I would like to translate all the Operative System (Windows Mobile 5 or 6) to another language than the one that I have. for instance from English to Swedish.
I have been reading in this site loads of comments related to this subject and I thought I was gonna be able to do it, but at the end by now I have a defeat
The idea is NOT creating a new ROM, just a cab file which would be able to change the language.
things I have tried and I think are neccesary to do:
1) Change in the registry the values related to the language, for instace
2) Edit the .mui files. HERE I HAVE PROBLEMS as i am able to edit them (with Reshacker for instace), modify them, save them.
-> They are ignored by the OS
after that I thought I had to sin them so i did ot with signtool an the certificates that you have with VisualStudio...however they are ignores as well
---> ¿whish is the exact process I have to do with the mui files??
3) i think if I were able to create the proper muis, I would be able to "overwrite" the ROM with the command FORCEDELETE inside of the xml/cab

as my title,I have change the brightness,but i can't find which file conclude the infomation,if i can backup that file,i needn't change it again after install new CM7.zip with wiped.

Sorry if noob question, I just beginner. I need to play app on PC but I have known this app detect file name "system/lib/egl/libGLESv1_CM_emulation.so". I try to change this file name but this file is used form other files(libEGL_emulation.so,libGLESv2_emulation.so) and I don't have source code of those files. Could I have source code of "libEGL_emulation.so","libGLESv1_CM_emulation.so" and "libGLESv2_emulation.so" or anyone have other libGL that can run on virtual box, Send me, please.
Can anyone help me remove chinese characters from my phone . When i receive a call if the contact is saved in my phonebook with international prefix I always get the location in chinese. Even if i turn off the location I still get chinese characters.
Any ideea?

Hello,
You need to change the following two lines on your local.prop file (located on /data/cust/prop/) to your location in order to do that:
Original:
ro.product.locale.language=zh
ro.product.locale.region=CN
You will change for example:
ro.product.locale.language=en
ro.product.locale.region=EN
You need root to access and save the file, also make a backup of the current file for future updates.
im able to get root access using file explorer. unfortunately i can't seem to copy any file in this folder. im using fx and mixplorer both failed
Try Total Commander.
Overwrite not working for me either.
But with root, first delete file, than copy new edited to folder, than change rwx properties of file.
But, Chinese symbols still present in call log. For country, Germany is ok, but instead of Czech Republic two Chinese symbols.

But still there is no way to make the change without root ?
Well, I modified the local.prop and for me at least, it doesnt work. Chinese characters are still present. And I live in Spain btw.
Any update? I am also facing same problem.
After a reboot the new incoming characters (in emails) and the contacts should be OK.
100% Working !!!
how to remove all chinese characters from WhatsApp, Wechat, etc? need fully english.

I know that was a long time ago, but there is any way to change the file directly on the "UPDATE.APP", in order to be ok whenever the system boots up for the first time?
