an official Pixel Experience rom and unlike all the other PE roms that don't get updated I'll be porting every single update. Also this rom contains face unlock and doesn't need magisk to pass safety net.

This is the AOSP version but I might port the Plus version in the future.

I have decided that since Mi Pad 4 already had a build of Pixel Experience I will port and update Pixel Experience Plus.
Edit: PE is more stable than PE Plus so for now I'll port from this but if there is enough demand I'll port PE Plus

Rom is quite good but it has a very high battery drain. It could be solved with Magisk and any kernel manager app and changing cpu's governor, which is set by default to performance.
P.s. sorry for my bad english

After installing, I'm stuck on the "G" loading screen and it won't progress. Any ideas?

In new build they will return, I removed them since I have a WiFi tablet but I'll bring them back for users like you.

Magnetic Flip cover not working on this rom. On PE 10 By mamarama9904 its working.
Its possible to invert buttons?

Could you also try to fix cpu governor? It causes a really high battery drain.

I am happy to announce, that I have successfully ported stable Oxygen OS to the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 and 4 Plus!:victory:
Using a custom OOS vendor I was able to fix bugs and bring this smooth and stable OS to our device.

1. Make sure your storage is not encrypted and you are using the correct firmware
2. Wipe Dalvik, Data, Cache, System and Vendor
3. Flash the rom zip
4. Reboot
5. IMPORTANT Install activity launcher, launch demo mode and disable always on ambient display or you will experience an issue with a black light in sleep mode. Also remember to hide notch in settings or your UI will look weird.
5. (Optional) Reboot to recovery and root with magisk
6. Enjoy OOS!!

PM me about the Shady stuff and I will remove it, I have never used a OnePlus device so I am unaware of this. Since this port is based on a GSI it may have already been removed but I'd rather be safe.
