Hey guys.
Was hoping someone could help me out as I'm new to Android rooting. I got a Giada F210U unit which supports Android 5.1.1.
Loaded the default Android image from the manufacturers website and am now trying to get the play store up and running as I want to turn this device into a home media player that can have apps like netflix installed.
The device lets me download and install APK's but then does nothing when I try to open them which I assume is due to the device being locked.
Tried loading Kingo Root, I Root and multiple others to no avail. They at least load but when trying to root they all fail.
Anyone got any advice as to how I should go about getting this device rooted?

I have a SE Xperia 10 in the US with android 1.6. I want to upgrade desperately to 2.2,etc. All my research shows that I must root the phone with Z4root. Problem is that At&t won't allow me to install the app because it is not in the Market or was not downloaded from the market.
I then learned that sideloading or debranding were possibly my only options for installing apps such as this. Only issue is that I am on a Mac running 10.5.8 and cannot seem to find any thing to assist in this. I have read about the sideload wonder machine, but I cannot find a download for macs.
Has anyone had to go through all this At&t BS and successfully updated their phone without getting into astro-physics? If so I need your help.

Basically, I own a rooted android tablet and I am wanting to skygo to work but with the device being rooted and wont work, is there a way around it?

Unroot Note 3 android 5.1.1
Hello, I recently was given a rooted T-mobile Note 3. The guy who gave it to me, tried either updating or wiping it and it got stuck in a boot loop. I was able to get it out by simply putting it into download mode and taking it out. But then it has a never-ending "unfortunately google app has stopped" error. But it works if I create a new profile; google play doesn't work though.
So anyways, I need to unroot it so I can activate it. The android version is 5.1.1 the only version I can find is 5.0 I read that downgrading when unrooting will trip some anti-root switch: However I couldn't find anything saying if this would happen going from 5.1.1 to 5.0.
Any help is appreciated. thanks.

I have a Boost Mobile LG G Stylo running Android 5.0.2 with software version ls770zv3. I originally rooted this device but wanted official Android update so I cleared root using clean up option in SU and after I did factory restore then installed root checker to verify it was no longer rooted which it isn't, but now some apps won't install, they get to the install point after downloading and just sits there then eventually closes playstore and restarts and gives me the install option again, also I get the dead Android when trying to update, things randomly close now and its just a pos all together. I can't find anything on this. Please help.
There aren't many new topics on this model so here we go,
My z3 stock came with 5.0.1 and as far as i know never (the 6616) had the 4.4 as an option. SO downgrading didn't work, so i'm stuck trying to root this with 5.0.1 and after two days of browsing this site there really doesn't seem to be a way to do so. Eventually i said $%#* it and rooted it using kingroot but after rooting it, root checker passed the root but would not give proper access when installing root apps such as busybox and the ta backup tool.
So i didn't realize that the keys ive been trying to save are useless anyways if i update android and the main reason for me going through this is i really don't like 5.0.1. Only thing i haven't really looked into doing is seeing if kingroot will let me unlock the bootloader then trying to flash an update. SO has anyone successfully updated a 6616 z3 (to 6) who didn't start off with 4.4?
