PX3 head unit google problem - MTCD Android Head Units Q&A

Anybody has this issue? How can i solve this. I couldn't connect to Google play or other services.

re:
These units do not come with GMS, they are pure AoSP.
Basically the head-units are not certified with Google Mobile Services.

Need advise publishing android app and getting paid

Thanks.

Selling apps on Google Play Store for developers from "unsupported countries"

Selling apps on Google Play Store for developers from "unsupported countries"
Hi,
I would like to ask if anyone knows some companies that offer possibility of selling apps on Google Play Store on a behalf of a developer whose country is not supported by Google's Play Merchant system. Basically, the agents/companies should offer opening accounts on Google Play on a behalf of a developer.
Thanks.

App Store & Play Store Statistics

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know of any software or service that can provide app statistics for Google and Apple in one place? Ideally something which has a REST API so I can query the data easily.
Thanks in advance.

Are there smartphones that are more secure and more private than "normal" phones?

Are there smartphones being more secure than others?
For example, smartphones that are very (or completely) open source including the hardware.
Smartphones that allow access to the GSM/GPRS/3G/4G/LTE system in debug mode.
Smartphones without Google Apps, with MicroG instead - that already exists, a Custom ROM without GAPPS with MicroG - I like it.
With regards to security smartphones ( what are nothing else than a conglomerate of metal, plastic, glass, chips, circuit boards, etc.pp ) don't differ.
Google's Android OS by default is Open Source: Hence everyone can modify it, will say take it as a base to create a Custom ROM when deemed to be necessary. The drivers - the software that lets the OS and a device's hardware components communicate with each other - mostly aren't Open Source. The built-in hardware never will be Open Source.
If you think you want to run an Android based smartphone without GApps ( the bundle of apps and services provided by Google like Google Play Store, Google+, Google Books, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube and others, what all aren't Open Source ) you can of course do so.
BTW: The microG project is "a free software clone of Google's proprietary core libraries and applications". To be more specific, it is a FLOSS (Free / Libre Open Source Software) box that allows apps designed for Google Play Services to run on Android systems where Google Play Services is unavailable.

Android Automotive OS and Google Mobile Services

Hello All
This question is about the Android Automotive OS (AAOS) but, since I believe that the answer applied to the regular mobile Android would also work for the automotive version, I'll ask it here.
I'm dealing with a project focused on AAOS and one of its requirements is to be able to provide for the developers' access to the Google APIs contained in the GMS, or GAS in the automotive world.
The problem I'm facing is that the platform owner does not want to go through the process of Google Approval, which forbids him from using GAS.
Since rebuilding all the APPs isn't a solution that we are looking forward to, I would like to ask if there is any other solution to access Google APIs legally. Is there another partner that makes it easier to integrate these APIs? Are there legal limitations that forbid me from using other Google APIs providers, if any exists?
Thank you all in advance!
