So I tried to install lineage os 15.1 on my galaxy s7. I succesfully installed twrp and after installing lineage os i was stucked on the boot screen for about 30 mins. then i decided to reboot my phone. After some troubleshooting and went to advanced wipe then i ticked "data" and then i think it said "resize" the exfta icon. (Read that on a forum). Now I try to access twrp but it is stuck on the bootscreen. I can acess the download mode but trying to install the stock firmware returns into an error from odin. (cm.bin and then it fails) So I cant access twrp, dont have an OS and I cant flash the stock firmware on my phone.....what can i do?

I need some help. In my attempt to root, everything was fine until I tried to flash a decrypted boot image from this post:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/development/root-root-mate-9-t3556590
I flashed the B138 boot image and everything seemed fine at first, but I have no access to internal storage, some apps are missing, and my fingerprints were all messed up.
All I need is a way to restore my phone. It's currently working right now, but I have no access to internal storage. When I connect my phone to my computer, and switch to MTP (file transfer) this is what I get:

Could you try to perform the process over again? I was able to get my to work successfully. *Would you like my instructions?

Don't play with your imei bro!?
Try with dload method and full firmware.
Otherwise you have to go to a supportcenter!
if fastboot is working then try to flash another twrp. there are a few different - i have had the same problems. try the 3.1.1.0 version kirin-edition. sorry i dont have the link but you can find it here its about 24-24 MB , dont flash the one which is about 30MB . hope that helps
I downloaded the stock firmware using samFirm (SM-G955U_1_20171109014653_2ogkg8tvgx_fac) and extracted the files. I flashed the files with Odin and everything went fine, the phone rebooted and went to the updating firmware screen, after a couple minutes it threw an error and rebooted. Now the phone boots up to the verizon screen and sits there loading. What's the best way to proceed?
So this is the error:

So this is the error:
Click to collapse
Maybe try using the most recent update.
Download firmware form updato.
The permission error is on a folder that's on the "data" partition. I'm pretty sure if you wipe data/cache from recovery you'll be good. Maybe try to wipe data/cache and then reinstall the FW through ODIN.

You need to follow some steps
1.donwload and Install twrp recovery info about how can install Twrp recovery you find in this link
https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-install-twrp/
2.donwload supersu in zip
Link:http://www.supersu.com/download (recommend the latest version)
3.turn your phone in recover mod (volume up +volum down )
4.install supersu in zip via Twrp recovery
5. Restart your phone this process (is automatically made by the phone)
6.and now kernel is not enforced
Remember
you should know that this process takes you 100 mega to your phone and most important you need to root your phone ,if you don't know how ??? I upload link to learn how can root my phone
Link :https://www.xda-developers.com/root/
I've been using a SM-G930FD(India).
While updating to a newer release of Oreo my phone stopped booting successfully and was stuck on the Galaxy S7 logo.
Since the recovery mode was inaccessible(Installing software update screen came up while trying to access recovery mode, followed by error and reboot),
I flashed the version of firmware I was upgrading to via Odin v3.13(stock firmware from Sammobile),
but the phone still does not boot(still gets stuck on GS7 logo.)
Recovery Mode is accessible now, with a long list of errors.
I tried Wiping Cache and did a factory reset too, doesn't help.
Someone please help.
Sorry if the language is not precise and short.
P.S. While accessing recovery mode, it shows the same Installing update screen with error and fallen android bot, but recovery mode is accessible now.
I am attaching a screenshot of the recovery mode errors.
