Why don't you just filter out the sites via your router ..

It is clear I want to make a white-list of a few allowed sites to be used on a few tablets not physically in our offices.

Ohh that's great thank you, I ll make some researches about it.
By editing the host file, I could ban some sites & make the default sites allowed; is there an opposite way? i.e. block all the sites by default & allow a few..

I'm really getting a LOT of FC's when I'm using the XDA forum app...is anyone getting these?
Yes I had them too, I stopped using it.
It's because they havent updated the free version. The paid version has been upgraded and doesnt FC. Tapatalk is better though as it lets you use other forums as well, although not as cheap.
I do have tapatalk...but the only reason that I don't like it is that I can't figure out a way to go right to the XDA forum...I usually have to search, then choose it...etc...
?
anyway to get a direct click to XDA?

You just need to change the boolean from true to false in the one of settings databases. Google more and you'll find it. It's real easy. All you need is Root Explorer and SQLite Editor, or equivalent alternatives.

Well I donwloaded the file just to see the content and it seems to have two versions of augmented which I believe are paid apps. So posting this file (or link) is clearly against the xda policies. The other files are appwidget.apk, whatsappalerts.apk, watchnotifier, writer-email-1.apk, SMS-composer, Toggles, whereami.apk etc. I am not sure whether any of these are paid apps.
But I suggest the OP should remove the link. We are not pirates here Also to newcomers to the android world, I would not install any app from an unknown source. Only install apps which comes from a source you trust.
Yeah, I only d/l them from Play store (or some from amazon store). Posts like this one looks always more or less as a spam and suspicious.

Bought the SW2 Silicon band and been using it for 3 days now, but couldn't register for runtastic pro as they said the key in the box was already in use.
Emailed Sony CS but no reply yet. Is anyone not using their Runtastic key? I'd really like to try it out.

My problem is that the promotion code doesn't work and it says its been used before (which it hasn't).
Hello
How did u know that ur promotion code already been used ?
Check the runtastic.com/en/activate and enter ur code otherwise just email them and tell'em about ur issue

Because I went to the website and entered the code and the error message said the key had already been used. I've emailed Sony but got back a generic 'this is how to install Runtastic' reply.
Well there is something weird then i wish i can help and give u more info about it but u must contact Sony again and tell them about it or from where did u buy ur smartwatch 2 go and ask them
Have you tried the developer of runtastic. They might help you out if you explain your situation and maybe show some proof of purchase of watch?

Sent them an email and the automated reply points me to their 'new improved' help website where I can 'raise a ticket' if my query isn't answered. But there's no way to raise a query, as far as I can tell....

I did not use my key and if I can find it I can send it to you. I am not planning to use it anyway. But that is a big IF because I can't remember where I placed the box.

Hi folks,
Anyone else having this problem? Posting is fine across other forums. I've opened a thread on the Tapatalk forums, but no one's there
I'm having that problem to.. I can't post on xda with Tapatalk or even read my private messages. Something is broken.
but I can not see the threads subscribed to the dedicated tab
Bingo. Been getting the same error message since yesterday. You don't have permission to access this page. When I attempt to post using Tapatalk.

Ditto here for XDA SMH! That's the main app that I use Tapa for like most of you I'm sure. It's a pain to type out an entire reply just for the app to say you don't have permission. The "no results" in my subscribed threads list had gotta be the most frustrating issue.
Perhaps XDAs database is too large for Tapa. All other forums I go to load everything rather fast. The few things that I currently can get to load via Tapa on XDA take a dramatical longer time to load up. I hope that I can even post this reply *fingers crossed*....
NOPE! Had to open the trust Chrome browser to even post this.

My thoughts exactly. I'm no it sure what a site has to do to maintain Tapatalk functionality but it's probably easier for site devs to focus on less platforms.

Make sense, but Tapatalk is much better than xda app.. I hope that's something temporarily.
