You have to install the Nougat Stock ROM so that it does not give you a fault and then follow the installation steps

Installation Instructions (Important to follow them to the letter)
1º Let's put the ROM and the Magisk v15.3 in the internal memory or in the SD
2º Boot the recovery recovery-3.1.1-1-deadman.img with the command fastboot boot recovery-3.1.1-1-deadman.img
3º We go to Wipe and do a Factory Reset
4º Let's go to Install and install the ROM
5ºCWhen we finish we go to the main menu, then to Reboot and finally restart in Bootloader Mode
6º We return to boot the recovery recovery-3.1.1-1-deadman.img with the command fastboot boot recovery-3.1.1-1-deadman.img
7º We are going to Install and install the Magisk v15.3
8ºCWhen we finish we go to the main menu, then to Reboot and finally restart in Bootloader Mode
9º We return to Boot the recovery recovery-3.1.1-1-deadman.img with the command fastboot boot recovery-3.1.1-1-deadman.img
10º Install the gapps in the Install menu
11th When finished we go to the main menu, then to Reboot and finally restart in Bootloader Mode
12º Boot the recovery oreo_3.2.2_recovery.img with the command fastboot boot oreo_3.2.2_recovery.img
13ºWe go to Wipe and we do a Format Data
14ºCWhen we finish we go to Reboot and finally System to restart the System
15ºWe give you a little time and you will have Lineage OS 14.1
16º If you want to have Root, you just need to install the Magisk Manager v5.6.0 apk that you can download here:https://******************/

Installation Gcam in AICP
1º We download the fix of this link
2ºWe put it in the internal memory of the phone and boot the deadman TWRP with the command fastboot boot recovery-3.1.1-1-deadman.img
3º In the TWRP, we go to Install and finally install the .zip
4ºReinitiate the system and install the GCam that we want except the SHULSHADY that apk does not go

No i haven't but im sure they are using FPC fingerprint. They don't even know MiA1 has 2 FP drivers.

Check your FP version
Open terminal emulator
Type getprop | grep goodix
You should see sys.fp.goodix - 1 means you have goodix, 0 means FPC
so the ROM is stable ?
Download the rom and check the hashes with @IamJoker03 's build.

This rom is compiled by the same, and it is not fair to detract from the work and time lost by the author of the rom, I think you are wrong.
Moderators, please close and remove this thread. Javixto12(OP) stole @IamJoker03 's AICP build.
Check the attachments. MD5 of the two files are the same.
IamJoker03 is the original builder because you can see 'Joker' in kernel version. Also, he posted all the sources in the OP.

Even if the sources are the same, MD5 hash should be different because if Javixto12 built his rom in his computer, computer name(in kernel version) and build date would be different and it will make the MD5 hash a lot different.

Hw key lights don't light up
Everything else works fine. Just need to update your Google Play services app and you can restore apps via Google Backup (if you didn't already do it with Titanium Backup). Yes, rooting with Magisk works and some modules work as well such as Blobmojis among others.
Here are the steps to install it in your Mi A1 if you're coming from stock ROM
Or watch a video made by @GizmoFreak
Enable Developer options in Settings app
Check Enable OEM Unlocking
Reboot to fastboot mode
Unlock your bootloader
Install TWRP-fastboot only through fastboot boot command (Extract the .img file from the zip)
Flash CosmicDan's TWRP Installer through your current TWRP. Credits to @CosmicDan for his TWRP and @mohancm for official TWRP sources.
Reboot to TWRP recovery
Go to WIPE then ADVANCED then click FORMAT data. This will remove Encryption on your device and allows you to set new passwords when installing the GSI. Note that this will format your internal storage.
Treblelize through TWRP Tissot Manager (Go to advanced, click Tissot Manager and choose the repartition userdata option. Select singleboot option then click repartition)
Flash latest Vendor.img as VENDOR IMAGE
Flash A/B system Pie PR2 img as SYSTEM IMAGE (Extract the .img file from the zip) (special thanks to @dgadelha for the sGSI)
Flash POST-sGSI 1 tissot zip.
Flash POST-sGSI 2 tissot zip.
Flash a treble-compatible kernel (Moun, ProjectK,Velocity)(credits to @mountaser halak, @khusika, @kdragon)
Reboot to system.
Once booted, install the latest Play services linked above either via the Files app or via adb. This will fix the Pixel Setup and Google Backup issues as well as allows you access to the Play Store without problems.
You can now flash Magisk 17.3. This is the version that works properly with treble. Credits to @topjohnwu for Magisk.
Install the Data transfer tool APK update as well.
Special thanks to @erfanoabdi for porting the Pie A/B GSI.
Some features may seem to be broken but can actually be fixed with a few tweaks
USB MTP FIX
To enable USB MTP, enable Developer options in the About phone section of the Settings app by tapping the Build Number 4 times. Then look for the File Transfer option in the Dev options.
ENABLE NAV BAR GESTURES
To enable Nav Bar, I installed this nav bar enabler by @Hugwalk via Magisk.
After rebooting, go to Settings > System > Gesture and enable Swipe Up on Home Button to enable the Nav Bar Gestures.
SUBSTRATUM
Substratum is now much better for Pie.
Install the latest APK from this telegram channel and now all themes with Pie support can be installed.. Just reboot after building the themes and go into managers to enable the overlays you built.

