Screen freezing - Honor 9i Questions & Answers

I've been using the phone for 2 months. My problem is that my screen freezes after some calls . Then I have to restart the phone. I find the touch sensitivity also reduced in certain times. I'm not getting the vibe of 4gb ram device with this handset. Any solutions??

I am going to get 8X but !!

plz anyone knows about 8x shutting down problem ?!
i red many posts about it suddenly shutdown several times !!
could any one tell me about if this problem exist or has any fix ??!!!
I'm using a carrier-free 8x since April. After the GDR2 update (which supposedly causes huge problems and was pulled) there are no issues with the phone. It may occasionally lock up and reboot, but the frequency of this happening is about the same as for Android - about every 2-4 weeks.
Before GDR2 the phone would typically reboot every 1-2 weeks. But in any case, it doesn't lock up when not in use, the problem only appears under heavy usage so it's unlikely the phone will shut down silently in your pocket and prevent you from receiving calls.

This sometimes happens when the ram of the phone is almost consumed by the apps.
A simple reboot might solve the problem.
P.S. Do reboot your phone once in about 2 days, as it clears the data stored in ram and make sure that the phone functions smoothly.

Alcatel One touch pixi getting completely useless

Hello everyone,
My brother have an Alcatel one touch pixi 4007D running on android 2.3. It is a low end phone with the following specs:-
1 Ghz cpu , 256 mb RAM , 2 MP camera , dual sim support and so on.
The problem is that I can't use the device now for anything. The device is getting laggy just by using an app for a few time. Also, when I browse or use hotspot in it for about just 10 min it gets heated up and will shutdown automatically. To cool it again I have to wait an hour by taking of it's battery.
The specs of this device is moreover same as that of a Galaxy Y which works quite fine.
The device is now completely useless. Please help and thanks in advance.
When I used CPU Z on the device and I saw that the core of the device is stopped. This is stopped on every time I checked. Can this be the reason for the problem?

[Completed] XOLO black heating and hanging problem

Hi ,
I have xolo black but m facing a some problem like its heating while charging, playing and connected to internet as well
and its hanging too much ...pls guys tell me what to do ...
Hi,
I suggest using an app like this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.easyx.coolermaster&hl=en (Not tested, but reviews seem good).
The Xolo Black has many complaints about overheating when using the device. It's snapdragon 610 (If I am not mistaking) is a beast of a CPU, but very bad thermal control, causing it to overheat.
I'd suggest noting down the moments when the phone gets hot, writing down what you are doing at that exact time, see if it's the same app(s) causing it to overheat and try do something about it (uninstall/clean/find an app to control it's CPU power).

Does over using a phone cause significant hardware degradation?

I have a LYF Wind 7 with a 1.3 GhZ Quad core snapdragon 210 and 2 GB RAM. The phone was snappy and slick when I got it. But now after 1.5 years, it has become so laggy that it's become impossible to use it. Whenever I open dialler, it takes 5-10 seconds. The back button responds 10 seconds later while inside WhatsApp or any other app. Even after factory reset, it runs fast for a day, but returns to being laggy. The firmware is the latest version. Tried force stopping all apps with greenify but nothing works. Internal memory is 3 GB free.
Now my confession is, I have overused the phone. I have often used the phone's hotspot with Jio as my primary data connection. Now is it possible that a phone's hardware can degrade this way? I'm planning to buy the Zenfone Max Pro M1 but will it get laggy like this phone if I overuse it by using it as hotspot?
