Hi Friends,
I am from India and my dad has an honor 4c which he has never updated. Its currently running on kitkat 4.4 build version CHM-U01V100R001C636B160. Now I want to update it to marshmallow to improve its performance. The phone does not show any update over the air. I have checked on the hihonor website and it currently shows only marshmallow update for the phone with build version C675B530. The release notes for the marshmallow update say that it should be used to update phones with builds B370, B380, B390 and B502 only.
Can anyone please tell if I can use this marshmallow build to update my phone? Also, I read somewhere that I will have to update to lollipop first. If so, where can I get the lollipop build for India?

Just found out this build BLL-L22C636B360 from Firmware Finder. Is this the official nougat build?
I'm currently on B150, should I upgrade?
Changelog: http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1279/g104/v82620/f2/full/changelog.xml
It's a small update to the BETA one.

I see, that makes sense. Can I upgrade directly from emui 4.1?
Flashed successfully. Not sure if it is the official Nougat but so far it's working fine.
I think this is still BETA.
From EMUI page on FB, they said that Official version of EMUI 5.0 will be released from June 2017. Keep waiting.
I also installed this update and working fine. But in reboot I get a "device not authenticated" alert. Is this not a certified signed firmware? Or have I installed a hacked one?
As all links are dead for OTA updates, so i uploaded to a trusted server so they won't get dead again
Here are the link for OTA updates
The OTA will only works on MENA firmware installed over TA-1021-25-33-39[NOKIA 6] and with TA-1025 directly[without Mena]

No there is not, because Nokia will directly give you the official oreo final version and with latest securty update.
Keep enjoying the beta version, because with my experience, i didn't found any bug yet, working smoothly and faster then before.

Update
I installed firmware MENA in my ta-1025 and upgraded to Android oreo beta, now my question is, will I receive the other updates via OTA?

Hi, I have almost the same case than you. I flashed Mena in my TA-1039 (the 1025 but with one sim) and then manually the patches in the post until November. Then I requested the ota and appeared a notification for December patch. I installed and then appeared the Oreo beta notification. But here is the point. I requested for the rollback ota and I tried all methods and nothing. So, a way to see if you will receive updates is requesting the rollback ota. If the notification appears well you have your answer (if you don't want to rollback but the notification appears, request the ota for Oreo in the webpage, and the notification of rollback will disappear), if not... wellyou could reflash Mena firmware, update until November and request the Oreo beta and see what happens.

Manually updated to oreo wont give you rollback OTA, even manually rollback wont let you rollback cause there is no recovery menu
So you can just be there in oreo beta, till it officially releases for every region or atleast for your region.
Once it releases, just flash back MENA firmware and manually install all the OTA then try for officially oreo, this could help you alot
If you still want to rollback then flash your device with MENA firmware
Done.

Hello!
I have a question: I have a TA-1039 but I'm stuck with September's OTA. In order to get the Oreo Beta, should I install all of this since July or can I continue starting from October / November (update 1) / December (for Oreo) and then request the OTA for beta?
Since I'm in beta, will Nokia give me the update for Original Oreo?
Thank you all for your help!

No, dont install on your device now, these should be installed after you install Mena firmware.
Let me explain you clearly
Your device comes with TA-1021-25-33-39 varies region to region
MENA firmware is international firmware, internally it installs TA-1025 into your device but when you will see in your device settings->about phone
Then you will find it as TA-1039.
but after intalling MENA firmware you will be able to install these OTA build into your device.
Dont try these OTA without MENA firmware, otherwise you will brick your device.
For any help, just reply back

Wow! That was fast! Thank you!
So, to install MENA I need to follow the steps from the other thread, right? Install the TOOL and its patch, connect the phone and wait untill finishes, etc ...
After this, I can put all this OTA updates on my SD card and start to install one by one.
Can I install all of them ( following the months of course) without reboot every time? I mean, without entering into the phone?
P.S. Some users are receiving the official OREO by OTA since Jan 29th :fingers-crossed:

No, you can't install them in once, even if you want then also you cant install them in one time.
You have to install them one by one, as after each OTA installed, it will reboot itself.
Let it finish updating and then reboot into recovery to install next OTA
ALSO
the official Oreo is released for NOKIA 6 TA-1000/1003, i.e. china and Hong Kong/taiwan varient not for other region yet
When it will arive to other region or we will get a way to install it manually then you will be notified.
Hope you are happy with the information

He may not need to reflash his phone. That MENA is 00WW firmware for TA-1025. If he already has 00WW firmware he can go straight to installing updates. Just dbl check in the About screen that build number starts from 00WW and not from 00A0 (Amazon-locked) or 00S0 (whatever locked).

The last Oreo released for the device has February 2019 security patches. None has been released since then.
Hye guys,
So i just got myself an xperia 5 II XQ - AS72 256 5g dual sim variant from HK.
I noticed that it's still on the august 1st , 2020 security update and on my xperia 1 II it's already on October.
Was wondering all of y'all are also on the same security patch / firmware ? As it's kinda odd for it to still be backdated.
Current firmware version : 58.0.A.10.3
Cheers.
No one ?
Still on the same security patch from August 1st, but with firmware version 58.0.A.12.23.
