I need some help. In my attempt to root, everything was fine until I tried to flash a decrypted boot image from this post:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/development/root-root-mate-9-t3556590
I flashed the B138 boot image and everything seemed fine at first, but I have no access to internal storage, some apps are missing, and my fingerprints were all messed up.
All I need is a way to restore my phone. It's currently working right now, but I have no access to internal storage. When I connect my phone to my computer, and switch to MTP (file transfer) this is what I get:

Could you try to perform the process over again? I was able to get my to work successfully. *Would you like my instructions?

I use my phone on Wifi only until I can get another phone that I can unlock the bootloader and every time I start/restart phone I have to deal with this stupid notification and hit OK. Was wondering if there might be something I can either Freeze with Titanium or a file to edit that will remove this?

Give this a try, use Tibu to freeze "Setup wizard 1.0" then reboot phone.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, but for some reason I thought when you created a post that it auto-subscribed ya to it and just figured I didn't get any responses... anyway... that did the trick! Thank you very much... that was annoying me beyond belief.

So I was going to post some screen shots but it has my email address etc that I don't want public. But I noticed that my backup account (settings->backup and reset->backup account) was not the same email as my Samsung account so I changed that. I also went to settings->accounts->samsung->[email address]) and none of the options were turned on.
Hope this help!

So I tried to install lineage os 15.1 on my galaxy s7. I succesfully installed twrp and after installing lineage os i was stucked on the boot screen for about 30 mins. then i decided to reboot my phone. After some troubleshooting and went to advanced wipe then i ticked "data" and then i think it said "resize" the exfta icon. (Read that on a forum). Now I try to access twrp but it is stuck on the bootscreen. I can acess the download mode but trying to install the stock firmware returns into an error from odin. (cm.bin and then it fails) So I cant access twrp, dont have an OS and I cant flash the stock firmware on my phone.....what can i do?

try a different firmware.
what firmware were you on when you flashed TWRP. download latest firmware for g930f and flash that.
Hi guys,
I'd need help with something that I can't do.
I made a backup, I took the folder and I put it on a USB.

Inside of this folder I see this
Now, I tried to restore everything from the USB and from HiSuite but it doesn't find it.
Do you know if there's a solution?
It's especially to restore my pictures and settings.

I don't know why, I post the link of the hosted images but it doesn't appear
I can't see the attactment files. If the data you taken backup on your USB drive can be opened. Try to restore it on computer by using a third-party program like Coolmuster Android Backup Manager. And it's free backup function can also help you take backup of your Huawei phone to computer directly. Just have a try. Hope it will help you.
I have compiled a quick guide (based on various contributors) on how to decrypt the HiSuite encrypted folders in this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=83719287&postcount=19
So, I can't flash back to stock with my Metro G Stylus - I attempted and I get a fastboot error trying to write to single partition
Fastboot reports after trying to flash with RSA tool below...
No Bootable A/B slot
Failed to boot Linux, and then falls back to fastboot.
Here's my phone

And RSA is NOT actually helpful in this case.
I think I need to "undo what I did to get Root", except for locking the bootloader. But, I got a bootloop now, so...... how?
Standard recovery, and fastboot works as well.
Anyone got any idea? I gotta return this device, but it *only* needs to be able to turn on and boot, I believe.
