Rooted >> Failed Xposed installation >> Stock Firmware >> Cannot Root Again
Greetings!
I have a Samsung S7 Edge from a local carrier and I immediately rooted it successfully using Odin+CF Auto-Root. But lo and behold, after a couple of weeks I wanted to try our Xposed so I searched got some files and tried doing it. I was "able" to flash the install file using TWRP and then my nightmare started.
Bootloop after bootloop and I kept on seeing the "Recovery is not seandroid enforcing" error on top. I was helpless.
Good thing i chanced upon a blog from Sammobile and it had stock firmware from my carrier. Downloaded it and flashed through Odin. BUT i only flashed the AP file and not the other files (CSC_HOME, BL, etc.) that came with the whole zipfile from sammobile and it got my phone working again.
I tried rooting again using CF Auto-Root through Odin 3.12.3, like what I initially did before but after rooting the dreaded error of "Recovery is not seandroid enforcing" appeared again and bootloop phases soon followed. I tried several times (after flashing stock rom and trying root) but the same result.
Right now my phone is okay but unrooted.
Any suggestion on what I can do now to root?
Was it wrong for me to just flash the AP file instead of the whole 5 files when I went back to stock firmware?
I have Odin 3.12.3 and CF-Auto-Root-hero2lte-hero2ltexx-smg935f.tar to root my Samsung S7 Edge (G-935F)
Thanks in advance mates! Cheers!

Help please. Anyone?

Galaxy S6 - Soft brick flashing CF-autoroot

I downloaded CF-autoroot and followed these steps and now it is stuck on bootloop. I downloaded Odin 3.10.6 and right cf-auroroot version as well.
http://galaxys6root.highonandroid.co...s6-or-s6-edge/
"When done, you should see “RESET!” on ODIN program and your S6/S6 Edge will reboot to show something like below. This is where CF-Auto Root roots your S6/S6 Edge."
It never boots into recovery and it's immposible to manually boot to it as well. It just auto-reboot and stuck on "samsung powered by android."
I'm trying to download stock ROM from sammobile but its gonna take 4 hours thanks to 15 kb/s freemium download. -.-
edit: I've solved it with Samsung Kies firmware initialization but still no root
edit 2: Retried and now it's rooted
Please tell me how exactly you got out of the stuck android screen. I am in the same situation and I cant get out of it. Kies doesn't recognize my device.
If you have the AOD firmware than install twrp through ODIN and then flash the latest super SU file (2.46 or something) from chainfire's website through twrp. Beware of the deep sleep issue.
That's how i got my phone rooted.

Bricked my phone, need help

So i have a SM-G920I, i installed a custom rom the other day. I deleted a few folders from my SDCARD today, and when i restarted the phone i got the "recovery is not seandroid enforcing" error.
I got into DOWNLOAD mode and use Heindall to flash recocery.img from the stock 5.1.1 ROM for my phone. But now it just sits on the Samsung Galaxy S6 logo.
Anyone got any ideas?
Try to rescue it via Smart Switch, or flash a stock ROM via Odin or Heimdall
Have you tried flashing the stock kernel? If you were running a custom ROM, you will probably need to reflash everything, such as your PIT and Kernel and bootloader. I had this same issue when I was playing around on a Note 4. You should probably avoid custom ROMs until you know how to unbrick a device as many of them tend to have issues.

Samaung s6 g920F fails to update to android 6

Hi im trying to update my samsung G920F to a marshmallow but any attempt to leaves it in a bootloop. Ive sucessfully installed twrp however when installing a custom rom the device is stuck at the Samsung loading screen. Ive tried usuing diffrent versions of odin, twrp and also tried to install stock firmwares for anroid 5 and 6 via odin but all fail. Ive restored the phone back to android 5.1.1 using smart switch and then attemped to root it with CF-root so then i can try install the recovery using the app but after flashing cf root with odin the phone is stuck in a boot loop again with 'Kernel is not Seandroid Enforcing ' on the top left of the screen.
Do i need to do anything before i flash the rom or twrp or root?
and does anyone know how to update the G920F to android 6?
thanks
Which error do you get when you try to flash a stock rom over Odin?

This is the so called "Forced encryption". You should flash TWRP instead and root by there. In the TWRP page, this is explained, it's a boot patch. The bad part is that you need to perform a factory reset, in order to apply this patch and successfully root the device. Might also be you are not using the right image.tar.md5 for the current firmware you are running. Check here: TWRP

Odin fails to flash stock firmware

So I have an old SM-G920W8 that was with Rogers, but when I turned it on it would get stuck on the galaxy s6 screen. So I tried entering the recovery thing or whatever it was called but there was text at the top left that said "recovery is not seandroid enforcing", so then I tried to flash the stock firmware back on with Odin 3.10.6 with the ROM I got from Frija, but it fails every time.

Hmm ... Should work.
Have you downloaded the correct firmware?
Best to check the installation guide again and repeat it:
Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G920W8 Stock Firmware (ROM Flash File) [DOWNLOAD]
Download the official Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G920W8 Stock Firmware ROM (Flash File) for your Samsung Smartphone and unbrick the device, fix boot loop and more.
firmwarepanda.com
Keep in mind that flashing a different CSC with Odin needs doing a factory reset with doing data.
That is why I always prefer using "Home_CSC" to keep my CSC and data.

Hi, I've got a Galaxy S6 G920F on Vodafone that I am trying to downgrade from 7.0 to 6 or 5 so that I can go through with an unlocking procedure but I keep getting the error message " SW REV. CHECK FAIL. DEVICE: 5, BINARY 3". Can anyone help?

Seems that you have to flash another firmware version.
Hi Guys,
