I rooted it and after that it was working fine but i gave the phone to my friend for some time and he installed root uninstaller app and selected all system files and uninstalled them. After that when I rebooted it, it just got stuck on boot animation. I tried to fix it with PC companion and after the update it is not turning on. When I press power button it just keep on blinking red led.
put the root files in your sd card and
Switch off your Xperia M first
Switch it back on and the time when you see your phone’s LED notification light turn Pink! (or changes to any other color) — start pressing either the Volume UP or Volume Down key a couple of times to make your phone boot into recovery mode
Once you’re in recovery mode. Use Volume buttons to navigate Up and Down between options and Power button to select an option in recovery.

[Q] [Problem][XPU]Device does not go into flashmode, fastboot and boot

Device: Xperia U
Causes:Flashed a kernel that's not meant to be flashed via recovery (flashed a jellybean kernel that's supposedly handled by fastboot but rom is CM-ICS based) <- I know how stupid of me )
Issue: Does not boot, nor go into fastboot mode or flash mode <- no way of indicating since illumination strip does not light up
Other Info:
Has a cm-based rom
ILLUMINATION STRIP does not either light up green or blue whenever I go into flashmode or fastboot
Has the red led of death when I plug it in on a wall charger or pc (whenever I press and hold the power button red led blinks, not the illumination strip)
unlocked bootloader
Does not show charging animation when power button pressed, does not vibrate either, since it is a custom rom boot logo does not show up.
when using flashtool device not detected, using windows 8 installed drivers successfully by turning off the device driver signer(?)
after i flashed the wrong kernel i can still access flash mode, fastboot mode successfully but i overslept and just red led of death.
after 15-20mins of charging either via pc or wall charger the red led just diminshes.
Any insights you people could offer? what steps did I miss i read the thread about the stock rom. however i do not know what will i do to recover a phone with a custom rom(cm-ics) along with inapporpriate kernel.
If does not even show charging animation or even boot logo, when i tried the hard reset method (power+up.vol+down.vol then hold) it does not work. I attempted flashing the the firmware(ftf file for XPU) to no no avail it doesn't really go to flashboot or fastboot. No light by the illumination strip. Charged and Drained the battery several times.
Any help or insight would be appreciated.

Sony Xperia Z3 HARD BRICKED

Hi. My device is hardbricked. I see no lights while charging. Flashtool doesn't see my device.how can i fix this?
Edit:Easily fixed it.I plugged my device into the computer.I entered platform-tools and flashed boot.img.I saw "waiting for device" And i pressed volume up and power buttons. Suddenly boot flashed and i recovered my phone
You are very unlikely to have hard bricked it unless you have unlocked the boot and flashed something wrong.
If you did this please help us help you by telling us what you did just before this happened.
Also, just leave the phone on charge (Wall charger) for 24 hours and then see what happens.
In the mean time read this
solution for no LEDs no response no fastboot devices.
Take two rubberbands one to hold down the power button and one to hold down the volume up button on Xperia Z3 dual. I spent a lot of time figuring this out. Alter a few minutes the phone just booted up from the dead. It worked for me 3 times. Now if someone can tell me how to fix the fastboot remote command not allowed error I'll be happy.

Hello
I had the same problem with REMOTE COMMAND NOT ALLOWED till i managed to solve it.
1st thing you need to clean that ANDROID folder you made on C: drive.Install all from the begining including flashtool.Boot windows to install unsigned drivers. In the flash tool folder youll find the driver downloader, just enable usb debugging and choose Mass Storage not MTP .; You have 4 options usb debug on/off and usb connectivity MTP or Mas Storage ;with every version selected connect and disconnect from pc with flashtool running.
When you use Fastboot start the flashtool and close it if it cant kill ADB (that assuming you succeeded in installing drivers).
Good Luck

Try a different driver package from another download source and use another usb on your pc.
Maybe it works. If your device can enter flash mode it definitely can be recovered.

The green led indicates flash mode so the problem is probably on your PC not detecting it properly. Does it show up in the system manager of windows if you plug it in at all? (Like a new device/android with a yellow triangle)
You could also try to fastboot a recovery and flashing a ROM from there. Not sure if it works but that's what I would try.
i m not even able to fastboot a recovery ...tried twrp and cwm both of them...
Me too
in my phone after charging 24h, only the red LED blinks, this is not normal any suggestions?
--------------edit
ok another week and still nothing
maybe I'll describe the problem:
I wanted to upload clean soft 5.1.1 and flash it
after the phone turned off it's start in recovery i used zip with SU and the phone turned off with no respond i try too reset (vol- + vol+ + power) but no reaction
there were no three vib
so I found that you have to reset the button under the sd flip
after this treatment you already know the charging of 3 days and only the red LED blinks
So any suggestions??

