As you can read in the title, i am looking to something that can make my s7 equal to the Honor 9 (yeah, i really like the EMUI 8).
I searched on google but i did not find something relevant so yeah, i want to know if you can help me.

EMUI is trash, try MIUI, EMUI it's just a cheap copy from MIUI.

Yes you'll gonna lose it but if you live in EU there's a law and you should still have it.

That's the full firmware, I'm only after the update.zip ( 500+MB) to go from full CRAP to CRB7

I wouldn't know, I've never used it. I have used Android Pay rarely throughout the whole Orea beta though without any issues.

Awesome. Seriously interested in this phone but have never had an unrooted phone so more details would be much appreciated. What software are you using here? I'm presuming this is only possible on the Chinese variant and not the global? Will you be attempting to install Magisk? Thanks in advance.

I am so much tempting to install magisk but i need stock boot.img file to patch and flash via adb but its risky haha lets see what happens
Great stuff. Thanks for the fast reply. I'll be watching for any updates with interest ! I can't live without adblock, afwall and titanium. Plus I'd be wanting to remove any bloatware which for me includes everything Google.

I'd prefer the global rom, the only reason I chose the Chinese rom is because the L29 didnt come in 8GB/256GB.

Even i like global but what to do if you cant root and unlock BL??
My phone is unlocked and ready for root!!! Just need TWRP and SuperSU that actually works! If anybody has a link to these two files, please post it! Thank you!

Nothing, I keep using it I have the Huawei Honor Note 8, which was also Chinese, and it was fine, just some of the Chinese applications I wish has English option to use. But So far this phone is great, slightly smaller then the HN8 but still awesome.

I did try it and installed it but it just goes to the TWRP launch screen and gets stuck there. I have to reboot several times now to get phone to boot up normal... Yikes

just a little midnight thought (yes, its 2 a.m. where I am :-D). We can easily install twrp on the P40 Pro (twrpupdate.com). Wouldn´t it be easy to flash OpenGApps? Or is it just my too tired brain :-D
PS: yes, yes... Googlefier... I know. It´s just a matter of getting the google service on the old way.

Huawei dows not allow to unlock the bootlocker. So... no, the plan doesn´t work
