Sent from my LG-P920 using Tapatalk
It will be stuck there forever!
There is no solution yet to fix this problem... Now you can only send it in for repair or wait for a possible fix...

I've been in that situation twice, Flashing the update kdz through USB should fix it.
In any case, I could use the following information from someone in this situation: while in recovery, open an adb shell on the phone and type each of these:
Code:
echo "522 1" > /sys/kernel/kobject_lge_nvdata/static_nvdata_raw_read
cat /sys/kernel/kobject_lge_nvdata/static_nvdata_raw_read
echo "518 1" > /sys/kernel/kobject_lge_nvdata/static_nvdata_raw_read
cat /sys/kernel/kobject_lge_nvdata/static_nvdata_raw_read
echo "522 1" > /sys/kernel/kobject_lge_nvdata/dynamic_nvdata_raw_read
cat /sys/kernel/kobject_lge_nvdata/dynamic_nvdata_raw_read
echo "518 1" > /sys/kernel/kobject_lge_nvdata/dynamic_nvdata_raw_read
cat /sys/kernel/kobject_lge_nvdata/dynamic_nvdata_raw_read
I need the output of each of the "cat" commands.
It's impossible to use adb the phone only displays the updating firmware screen that's all... I can put it into recovery mode without battery and pressing power and up but flashing via LG update tool will get you back into the firmware update screen

Vol-up+Power is download mode, not recovery. Still, that's strange. The LG Update tool should have installed the stock recovery, which wipes everything on the phone (including boot flags). Have you tried booting with Vol-down+Power to enter recovery?
And if that doesn't work, have you tried the KDZ Updater tool?
If you hold volume down + power it will power on and off again if you release power after LG logo I get firmware update screen, which kdz updater tool works on O3D?

I think there is only one...
I tried loads if times before it almost worked everytime after U got that firmware update screen I never succeeded will have to call LG tomorrow to get it replaced, no programs like kdz upd fw or uptestex were successful in flashing any kdz... the official LG tool works but after flashing only the firmware update screen.

Yes, same here and i think for all that have this problem
Vol.down+Power etc... I tested ALL!! KDZ Updater, several times with LG Updater Tool etc... NO Chance!
Always the same and you cant get into adb shell...
So there is only one way: LG Repair Center
Or lets hope that a updater tool comes that works with our O3D...

Restore Stock cyanogenmod 14.1 opo | fix Bricks

Hi Guys,
I have a problem with my one plus one 64 GB. I flash the cyanogenmod 14.1. It works great until last week that suddenly it shut down and after that only black screen. I can´t go even to the fastboot mode. I search and found some simmilar problems
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/tool-oneplusrecovery-tool-v1-0-restore-t2991851
But this issue dosen´t work for me. I think it´s because the recovery tool works only with CM11 and I have the CM 14.1. I try to contact the support from One plus the use the same tool as I use (to my astonishment ). They told me that the bootloader is curropted and I have to send my phone.
I have to backup my Documents and Photos. So how can I do it? I think If I have the chance to put the opo in fastboot mode I can recover my data.
For any help I am thankful.
If u can got to fastboot just reflash COS13.1.2
If u dont know how to do it, there is a thread in the general section about it

Unfortunately yes. You will loose everything in phone. If the phone can get into fastboot mode by Vol up + power button then we can back up. Otherwise sorry you will loose everything.
I am from New Zealand. So we have a huge time difference. We will arrange a time work together. Happy to help you.

Yes that tooI, i know what happened. When it goes loop just press the vol up + and power button. It happens coz 9008 is only needed for flashing msimage.mbn then it will switch 9006. It is not switching to 9006 that's why it goes on loop. Just vol+ & pwr button. It will start flashing other files. It happened to me once.

MATE 7 L-09 bricked and dead

Hello
I have a Mate 7 L-09 and I am in the same situation of Sassan_Payehdar described in the his thread
Hi everyone,
I have a Huawei Mate 7 LT-09 16 gig, and I recently did these works:
1. The installed rom was android 6 B513.
2. I read a post in this forum (that is closed now) and updated it to B553 KingVIP Chinese through restoring nandroid TWRP backup.
3. After install I saw lots of bugs, so I wipe all partitions through advanced wipe in TWRP.
4. Then install marshmallow stock recovery using mobopx tool.
after that nothing works.
The USB drive just show hisuite CD-Rom and device not recognize for ADB Options in windows 7,8,8.1 and 10.
There is no recovery,
There is no option using combinations of the buttons vol+,Vol- and power.
I tried installing stock ROM through .app file and dload folder and still nothing works.
I tried Jtag and after lots of work, fastboot screen appears and reinstalling all versions of different recoveries and looks like the software is installing nowhere in neverland!, there is nothing!
I take my device to a technician and he said there is maybe no way to re-run the device. I really need help.
Apologize for poor English and thanks in advance help.

