[Q] sim unlock

I currently use an HTC Radar with t-mobile. I need a sim unlock to go to the Atrix. Help? Atrix is with att.

Depends if it is a Usa branded phone then yes..... Also the unlock times are quite long took me about 3 days to receive my unlock code..... Welcome to the forums the search bar is also extremely useful to find a answer without waiting for a reply.....

call ATT they legally have to unlock it if your account is in good standing. They are usually nice about it. I did it through their online chat. make sure you have the last 4 digits of the SSN of the account holder.

But seriously, I've known people who have had really good results with these sites. I've also known people who get burned with bogus codes or outright nothing at all, no support, no nothing. I'd just call AT&T...you at least KNOW that they have access to the information that you need.

Where is OEM Unlocking?

I have Developer option turned on but OEM unlocking doesn't show up. Help is appreciated. This is unlocked version.

It shows up fine in mine. UK unlocked version:

I am US unlocked version. I do not have that screen.

I have an SM-F700U1/DS (US unlocked) and also don't have it. I found this article, which isn't specific to the Z Flip, but I'm going to try waiting the 7 days and see if the option magically appears. I'm aware this thread has been dead for a few months so I'm curious if anyone got it to show up.

Those instructions do not work. Nothing I do will get OEM unlocking to show up.

Hello did it work after 7 days?

I have Korean Z Flip 5G and the option is there once the developer options is enabled. Maybe it's due to the differences between regions?

Security Code on Phone Packaging - Is there one? Solved

Just wanted to check in with other Poco X3 NFC owners. When I went to register the device with Xiaomi, I signed into my Mi Account, then to the registration page where there were 2 tabs: "Verify your phone purchase", which requires the imei code. The second tab is "Xiaomi Product Authentication", which requires a 20-digit security code. The code location is shown in this picture:

I searched my packaging for this scratch off label, but there isn't one, nor is there a security code anywhere on the packaging. One end of the box has the SN and 2 imei codes, as does the sticker on the back of the phone. But neither shows a security code.
I contact Xiaomi support and they responded that if the label isn't there, the product may not be genuine and then told me to contact the vendor, which was Bangg**d. I have and am waiting for their response.
My question to fellow Poco owners is, did you have this authentication label on your phone, or somewhere on the packaging?
I would appreciate your response, as at this point I don't know if the phone is genuine or not. Phone works fine.

After finally getting a straight answer from Xiaomi this question is answered. The 20-digit security code is for Power banks, the imei is for phones. So no, there is no security code required for the phone.

Hi guys
I am new at Android rooting... i have never did something like that, and now i wana ask if i can use my LG K51 with other country carrier?
i somehow did bootloader unlock by following this thread and now my phone is shows something like that in developer options (idk even if i'm in the right way by doing it)

If you want to unlock your SIM and you have completely cleared the dues to your provider, approach them for a way. If you have not paid off the phone, it is illegal to attempt to unlock the SIM and XDA is not the place for seeking help.

Question eSIM not working (Vodafone UK)

Whenever I try to activate an eSIM in my 7 Pro (using a fresh eSIM generated from Vodafone UK) I get an error of:
Subject code: 8.1.1
Reason code: 3.8
... utter crap - can't this phone even get the basics right?

Mine worked fine yesterday on Vodafone UK with my Pixel 7 Pro. Scanned the QR code from the pdf emailed to me and it activated immediately.

I've re-created the QRCode about 10 times now. Each time it fails to activate on the Pixel 7 Pro, but works perfectly on an Oppo Find X5 Pro

Have you tried to manually add it?
I imagine Vodafone will claim it's unsupported and be no help.

I want this phone, but I use 2 sims (1psim, 1esim) and my esim doesn't work. It's a dealbreaker for me

I have ee physical sim and vodafone E sim. Working perfectly. If you're having issues I'd imagine vodafone would be the best place to start

I think your previous eaim isn't clearly dwactivated from old device.

I have currently completely deleted esim from the old device. Tried again, still nothing. Do I have to wait some time? thx
