It can be flashed in Stock ROM?

Yes it can be flashed with stock rom. You need to flash it with flashfire though.

To use flashfire you will need to be rooted

Did you factory reset after updating?
Flash a stock rooted ROM and you should be good to go.

Any one try this Note 5 Nougat Trick?

It's not available for T-Mobile yet. Don't do this or you risk bricking your device

Jody breeze is right. The only why this would work is if we had a nougat kernel for the tmobile note5. Unfortunately we don't have one. Another issue is that the bootloader is from a different country and would probably brick our phone if we flash it with odin.

On Magisk rooted Sprint Note 5 Nougat, how do I enable hotspot?

How do I either edit the APN settings or enable hotspot on my Magisk rooted Sprint Note 5 Nougat?

You could install a Rom with the hotspot enabled. If you need more help ask, yet your surely find your answers with a bit more reading in this Note 5 forum.

Could you explain how you edited the CSC files I'd appreciate your input M8 thank you.
Edit APN works via this method (this is from a Note 4 forum but should work on all Android devices as long as you're rooted).

I don't see this hack getting blocked anytime soon.

Yeah thanks for that link. The only ways I found before learning the editing of CSC files was using some ADB commands in shell to get it to work. Besides a custom rom was the fastest, convenient way to enable the hotspot.
"only way you found". Ummm did U check the link? This was super easy. Easier than ADB. Custom ROM is fastest unless you want stock rROM. Besides there aren't many options for Note 5. The one I tried kept soft bricking my phone. In any case so happy I found a solution.

Yes, I checked out the link. ADB was as easy as copying and pasting, yet I like the editing of the CSC files. Through the ADB method you don't need to root 100% stock rom with working Samsung pay.
To clarify ADB is not the only way to enable Hotspot. Changing CSC file is another way.

Can anyone please explain what edits to make to what files? I've been looking around the CSC files and can't find any APN settings.

Xposed

I know this sounds stupid to ask but does Xposed work on the s7 T-Mobile version. I know we lack in the bootloader category. But can it be done with flashfire ?
