nice spec. !
go for it ...
16000INR = 290USD.
Thats pretty expensive for a rather mid spec device, considering the fact that cash flow on average is lower in India. But then again, electronics are expensive in India and other emerging markets.
I would contemplate having a friend from the states purchase a better tablet here for the same price and ship it to you there. Obviously, that may not be an option.
I would say that if the price is right, and you can't get any better for the price, go for it. It seems that it is serviceable.
actually i am getting it for $225 so now decide.... and i believe it is the best 10" tab available in my country at this time and at this price... more reviews would help.. still Thanks

Well what the hell? If it's the best tablet at your price point, what is the decision to make?
Simmtronics tab seems to have good quality and nice sales service
But i didn't find it in my country.

Which phones support HW decode of h265?

Since there are now phones that run the S805 and Exynos 5433. Which phones support hardware decode of h265 and HW+ ideally?
It should be phones really new. But you can play h265 with S/W

None. The final consumer standards regarding h265 specification for consumer hardware have not even been agreed upon, let alone chipmakers doing anything about it. Don't hold your breath for hardware-accelerated h265 anytime soon, especially on mobile.
For more information, you may want to skim through this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/mx-player/sticky-mx-player-10-bit-video-discussion-t2725241
Any update to this? I know the note 4,note 5 and galaxy s6 all play these files with h/w, but what about any others?

[Q] 1080p video on 1280x800 (quad core) tablets ?

So i need a new 10 inch tablet and i'd like not to strugle to play 1080p (that means 1920p width) video.
My old tablet (acer a500) had a 2-core cpu at 1Ghz and was not even able to play 720p that well. So assuming the new one will be quad core would it be able to decode 1080p video or not ?
And if yes will it be on HW or SW mode ? (MX player)
Or should i buy a 1920x1200 tablet just to be sure ??
Well...
You need a full HD tablet to play full HD videos which means the screen resoultin must be higher or equal to 1920x1080.
1280x800 is NOT full HD/1080p

Let me know what you guys think.

is there a supported devices list somewhere?

I've been using MXplayer for years now, on my tablets. I specifically chose Intel based ones, because then I could be sure hi10p could play in software mode at least.
Now that HVEC is getting more common, especially in anime fansubs, and Intel has abandoned the tablet/phone market, I need to switch to ARM based devices (edit, in case it's not clear: with hardware playback support). However, while the CPU specs state e.g. 1080p hvec at 8 and 10 bit decoding is supported, this is not the case for devices using this CPU, as the manufacturer needs to build in support for their version of Android. So unless one's buying a high end well know phone, it's a gamble whether or not a device will play back certain files.
For instance, I'm looking for a mid range phone, the Moto G5 Plus gets good reviews. The snap 625 cpu should be able to play 1080p h265 10bit anime files from what I gather, but I couldn't find any feedback if the Motorola G5 Plus actually supports those features of the cpu.
Is there anywhere a list to be found where users provide feedback on the results of their devices? I seem to recall I stumbled across such a list on the internet years ago, when h264 hi10p became popular, but I haven't had such luck with hvec support.

No, you may not get such lists in MX Player forum. Most of the recent devices come with the hevc 8bit support out of the box. but, 10-bit hevc is not supported natively in most of the lower midrange devices. You may have to use SW decoder on such devices.
