Help with a new SGS7 (SM-G930F), ODIN + bricked - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

Hey guys, I just bought an SGS7 (SM-G930F), It was on 6.0 (ITV) firmware and I flashed 7.0 VAU (Vodafone) firmware thru ODIN.
ODIN showed a FAIL message and I got the "An error occurred..." message when trying to boot up again.
Current ODIN screen says
- SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
- FRP LOCK: OFF
- Secure Download: Enabled
- WARRANTY VOID: 0 (0x0000)
I'm pretty sure I messed up on the secure download part (I should've disabled). But now I think I'm bricked. Any ideas how to fix?

Make sure it is the G930F in download mode
Flash it again, make sure you are using ODIN 3.12.3 or newer, check the "Repartition" option in ODIN if changing CSC

It is G930F in Download mode. I am using ODIN 3.12.10 from this thread. I have checked "Re-Partition" in ODIN.
Now ODIN is stuck in at "initialization".
This is my current ODIN log.

Btw, for CSC, do I use CSC or HOME_CSC?

Tried using a different USB lead?
Use a different USB port on the PC too
Use CSC for changing CSC
Try flashing the original CSC again to make sure you can unbrick too

I'll try with the original firmware.
Btw, with Smart Switch (older version), "Emergency Software Recovery & Initialization" --> "Device Intialization" tab doesn't work. It says "SM-G930F does not support initializing".
Also want to add, on ODIN screen, it says

Try a new USB lead
Flash the Marshmallow 6.0 firmware instead of 7.0
Use original CSC firmware from now on until we get the phone back up and running

GT-P5100 Firmware upgrade encountered an issue

Hi everybody, I tried to upgrade my GT-P5100 to 4.2.2 but something went wrong and now I have a black screen with this message:
Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again.
Probably I have selected Re-Partition but I didn't have a PIT file
The tablet had the stock rom and was not rooted.
I have Odin 3.07 and this PDA file but the procedure fails:

Can you help me?
Please if I need some more files write me all the links to download them, because many of them were hosted by hotfile and are no more downloadable...
"Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."
That´s the Black-Screen of Death! Downloadmode is on in this window Connect to your PC, Odin will get your device
There should be no Problem with the file itself "<OSM> Checking MD5 finished Sucessfully.." - bad download will give another output because the MD5 is not valid if it´s broken.
Make sure you uninstall KIES before using Odin and run Odin as Administrator !!!
Kies in installed and Odin is executed as administrator
So what should I do?

try this link, it is stock firmware.
further if it can't solve by just flashing firmware, you can try pit file. but be careful before flashing this with odin, be sure of what it will do, there are guides to explain the proper process.

I have the exact same problem, tried different odin versions, flashed the stock firmware, also tried different pc's, but no solution.
this is the error I keep getting on odin, Tried Kies it says P3100 does not support initializing. A friend says maybe its a motherboard issue, is that possible or just a firmware problem? What should I do next?
This is the error I get in ODIN.

Ok... I Solved my problem finally... I spent almost 3 days in forums to find a solution... So i give you guys a summary what I do:
1) Find my phone's pit file according to model and storage capacity (Mine is G920F 32GB)
2)Then the trick is use ODIN V3.10.6 insist of V3.09... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2711451
3)If you face with hidden.img problem, extract the rom's file and rename the file hidden.img to hidden.img.tar and flash it by ODIN (Put this file on AP)...
Wait for some minutes and there is where magic happens

Custom rom? with odin?
Yup. It seems like it 's need when you go between 5.1.1 to 6.0.1. Have tried to install through TWRP, but the phone never starts up.
Did you try to rescue it via Smart Switch?

[HELP] Galaxy S7 rebooting straight into Odin Downloading Screen

Hello guys.
My Galaxy S7 had a problem once where it was stuck at the Samsung Logo when booting. I took it to a Samsung Rep and they repaired it for me because it was on the warranty period. 3 months after this repair the phone had the same issue, but as it was out of warranty already i flashed a stock rom through odin and it worked. 2 weeks later i was using the phone playing some games while listening to music and then suddenly it restarted and now it boots straight into the "Downloading... please don't turn off" Odin Screen. When i restart the phone it shows the Samsung Galaxy S7 screen real fast and then goes to the "Downloading..." screen, without even showing the "Warning A custom OS...." screen. And when on this screen it does not show the usual Odin screen info on the top left corner. If i try to restart it with the Volume Down, Power and Home sometimes it shows the usual screens for Odin (First the Warning Screen and then the Downloading with the info on the top left corner).
I tried to flash a new firmware but it does not work. I searched a lot on the internet but couldn't find anyone with the same issue, only people who are stuck on odin mode but then when they press the volume down, home and power button the phone boots normally.
This is the Log when i try to flash with HOME_CSC

Are you using the latest Odin?

Samsung is denying the warranty because my screen has 2 cracks and they are saying that this problem was caused because of my "bad use" of the smartphone.
Yes. Using Odin 3.12.3.
I'm flashing AP, BL, CP and CSC.
Can't go into recovery. The phone goes straight to the odin screen. Can't do anything other than odin.
Already tried 3 firmwares from my csc (ZTO) and 2 from the Official Stock Rom thread here at XDA.

Don't try flashing anything custom or you'll trip the KNOX warranty uFuse
Phone is still under warranty for 12 months, take it back, the repair failed they should fix it again

Hi mate
In your first post you showed that odins fails on this step
cm.bin = Cryptography Manager , the function of this is to avoid downgrades
Do you remember what was the firmware you had? if not try to flash the very latest firmware available
Also i found a very similar case in a a S6 thread , the problem seems like the recovery was missing

check it out just in case the above solution fails

Hi.
Yeah, tried it on 3 different PCs. Always the same errors :/ I'm guessing it's some hardware issue. Now i'll have to fight Samsung so they fix the phone on warranty

Deleted my OS

Hi
When unrooting my phone I accidentally deleted the OS from my Samsung S6.
My model is SM-G920F
The phone was bought directly from Samsung via Amazon and is unlocked. I live in the UK and my sim is registered to Virgin.
Currently I can put the phone in Downloading (Odin mode) and TWRP.
I have attempted to Flash the firmware with Odin but I get the following fail message each time.
"<OSM> Enter CS for MD5..
<OSM> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
<OSM> Please wait..
<OSM> Checking MD5 finished Sucessfully..
<OSM> Leave CS..

I have updated my drivers and attempted to use a different port on my PC.
I am using Odin v3.12
I have attempted to use Smart Switch but I get the error message
"SM-G920F does not support initialising. Please contact our service centre."
Samsung service centre did not know what to do with the phone.
I would appreciate any advice. I've accepted my phone data is gone.

I've flashed with Odin in the past. Not with TWRP.
But yeah, I'm honestly a noob in way over my head.
I've had a new error on Odin attempting to flash.

First of all. What Samsung Firmware are you flashing, are you trying to downgrade to a older firmware version than what is already on there?
Try the latest samsung firmware and make sure it's suited for the model of your device.
Try another usb port and another microUSB cable. It is common for bad microUSB cables to make ODIN flash fail.
