I know this sounds stupid to ask but does Xposed work on the s7 T-Mobile version. I know we lack in the bootloader category. But can it be done with flashfire ?

Can someone pull and upload the galaxy_labs_apk. Thanks in advanced!
Right now I believe the only people who have the phone is the one guy in Finland and T-Mobile customers, and T-Mobile removed Labs.

I haven't seen it on my phone, then again I didn't really look. Let me see if I can find it and pull the apk for you.
Edit: There's definitely not Galaxy Labs on my T-Mobile S7E, what exactly does it contain? I'm assuming it's experimental features, or something similar. This is my first Samsung phone in years, so I haven't kept up with all of their stuff.
I would appreciate this as well. It's not available on Sprint either...
I get my international edge version next friday so if knowone has posted the apk i will see if i can post it as the model i get has this function

It's in the priv-app folder of that zip. So it probably won't install until without root. Maybe someone can make an update file to do in Stock recovery.

Do you, or does anyone know why some variants have it while others don't? I can confirm the T-Mobile one does not, so I would like to have experimental 'features' just to mess with in case I'm bored.

Tmobile probably disables it. Now that I know where it is ill ask the guy with the other version. It could probably be brought back with root either with an sql edit or putting it in priv-app.

To answer a couple questions without quoting - as far as I've seen, every stupid US carrier has disabled Labs for no reason. It's ridiculous. I'd love to get it back. Hopefully someone can find a way to install it.

Nope.
There's a thread in the AT&T s6 forum though with a tethered root for OJ/Ok. You could check with them to see if it works with Verizon, but last I checked, no dice.

You could install a Rom with the hotspot enabled. If you need more help ask, yet your surely find your answers with a bit more reading in this Note 5 forum.

Could you explain how you edited the CSC files I'd appreciate your input M8 thank you.
Edit APN works via this method (this is from a Note 4 forum but should work on all Android devices as long as you're rooted).

I don't see this hack getting blocked anytime soon.

Yeah thanks for that link. The only ways I found before learning the editing of CSC files was using some ADB commands in shell to get it to work. Besides a custom rom was the fastest, convenient way to enable the hotspot.
"only way you found". Ummm did U check the link? This was super easy. Easier than ADB. Custom ROM is fastest unless you want stock rROM. Besides there aren't many options for Note 5. The one I tried kept soft bricking my phone. In any case so happy I found a solution.

Yes, I checked out the link. ADB was as easy as copying and pasting, yet I like the editing of the CSC files. Through the ADB method you don't need to root 100% stock rom with working Samsung pay.
To clarify ADB is not the only way to enable Hotspot. Changing CSC file is another way.
