j327p (sprint) Any debloated roms or a safe to remove list? - Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) Questions & Answers

Are there any debloated or customs roms for this variant?
Any safe to remove programs list?
I can't seem to find any, but maybe I'm blind.
It's been flashed successfully with TWRP and superSU and I'd be happy just to get the crap off of it.
Thanks.

Flashing roms to us variant s7

I recently rooted my sprint galaxy s7. Now i want to flash a new rom to it but I can't find the resources i need to figure out how to do so. Is it even possible this
early in the roots development? Somone mentioned flashfire to me. But im afraid to use that with out knowing whether it will work. I can uninstall bloatware now and store my apps on sd but i would like a whole new operating system. Any suggestions?
Rom development is dead for the us s7's, there aren't any roms to flash.
That sucks. It was one of the big reasons i rooted.

Need advice S6 SC-05G

I rooted this s6, its Japanese SC-05G with the SM-G920s autoroot file, worked a charm.
Now I'd like to flash a custom rom to get rid of the ton of japanes bloatware on there. But i cant find any definitive answer as to what roms to safe to flash and which ones are not. Can someone please help me before I accidentally destroy this phone. I need something noobproof. Many thanks.

Looking for clean install to flash, root not necessary.

I had a stock SM-930A phone and I plan on doing a factory reset just to clean house. But since I plan on on a clean slate, I was wondering if there's a clean rom I can install without the bloat? I really don't need root, just an image without samsungs or att apps preinstalled. I'm familiar with using Odin and flashing but I just don't know what's out there for me to use and not sure if 'stock' includes those other apps. Thank you.
US variants (AT&T, Verizon, etc) all have a locked bootloader and can't have custom ROM's. Stock flashing via Odin is the only kind of ROMs you can use.
Your options are to flash the G930U firmware, as it's non carrier specific so shouldn't have carrier bloat. If you want to remove further bloat such as Samsung apps you'll need root or a debloat script like https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...dragon/rom-verizon-tmo-hybrid-method-t3571983
I think that'll work for me, thanks!

Need help with finding a de-googled rom or options.

I have a G930v which we all know can be crossed flashed.
I am switching to freedompop but that not the point of this thread.
I did do the nogut root but none of the modification for battery non performance, something happened where the root came off and I get "unauthorized app" but knox isnt tripped.
so I decided i'm just going to wipe my phone and start over.
I want a de-dedoxed , de-bloated, and de-googled phone, running root and xposed, because I would like to run MicroG on my phone.
Whats the best and lastest firmware from updato? I should download since samfirmware takes forever and a day to download.
any help is greatly appreciated.
You can only flash stock, so any G930U (unbranded) ROM would be the only option but they're not "de-google'd" as you put it

Rooted ROMs for g955u - Do I have the right answer? Question for the community

OK, I'm not a complete newb, but I haven't rooted a phone in a number of years. I am looking to do so for a g955u with a v5 bootloader.
So, I've been doing quite a bit of reading, and I want to make sure I have this correct. Because the 955u has a locked bootloader, we cannot have a custom ROM, but only a stock ROM (can it be modified?).
It appears that we can have a Rooted g955u running nougat by following these two threads:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8+/development/root-t3909782
and then:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ve...nt/root-using-odin-modified-firmware-t3693790
This appears to be the only solution. Am I wrong, is there another? Or worse, is this not even the solution?
TIA for bring this old newb along.
it's the best way

If you got safe strap you can flash a stock system img and then su. You can tweak it how you want. Its what I did on my s8. And the rooms available are awesome but mine suites me.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/how-to/950u-stock-rom-blq1-optional-root-t3812012
Same would apply for s8+. You just have to extract your wanted 7.0 img
