i'm wondering is it working?
i mean the thread tool?
i try to subscribe to couple of thread for easy to follow the upcoming but there is nothing inside my quick links under the subscried folder... nothings at all..

Yep, basically what the title says. Does anyone know how to Root the LG Motion or have any good guides? If so please let me know

google search "root my lg motion 4g" it should take you to a search results page including phandroid. the guide provided there and links to files actually found in xda are very easy to follow. once i had the files it took me 5 minutes to root my metro pcs motion

Did you try one click root software ? It is the easiest way to root.
You can check on youtube there is plenty of videos showing how to do, I cannot post any external link as I didn't reach 10 posts yet.
Also it might be better to check directly on the good section as this is a very specific question.

im looking at a video about auto rooting. will that work? and sorry about that man. still new to this site. will rooting delete anything from my phone?

All of the Kit Kat ROMs are still under development. Meaning that there WILL be problems. The best thing to do is to try to get a log and post it in the relevant thread so the developer/porter will be aware of the issue and can start taking steps to resolve it.

video tutorials are always much much better than the writtten ones much because the user can see the complete process instead of
reading it and it also avoids confusion while doing something messy.
