Hey guys, so I'm new here I hope that i find the sufficient help I'm looking for.
So I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 with a broken inner screen, so I literally can't see anything on it, but before it broke I was lucky to download Vysor on both my phone and laptop and I wanted to use the screen mirroring feature until I buy a new phone and I did use it for a couple of days until I was dumb enough to put the phone in Ultra Power Saving Mode, and that completely made the phone undetectable by the laptop therefore can't use the mirroring feature anymore.
My question simply is that is there a way to leave the UPS mode without having the screen? Like is there a way to boot up the phone back in normal mode?

Hey guys. SO, I recently dropped my Note II. The screen shattered, but was entirely responsive to touch input and functioned normally (besides shards of glass splintering into my fingers heh) I kept telling myself I would get it fixed "soon" and before I did, it dropped again. This time the screen was not displaying properly and no longer responded to touch except on the notification bar. I pulled the battery and restarted the phone. The screen is no longer lighting up or displaying anything but the phone still boots up as I can hear the startup sounds and flood of incoming text messages.
I previously rooted my phone, left the stock rom on....
Now my intent is to adb into the phone via laptop and usb. and making a "clockwork recovery style image" and then hopefully use an emulator to run the image to extract my data from it. Looking for any guidance or suggestions to get my data back from the device.
If not possible even a backup on the internal drive would be wonderful. Would I be able to make an image of this device and then flash it onto another note 2 to access my saved information?

looks like you broke your digitizer (second time you dropped it), you could just replace the entire lcd and screen instead of a new note, not too hard just be careful you don't break anything in it, that can be big bill thought. did a quick search and on eBay looks around $190 and up... which is redonkulous. i think you could cook your own ROM and get all your data back by doing a adb/system/pull if you wanted a new note 2.

Yes I wanted to replace the broken digitized rather than buy a second note. I was going to use a friends Note II, if I can pull all of the data off. You say adb/system/pull, or do you mean pull the system folder using adb? If you are aware of one would you link me a guide on adb? It's been some while since using the commands. Thank you for your reply.

can anyone help me? im a newbie in the modding phone scene but im a very apt pupil. i recently rooted my A.T.T galaxy note3 sm-n900a. after rooting my phone i went and put safe strap on it to make sure i was following precise directions plus titanium. With me being new at this and shelling out a small fortune to me for this new phone i wanted to just unlock its full potential and put a good daily driver rom on my phone at first to keep it simple and safe .didnt want to brick my brand new phone. then if that worked out well try looking around for a more suitable rom for what i want to use it for(which is mostly gaming).well i installed my first rom after rooting my phone everything looked to be going great the first 12 to 15 hrs then it happend and when i say it i dont really know what IT is. i went into safe strap to change my rom to another newer rom and the screen started going crazy with green lines boxes flickers all over it. I immediatly shut it down to save it from further damage so i thought.now when i try to turn the phone back on the screen flickers but wont come on . I can feel the phone working thru haptic feedback and hear the swipe sounds in the speaker but no picture at all can anyone please help me. I dont think its major i just need some help figuring it out.
Hello,
My lovely galaxy s6 decided to break up with me .
The lcd is totally broken and the screen stays black and the touch wont work.
Now i need to recover my photos etc but i cant authorize my computer on my phone because the screen is dead.
The usb debug mode is off and the phone is stockrom, just had it for a few months and didnt feel like rooting it yet.
Is there anyone who can help access my phone?
Hi I have just bought an s7 which turned out to be a Korean G930L but I cant get any response out if it apart from the 2 bottom leds and and the blue one. No response from trying to get into recovery or download mode, basically a black screen though it does vibrate on what i think is start up. It is found by pc and Odin and charges ok, I can tell as I can see properties on pc. But no other response. Is it possible that the previous owner tried to root it using non korean rom or TWRP? Any advice on how to fix either getting TWRP on or screen to light up. I am sorry for being so vague I have pulled it apart and checked all of the connections, screen, motherboard etc but nothing. Odin sees the phone but I am not sure if I am in Download mode so wont flash, as cant see screen.
Or chuck it out or put back on eBay.

Your phone's display screen has a problem , sadly you have to replace the display screen. Go to the nearest samsung service center.
Thanks it isnt worth it I will just sell it on ebay. I have been able to get to some of the screens [though still black] as it talks to me in Korean and the screen is giving haptic feedback so aspects of it are alive still. I am wondering now if someone has tried to ROOT it and semi bricked it or turned off the display internally. The other night night no matter what I pushed it vibrated and answered me with the same korean statement. I am trying to get into Recovery Mode without a screen and flash it without a screen but proving frustrating, maybe samsung dealer can reflash it with needing a screen.

It's not a software issue, there must be water damage or display is broken/went off for some other reason.
I had this same issue with my note 5, I was able to hear everything, touch key and notification lights were on too, that time my note 5 was accidentally dropped by me. So 99% your display is broken. Simply go to service center and get a quote, but display will cost same as used s7. Try to get after market screen.
ok thanks for the advice, i will head to them after the xmas break
My brother lost his phone on the street, at least a few cars have driven over the mobile phone. It's a "Galaxy J3 2017 SM-J330F/Dual-Sim, Galaxy J3 Pro 2017". The screen is completely gone. It seems like the phone is still able to do something, it does light up a little when turned on. There's also some activity when plugged into a charger.
The phone is unrooted, dev-mode is turned off.
My brother is concerned about his privacy, so he wasn't connected to any cloud, nor logged in with a google account. And backups ... there are none.
He desperatly wants some photo's recovered from the device.
I searched a lot on how to accomplish this, but it looks like there's no way to do this without either enable dev-mode (which isn't posible since the screen is completely gone), or root the phone (same problem).
Is there anything else I can do? Is it worth a shot to have the screen replaced?

Replacing the glass/digitizer/LCD should work, you should be able to find an all in one combination that has the glass, digitizer and LCD altogether ready to put in. Then you just need to find a decent YouTube video detailing the teardown and screen replacement process for that specific model of device.
