S8 ACTIVE Substratum - prjkt.io

To whom it may concern.
I Recently picked up a Galaxy S8 Active and tried to install substratum to find that it only gives a system UI force close upon reboot when Itried to apply a theme even when the theme said it was successfully built with no problems.
Any solutions? No support for the s8 ACTIVE?
Thank you in advance

I am running this, on my Galaxy A3.
The only mandatory thing for Good Lock seems to be Marshmallow and TouchWiz.

Well I didnt like it because it messes with my already customized status bar and etc. But the app is good for those who are not as picky as me
It takes a while to get used to it.
It's new so probably they are improving it.

Just installed apk, tested, and unninstaled, no problem at all.

Samsung touchwiz rom error

Hello everyone
When I install XPOSED on my Samsung Mobile (J5 Prime) I enter the XPOSED Installer Application and I see that it has this in green and it points to everything is OK but I get a message below saying that I have SAMSUNG TouchWiz ROM and that it can not work Properly or can lead to severe problems.
Use Wanam xposed framework for touchwiz roms.

I believe it's just a warning for people trying to use it on non touchwiz ROMs, you have touchwiz so it's not talking to you.

I just have 2 questions:
- Is this version work with exynos processor?
- do i need to enable this app using adb commend? And install any other app? Or just install this apk and set it as default, because it crashed on me.
Edit: it works fine now after setting it as default, and no need to do any thing, juat install the apk and set it as default. Done.
Thanks
Wish the notification dots/badges worked on this one......

That fact alone had me passing to even try this version. I'll wait for the official update to Android Pie, I'm in no hurry.
For notification dots just go to notification access setting and allow the permission for the new launcher. It will work.
hi,
Samsung Experience Home 10 v10.0.0.61 was released.
Unfortunatelly, it doesn;t work for Android Oreo 8.0.
Can it be done something to be able to install it as previous version v.10.0.0.55?
Thanks.
I faced a bug after sideload Samsung Experience 10 launcher
Downloaded Experience 10 launcher for my Samsung S9+, after setting it to my default launcher, it worked for me but i faced a bug, the notification dots for apps not showing up. Rest the overall experience of using it was good.
sideloaded it from here: https://apkfeats.com/samsung-experience-10-launcher-v10-0-00-51-apk/
After install....is it like a normal app? Can I uninstall it like a normal app?

Clear cache and data of that app and set it as your default launcher. That should fix the problem.

*Edit*Free Substratum dark theme that works on stock Nov_BTS.

*EDIT* I don't know why it wasn't working for me before but now I have 95% working Substratum on stock including play store and most of my paid themes.
You must be rooted! I am on latest @aer0zer0's november all-in-one-BTS( can be found here on xda)
Latest Substratum ver.1010
Theme from fdroid DarkCroc Theme (A dark Substratum theme targeting Android 9+) - https://f-droid.org/app/de.spiritcroc.darkcroc.substratum
So if this theme is applied can you still update via ota? I know you would loose root at best.

You can disable Substratum themes before you start the process and re-enable after. Substratum doesn't effect root or ota.
1 download ota and stock_twrp_magisk_boot.img /
2 reboot bootloader /
3 reboot recovery /
4 flash ota /
5 press home /
6 flash stock_twrp_magisk_boot.img
7 reboot system

Build all modules than reboot and enable. Sometimes it take several reboots and you may need to switch from dark to lite mode or vise versa under Settings / display / advanced. Hope that this helps.

Thanks for the reply.
So, everything works ok it's just the Settings UI and Notifications that seem to switch on and off at random, everything else is ok.
Could this be a Google Pixel 3 specific issue? Reboots did help when initially installing. Just cant get the black Settings UI to stay.

Lol I thought you were talking about a theme when you said Pixel 3. This is a thread for the essential phone and I have no idea what's going on with your Pixel. Sorry maybe your right and it is a device specific bug?

Help with Substratum please?

Hi,
Really frustrated trying to make Substratum and Swift Black to theme my system and apps. Running Resurrection ReMix Pie on G930F with (verified) root. Tried Swift Black, Nano, Blue Dragoon and several others, using different options in choice of Android....NOTHING works. I've used Swift Black several times over so am familiar with cleaning, building, enabling, rebooting... But admit this time I'm stuck.
Any help will be very gratefully received.
Logcat link below (apologies if this doesn't work, I've always been able to solve before so never uploaded link before.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi, your reply is honestly appreciated, but 'dark' is not what I'm after. I will use it if I can't solve this, thank you, but you know what that say... Once you go black...... ??
According to your log you are trying to install a android 8.1 theme on android 9. I use swift minimal for 3rd party apps. For system theme i use night mode ( there is a qs tile for it) but i have the s9 so dont know if it is available in a custom rom