Remove the spaces from the folder name and try... Works for me...
Camera has been fixed. Just adding some more fixes and we'll probably get fingerprint working too. I'll update the links later when done.

What is Flax ? Flax is a Twrp/Pbrp flashable zip. It will deodexed your rom and allow you to install Xposed Framework on your deice without bootloop.
It works with official Xposed and Xposed Magisk module.

It's just as good if not better no problems
I like the quickstep launcher more because of the swipe down for the notifications gesture etc. Pixel launcher doesn't provide that right?
Arrow ROM is really great and smooth!
If i came from pixel experience i just factory reset it then flash or need to flash again the chinese developer rom for a stable gcam?

Now you don't need to download separate zip for kernel, but you have to flash Magisk v17.3 zip after rom zip.

Flash just the vendor IMG, to vendor from twrp, but no it won't as long as you uncheck relock bootloader

any screenshots?
Is this the same vendor as in this thread (but it's only the vendor here), or are there any differences? (if this is any better/different, can I "upgrade" to it without wiping my existing phh-treble install?)

This is not a ROM, just a Vendor which lets you flash GSI ROMS. Therefore, no screenshots could be given.

It's not the same, he fixes a lot of things to make it stable now (as NFC or Camera). About your installation question, I don't know.

Good night my friend. I wonder if using this increases the possibility of being compatible with other Roms, or does it basically equal to TWRP treble and creator treble equal to what you have here on another topic? If the answer is that it increases the possibility of roms compatible, can I do the installation over the other version creator and twrp treble? Sorry the English.
To anyone wondering: I've managed to replace my existing vendor+kernel by flashing the zip and suprisingly I had to remove the pattern lock from my phone and re-add it because system ui just chrashed every time I entered my pattern. Note: I'm on AOSP Phh-treble 9.0 V109 (I know V110 is already out but I'm lazy..)
Also I had to reflash magisk but that's expected after a new boot img.

thank you so much for that vendor base. Everything seems to be ok, except one thing though : MTP does not work if i activate usb debugging. Is this vendor or gsi related ? btw i tried the four gsi you recommend in your original post, same behaviour. I'm on sm-a530f

I didn't get u , also why r u using old builds, always go with the latest which includes fixes

Thanks for the complement, issues related to mtp and usb debugging is because of magisk..... just report it to magisk developer with proper logs

It's just that I only checked the xda thread for phh treble and that still has v109 as the newest. (On github there is a v110 build) and I'm just lazy to upgrade, since this version is good for me.
About the thing, idk what you didn't get.

How reliable is it? Is there any major bugs? How is battery life compared to OEM firmware?

A CAF based, still in development ROM for K20/Mi9T Pro (FOD still not working)
1. ROM sources: https://github.com/ConquerOS

Installation as usual:
1. Wipe cache and data
2. Flash ROM (I also flash dm-verity at this point)
3. Reboot to system...then, reboot back to twrp.
4. Flash opengapps & magisk.
5. Reboot to system again.

Hi @Sbodezzi, I work for AFH and just stumbled on your post. I checked several of the files in the folder the OP linked to and they all seem to have multiple mirrors available. Can you elaborate as to which specific file you are trying to download so I can look into it? Thanks!