I‘m having the same problem, I can’t open my Xperia Z3. I tried with holding on/off button, holding volume up and on/off button, holding volume down and on/off button. When I connect it to PC, nothings happen. No vibrates, no led on, no screen on. What should I do?

Like you I have a Xperia Z3 mines the 6633 variant.. Signs were showing it to be hard bricked, for example:
No led charge indication!
No power led!
No fastboot leds!
No USB detection sound when plugging into windows.
Literally a Z3 that was essentially a glass brick I bought off ebay for £6.50 GBP for spares/repair.
Since I had a bricked device, I had nothing to loose.
I applied heat to the rear glass with a hair drier & removed the panel, I removed the battery ribbon cable & plugged in via USB only to find the phone would show LEDs so put it on charge.
The Z3 now goes into flash mode, so then re-flashed a stock ROM from flashtool. I did a apps log & user data wipe, cust reset & fota reset.
To date I have no idea why the phone would not take a charge before or even detect via USB, though Id say give this method a go, you may be surprised!!
Good luck

Xperia Z5 E6683 dual - Boot looping

Hi all,
i have been attempting to root my Z5 dual, i have unlocked the bootloader no issues.
but when i got to the stage of trying to flash TWRP.img thats where i ran into issues, it flashed ok - but now my phone won't boot - it is just stuck on the white sony screen.
the only way to turn it off is to hard reset ( hold power button and the volume buttons until it vibrates 3 times ) - then it will power on if i hold down the volume key and press the power button - or plug it into a wall charger..
when it does turn on it gets to the sony screen - the LED goes white, then amber for a second or two then the LED turns off..
im not too sure what to do now guys - my laptop wont pick up my device any more so it seems as though i have soft bricked it. i have also tried the P.c companion thing also but it says i have modded software so it can't do it lol.
help me pls
Hi,
If you already have installed the z5 drivers on you laptop (i assume this is the case because pc companion is installed and detect your phone), guess you can try to flash a stock Rom of your contry using flastool, your laptop will normally detect your z5 cause you connect it thanks to a special manipulation (vol - + connexion while button is maintained) .
Try this if everything goes great, it will fix the bootloop issue.
I got the same prob and eveb worse (battery 0% and wasnt charging) i hard rest it ( vol up+ power) and left it for 10 seconds then i pluged into my laptop while holding vol down and suprisly my laptop detected my phone and i was saved ! But i was scared about the flashig procsess as my battery was 0% lol

hi there,
thanks for your response,
my phone is no longer being recognized by my laptop - i have tried a bunch of things - it doesn't boot loop any more - if i turn it on ( well attempt to) it will just show a no battery picture - out of 20 times of trying to get it into fast boot mode it the green LED will flash for a second or so and then it will turn off again.
i have tried to leave my phone on charge for a whole weekend to see if it worked - but it still shows that it has no battery

flashmode not fastboot mode . make sure u install flashtool drivers and fastboot drivers and ur devices drivers as well. dont skip this just cause u think u did it. if you are on a windows pc windows 8 - windows 10 , you have to disable signature verification in order to install the drivers. if you dont know about that , tell me to explain . apart from that , what commmand did you use to flash twrp? fastboot flash boot twrp.img or fastboot flash recovery twrp.img? if you did the first , thats why it doesnt boot. and apart from that , can you at least enter the recovery ?

Can’t get phone to boot after unlocking bootloader.

I have tried the xperia companion app but it cant since my bootloader is unlocked. The screen won’t turn on but the led is showing colors after some volume+power combinations. Can somebody help me?

Tried it, can't even get it to flashmode it just has the charging indicator with no percentage and when I try any of the button combinations it just returns to the charging thingy. Though after a minute or two the led turns green and suddenly my computer recognizes it but it returns to the charging indicator after 2 mins or so. What can I do? I'm desperate

If you are getting battery indicator on plug in it means you are not getting into flashmode
Turn ur devices off by pressing and holding power+vol up (until it vibrates 3 times)
Then open flashtool and get into flashmode by holding vol down and then connect to pc/laptop (green led will light up if you are in flash mode)
Yet not in flashmode???
Try fastboot mode >>>
Turn off the device same way you did earlier
Press and hold volume up and connect to pc/laptop
this time blue led will light and it means you are in fastboot mode
Try and PM me that what the result you got?
