This is the so called "Forced encryption". You should flash TWRP instead and root by there. In the TWRP page, this is explained, it's a boot patch. The bad part is that you need to perform a factory reset, in order to apply this patch and successfully root the device. Might also be you are not using the right image.tar.md5 for the current firmware you are running. Check here: TWRP

Bricked Phone - rooted and then flashed TWRP

So basically I managed to brick my new S6. I rooted it by flashing the unibase with odin. The phone booted correctly and everything was fine. I then decided I needed a custom recovery. I used the application Flashify to flash the recovery. When the phone rebooted, it was stuck on the Samsung logo, with a red message at the stop saying "recovery is not seandroid". What do I do? I'm guessing I need to flash new files using odin but I don't know which - I'm on android 5.1.1 and my model number is SM-G920F. Any help would be appreciated.
In Odin install the .tar (or .tar.md5) files provided with TWRP (https://dl.twrp.me/zeroflte/twrp-2.8.7.2-zeroflte.img.tar.html) or PhilZ Touch Recovery (http://www.arter97.com/browse/exynos7420/recovery/11.0/g920fi/) made by arter97.
It is possible that installing TWRP again using Odin can cause the S6 going into another bootloop. My solution for that is to flash a kernel (like arter97's one or Adam Kernel) and then the phone should boot just fine.
Edit: If you will flash a custom kernel you will not need to root the phone again because these contain SuperSU and maybe Busybox.

Please help!!! I cannot root and install rom in G920i (G920IDVU3DOL5)

Hi,
I was trying to root my phone and install custom rom but i cant.
I have tried CF-auto root, and unibase v2 and also triedd to flash TWRP but no luck.
When i tired CF-autoroot, im stuck in Galaxy S6 powered by android screen with message saying Recovery is not seandroid and it bootloops continuously.
When i try with unibase v2 and i tried to flash TWRP and SU method, but i end up same as above. I cannot even flash TWRP(3.0.0.0 and 3.0.01 and older versions too)
One way i found to root is by using G920F version's CF-autoroot where i successfully rooted my phone and boots to homescreen. But i cannot flash TWRP or any other recovery using all methods(Flashify, Rashr, Flashfire and even TWRP manager). The same bootloop repeats when flashing.
Please help me in this issue, as i terribly want to root my phone since stock does not give me battery back up and i cant even get 2.30 hours SOT in it.
Thanks in advance.

[Completed] Unable to install CWM or Root Samsung Note 4 SM-N910H

Hi Guys
I believe you guys on here will be able to help. Let me first tell you about my device and what I want to do and then what I did and what problems I encountered.
Device: Samsung Note 4 International Model SM-N910H (Exynos CPU)
OS: 6.0.1
Build Number: MMB29K.N910HXXU2DPE2
I only want to root my device and install Custom Recovery like CWM. I don't want to install a Custom ROM!
So I downloaded CF-Auto-Root-tre3g-tre3gxx-smn910h.tar.md5 and used Odin 3.12 to flash tar file to phone. After that phone rebooted and got stuck into the "Samsung Galaxy Note 4" Screen displaying in red letters on top left Corner "Recovery is not seandroid enforcing"
So I downloaded CWM Recovery v6.0.3.6.tar and flashed with Odin again, this time the phone rebooted back into my Working Phone OS and all seems fine. SO I wanted to test if CWM is installed? Powered phone down and booted into recovery & then got the same "Recovery is not seandroid enforcing" message on screen, so rebooted phone normally and it goes back into the OS. Also SuperU is not installed and phone is not rooted
So how do I solve this issue getting a Custom Recovery on my Phone Since I don't have any Recovery Mode option when booting into recovery. Your help, effort and time will be appreciated

Rooted >> Failed Xposed installation >> Stock Firmware >> Cannot Root Again

Rooted >> Failed Xposed installation >> Stock Firmware >> Cannot Root Again
Greetings!
I have a Samsung S7 Edge from a local carrier and I immediately rooted it successfully using Odin+CF Auto-Root. But lo and behold, after a couple of weeks I wanted to try our Xposed so I searched got some files and tried doing it. I was "able" to flash the install file using TWRP and then my nightmare started.
Bootloop after bootloop and I kept on seeing the "Recovery is not seandroid enforcing" error on top. I was helpless.
Good thing i chanced upon a blog from Sammobile and it had stock firmware from my carrier. Downloaded it and flashed through Odin. BUT i only flashed the AP file and not the other files (CSC_HOME, BL, etc.) that came with the whole zipfile from sammobile and it got my phone working again.
I tried rooting again using CF Auto-Root through Odin 3.12.3, like what I initially did before but after rooting the dreaded error of "Recovery is not seandroid enforcing" appeared again and bootloop phases soon followed. I tried several times (after flashing stock rom and trying root) but the same result.
Right now my phone is okay but unrooted.
Any suggestion on what I can do now to root?
Was it wrong for me to just flash the AP file instead of the whole 5 files when I went back to stock firmware?
I have Odin 3.12.3 and CF-Auto-Root-hero2lte-hero2ltexx-smg935f.tar to root my Samsung S7 Edge (G-935F)
Thanks in advance mates! Cheers!
Help please. Anyone?

Can not root Galaxy s6 920F. Please help!

I have been trying to root my S6 920F with Odin and I am experiencing a weird problem.
I turned on developer options, downloaded Odin and followed the instructions to try to root it with TWRP. Odini tells me that I completed TWRP process successfully, but when I try to go into it by doing the up+home+power, it just goes into regular Android Recovery screen. Not TWRP.
What am I doing wrong? Please help. I desperately need to install version 8 for work, or I will loose access to some important features that I need.
