All of the Kit Kat ROMs are still under development. Meaning that there WILL be problems. The best thing to do is to try to get a log and post it in the relevant thread so the developer/porter will be aware of the issue and can start taking steps to resolve it.

I think it's a shame that even pro users have to download some
custom codec to be able to have sound.
Free apps like VLC and BS player work perfect.
Please implement the custom codec.

I have the same issue on both instagram and path. Unfortunately no solution yet.

install the older version( 6.15.0 )of instagram and it will work, that's the temporary solution
