It does to a certain version. In fact I went to sammobile and downloaded the latest S8 SExperience and it ran fine! It’s just an apk for the Samsung experience launcher!

I think it's the most updated nougat? I use the ZTO version .... where do I find this apk?
I installed Samsung Experience Home today after an update of about 150MB. It installed successfully but it only worked for a couple of minutes before it started force closing constantly and I had to install another launcher to use my phone. Problem is I don't know how to get back to old launcher which worked. Any ideas?

Have you found a solution? I'm in your situation too!

I'm currently testing Swype on my X10.
I've tried v1.56 and it works perfectly.
v1.60 however keeps on crashing, even after removing the older version and restarting the phone.
Has anyone succesfully installed and used v1.60 on the X10?
Does 1.60 bring any noteworthy improvements?
When did 1.6 come out never got a update for it with my beta version?
Seems to be working ok here. No fc's yet. Maybe try a reinstall!
1.60 didnt work for me either. strange though that it isnt even available officially through the beta programme. I went back to my official 1.56 version as 1.60 just kept force closing.
The 1.60 also keeps crashing on my X10
Would be nice to know, if anyone else running rooted .24 firmware experiences the crashes?
just as an fyi i'm running rooted .23

why is that weird? It crashes on mine too.
Thing is I have to wonder where this version came from because its not available as an official beta.

It's in beta stage, not available to the public yet, unless someone post a download like for us all or you can apply to become a beta test. I did

Hey guys! Anyone gotten a recent firmware update?
Been using my Note 10.1 for 2 weeks now. I'm rooted (but on stock ROM) so I know I couldn't install the update.
Currently with a HK set with build N8000ZSALG7 (baseband N8000XXLGA)
Technically if I wanna apply the update, I would have to flash stock recovery? I downloaded it off zedomax's tutorial. Its the same for any region right? *Noob alert
Appreciate any help! Thanks!

Ok I flashed the stock recovery and updated the firmware successfully.
Bad news is its not JB (duh). The good news is it brings a few small improvements we saw in the recent India JB leak.
First and foremost, the irritating keyboard pop up upon exiting an app opened from a folder on homescreen is gone!!
And I found some small changes to s note
- s note widget is now added
- scroll bar in s note (but no more collapsing of the toolbars for fullscreen! Horrid)
- new book covers
- new landscape note
Unfortunately, the new split screens hasn't been included and mini apps stay the same. Bummer. Also, no airplay for the s pen in gallery and video player.
Other than these, I haven't found anything else. More to come from Samsung I hope! Really wish they would bring back the fullscreen mode in s note though.
UPDATE: PDF import into S Note seems to work ok now
the whole GALAXY to NOTE about...counting down from 10 to 1.
Not showing a n uodate on my system?
what is the Android version before and after the update? 4.0.3 and 4.0.4 ?

Hi, what file did you download to get back to stock? Is it the 900+ mb file in sammobile? Care to share how you did, coz currently i am on a saudi arabia firmware and i want to change to an asian one, will changing firmware from dif country wipe my existing data/settings?
Thanks

Sorry for the late reply. I only rooted my Note using Zedomax's CWM method (Method 2 if im not wrong). Didnt flash any other roms as i wanted the chinese input keyboard found only in asian roms. I am not sure if you can just change firmware to another region. Most of the roms are based on the EU stock roms.
In order to update, I had to flash back the stock recovery (apparently available online and universal) since it was in CWM recovery after rooting. This will enable any official OTA update.
Any form of flashing rom will result in wiping of data/settings. You need to use titanium backup after rooting. Rooting (flashing CWM and SuperSU) will not cause any data wipe.
Hope that helps.

I got a gear fit and would like to sync the heart beat measurements with S Health.
I'm using the S5 S Health (ver 3.2.0.0014), but it's didnt have the heart beat funcion.
Does anyone succeed installing the 3.5 version of S Health? If yes, then does it contain this menu?

I believe that all S5 ported roms have shealth 3.5, if I remember correctly
Thanks for the update.
I don't want to use any ported rom. The latest official is good for me. I only want to update the S Health app.
(btw, if i'm correct, than the 3.5 is from the note 4 rom)

that is correct S5 and note 4 both have v3.5.
I'm also trying to get s health 3.5 from aptiode to work. I can get past the agreement and backup page but after that the app hangs with a black screen, is it because I'm using the stock rooted 4.4.2 bell Canada ROM. Does this require something in 4.4.4 to run?

I have the same problem - ROM 4.4.3, Note 3
One time the phone freezes and other time I receive meesage it cannot restore my data (even If I cleared all the data from previous S-H version).
Please share if you find the solution
I recently upgraded to the Nexus 5 two weeks ago, before this I was using a nexus 4.
When I first set up the custom ROM on the N5 (I don't think I bothered setting up the stock Lollipop, this may be a cause), the only options shown at the Restore page was from my Nexus 4 on the google servers.
The problem is, even after 2 weeks, setting up a new ROM only shows the Nexus 4, it looks like the Nexus 5 isn't backing up to the google servers (WiFi passwords and user dictionary etc), what's wrong?
My theory is that the backup only worked on the stock Lollipop ROM because if I remember clearly, when i stopped using stock on the N4, the backups never updated.

Could be the gapps package you flashed with the ROM. Try a newer or different one.

Flashed pa gapps, still no backup (I check by going google dashboard)
Mentioned in pa gapps thread, someone said it wasn't a gapps issue so, I'm not sure. Looks like BaNks has an issue with this too.
Could anyone get the latest Samsung Experience Home to go into landscape mode? Apparently we could now, but I'm still missing the setting in the homescreen settings area... Can someone help me?

I did that but still nothing...
Apparently it's a phased roll-out, and my firmware is still stuck on CRE1 since I have the unlocked model firmware, so I'll patiently just wait I guess
Would not work for me downloaded newest version just kept saying not Installed also tried adb install from command line and got install failed [-3001]
