I got a kitchen and dump all the files from my 80040000-OS.nb.
And now i want to translate the hole rom to sample-chinese, how can i do that?
I saw an article from here, it said i can download the emulator file from microsoft, and change all the language file name to 0409, then copy them to my dump folder.
But i didn't want to do that, i want to still keep the language file name like 0804. What will i do? Modify the default.hv and user.hv? Or some other way i can do?
I just want to translate my rom to sample-chinese use 0804 file not 0409 file, can somebody help me?

Get all the mui files for your language (may be from emulator but be sure to have right build). hv files will have the language settings. Convert the hv files to rgu and search them through for language settings. You may need to search through each line in the rgu. Then convert the rgu back to hv and use them along with the mui files (can delete the ENU mui files).
This is not impossible but will need lot of patience and testing time. Good Luck
only edit .hv files and replace the mui files is ok ?

Hi all, I need some advice on how to change back the languange to english. FYI, i've installed a programme that requires me to copy and past the fonts( chinese) for the prog to work. Now when i copied " Tahoma " as my last font copied, it won't change back to english which it normally does. I've copied and paste all the fonts in c/windows/fonts .
Some one please help me as i dont know what else to do......

I'm about to translate Android to my language and so i went ahead and got a strings-en.xml file... assume that i translated it to my language and renamed it to something like strings-hy.xml.. So after all these where i have to put it on my phone to work? and what about the Settings Choose Locale and etc..???
In the first many lines of the file it states this :
/*//device/apps/common/assets/res/any/strings.xml
But there is no app called Common in my App Folder... so what i must do?

I know how to unzip and add and remove other stuff and rezip.
I want to get rid of all language support apart from English and get rid of Chinese writing also.
I want to actually delete them not just change it so they are not shown.
