Hello,
I just want to use AOD without battery percentage (on oreo).
Anybody have a solution ?
Thank you in advance.
Use substratum
Not I don't like impact on performance with sunstratum

With WP7 mango and all new APIs, I wonder if it is possible to make an instant ( 10 or 20 past seconds) battery consumption indicator, Or a sort of "Batterytool" like htc who can work when the screen is off, like we can found in android.
It could be very useful for making some test.
I'm not a developer but once again I want to thanks the community for their work.
Unfortunately the answer is it's not currently possible to get the battery level through code (through the approved APIs that is; Mango included). I think the best you can do is detect that the phone has transitioned to 'low power', but not e.g. a %.
You can see the current battery % in the battery Saver
which aplication can i use for monitor battery in % ?

You can't.
Only built in battery saver in settings.
for those of you subscribed to this thread and may have missed the other thread there is a solution for people who can sideload here.
works great and with live tile!
Hello guys
I recently installed Cyanogenmod 11 on my Xperia L and I noticed that the battery drains very fast compared to stock. I searched this problem and it appears to be a deep sleep issue, but i don't really found out how to solve it. My battery stats show a great consumption on Google Play services and Display, so I guess it fits the deep sleep problem. I tried disabling some services, but i don't really know which one since i am kinda noob at this.
If anybody could provide a clear and detailed solution, that would be great. Thank you.

Use the greenify app from playstore
I don't think that would solve much. I installed better battery stats and these are the ones causing battery drain:
Awake
Wifi On
Wifi Running
No Data Connection
No or unknown signal
All these have 100% at battery consumption. Greenify only allows me to put to hibernation apps like Facebook, Messenger or so.
So... any other ideas?

Come on cm12 the battery's much better over here!
Hi everyone,
I have been wondering and looking for a way to get real time battery charge/discharge rate in status bar. I was able to get this working in Cool Tool Pro before, but since 7.0 its not working as the estimation does not update properly. I tried to create a custom label and point the path /sys/class/devices/power/battery/current_now (which actually has values), but cool tool pro does not read them at all for some reason.
I am using stock kernel with Sony RIC and rest enabled.
Any ideas ?
Thanks
I just tried the same thing but it still doesn't work.
Annoying...
Hi, I'm using EMUI 5 on my Honor 8 (FRD-L04 so still noreo ) and was wondering if we still have to set apps to ignore battery optimization to get notifications. When I first got my phone I installed all the apps and set them to ignore battery optimizations so that I could get notifications but lately my battery life is pretty ****ty, especially since these apps ignore doze. So I'd like to know if people still have to set apps to ignore doze or does notifications work like they're supposed to after so many updates? Thanks!
By ignore battery optimization you mean enabling auto-start on each app? I haven't faced any battery life decrease with it enabled.

Not that one. Like inside settings there is a page called ignore battery optimizations which helps apps bypass doze.
Battery life on Android 10 is horrible. I'm still in it just because of the dark theme and the gestures.
I've already tried EVERYTHING that I can do without ADB and some ADB (disable some apps) ones.
Can anyone give me any tips to save battery without root?
Naptime, Arter kernel, servicely, limit background activity access.
I'm getting solid battery life., at least 6hr SOT