No bootloader, no recovery, no option using combinations of the buttons vol+,Vol- and power, no recognition by ADB on PC only huawei logo.
He tried Jtag to appear fastboot, but I never read anything about Jtag. Where can I find it and how to use it?
Sorry for my English.
Can somebody help me?
Thank you so much!!
Al
What happens when you enable your phone (after shutdown) with pressing power + volume up?
Also, what happens when you do the same but with power + volume down?
I would say that if it loads the logo you should be able to enter fastboot/recovery.
Focus on this first and what is your experience with using custom roms to give us an idea of what could be overlooked etc.
If you can load to fastboot and/or recovery let us know and we start from there.

Thank you very much for the answer......
Ok...
I can' t swich off the phone. When I press power off button it reboot and after a few seconds appears huawei logo and then nothing more happens.
When I try to press VOL- and power or VOL+ and power or any other combination of buttons it happens the same think written above: the phone reboot and after a few seconds appears huawei logo and stop.
I brought the phone to the huawei customer center and they told me it need to change motherboard to fix it but it is out of production. I brought it to two famous Chinese stores to fix phones here in Milano, but they couldn't do anything (so they said).
I would just like to retrieve the use of the phone. I saved all the data.
Thanks again for the help.

Not being able to to overcome the logo boot is unknown to me. Maybe the phone should still be able to be flashed!
I lack the knowledge, but to help out I share a link to someone having a similar issue. I will share the link at the end of this post.
If you are unable to connect to your phone and/or make it enter fastboot or recovery I have no idea if that means your phone is bricked.
For now, make sure you understand how to flash, boot, reset etc your phone, only to be sure you have tried all approaches.
Let us know if you did not succeed also so others can learn from this thread in the future

Good
now I am in this situation: I was able to install TWRP recovery for Marshmallow 3.0.2-0 Mate 7 by Mobopx v.2.1.
I chose this recovery beecause my last firmware was EMUI 4.0 (Marshmallow).
After I tried to apply this method: http://ministryofsolutions.com/2016...09tl10-bootloop-after-marshmallow-update.html, but it didn't work. After flashing I power on the phone and it try to boot (some times the animation start too for a bit) but then nothing. The phone reboot in recovery mode (this is a change compared to before).
Somebody has some ideas??
Thanks

Error Updating with Samsung SmartSwitch

My phone is screwed
I tried to flash a rom on my J327T and failed miserably. I was having trouble getting it to boot so I went to smart switch to do an emergency recovery and my usb dropped at the phone right in the middle! :crying:
Now it just says Unsupported device. Please tell me that I can just zero out the drive and input android code somehow and bring it back to life!?!?!? And If so, How? PLEASE!!!

What u have to do is hold power volume down and home until the downlaod screen appears and it will get ur screen off the error screeb with smart switch being the only option and to download mode. U then flash a factory firmware with regular odin. Jist the ap. I then got my phone back and running. Now the bigger question is how to downgrade to the rev1 from rev2? I ask oh and it gkes into download mode from the screen ur currently stuck on after it restarts twice while holding said buttons. Now u got to tinker a little to get odin the state device added. Simetimes it would add on the error screeb sometimes on the download screen. Ill try to find a link to the firmware i ised that worked for me. Metro?
thank you
Thanks for the tip!!!

For me, the best method to flash rom is using odin..not smart switch or anything else..

Xperia Xz premium not flashing

Hi guys, can someone help me:
first i had my xperia xz premium 1 sim, but i never got updates so i downloaded android 9 firmware and tried to flash using sony flashtool but as soon it ask to connect the phone i had a power outage, so everytime i tried after i get error
getvar: max download size, so i quit trying and i saw i could install a different rom thru twrp but i needed to unlock the bootloader so i did but after i did i got green pictures i didnt know this would happened so i looked for a solution and saw xperifix but sadly i dont have the money for it, so i tried finding another solution and found a drmfix that i could flash but then the phone stuck on logo, i did a full wipe but i think in this process i erased the os so i tried flashing a custom rom but still doesnt pass the logo. is it possible to put back the stock rom and make the camera work?
Fairly difficult to read and understand what your problem is. Right now I can't help you as it is impossible for me understand what the problem is. Maybe you should edit the text.
Use shorter sentences.
Use paragraphs.
Add screenshots if possible.
Use upper case characters where appropriate.

Have your tried:
Unplug USB
Press and Hold volume up
Press and Hold power
Wait for LED to glow blue
Release buttons
This should boot your into the bootloader from where you can try the flash twrp anew using fastboot.
