LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device. LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review ( http://review.lineageos.org ).
Important:
This thread is for stock LineageOS 13.0 and any mods, kernels or Xposed framework will not be supported.
If features, options or code is NOT in the official source code, it will not be in my builds.
Known Bugs:
Installation:
Download the zip(s)
Install a compatible Recovery (TWRP recovery recommended)
Perform a nandroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
Wipe data/factory reset
Flash LineageOS
Optional: Install the Google Apps addon http://opengapps.org/ ( I tested nano and stock pkgs)
Reboot
Note: Built in root is available in Dev Options, but I'd use magisk

I know some of you may wonder why even post something as old as marshmallow. I still get a lot of use from LOS 13, and my wife likes it better than nougat. So I have been building it for myself for a while. I figured I'd upload the latest with Jan security patches, for those who want it. Happy flashing.

newbie and bootlooping
Hello!
So I tried to flash your LOS but I'm stuck at a bootloop. The first time it got all the apps ready and then has just been looping after hanging on the boot animation for a few minutes. I've tried to flash both with and without letting TWRP root the OS (it prompts me after installing GApps).
1. Do I have the right versions here?
HTC One M9 (AT&T)
unofficial LOS: lineage-13.0-20180324-UNOFFICIAL-himaul.zip
TWRP 2.8.7.0 Hima
GApps Nano - Android 6.0, arm 64, 23 April 2018 release
2. I'm a newbie at this stuff so how do I factory reset in this situation? I currently have just the above on my phone right now and tried from TWRP but still in boot loop.

hi.
gps is not working properly. can you fix it plz.

I've got the latest version built. Testing it now. Should have it available for download later today.

Can you add some extra bluetooth functionality?
I've got some bt devices that use older protocols etc..
I'd like to be able to choose all possible connection types and from what I understand its a fairly minor edit..
I don't know for certain tho

If you can send me a link on more info, and how to implement, yes, I can look into it.

New build: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=818222786056034194
Updated first post link too.

Just wanted to say thanks for this fast and smooth ROM. Recently replaced the battery in an old M9 and was happy to get it going again. Unfortunately, I realized today that I wasn't receiving any incoming phone calls. I can make calls and then receive them for a couple of minutes after making a call. Other than that, everything goes straight to voicemail. It's odd. I can flash other ROMs and not have this happen. Wondering if it's a setting I'm missing but then why would it work properly for a couple of minutes after making a phone call? In any case, I appreciate your effort!
EDIT - Wiped phone again and reinstalled. Seems to be working now. Thanks again!

LTE is working, but only on SIM 1.
Which kernel are you using? I got an compile error in vendor/qcom/opensource/dataservices/librmnet because some symbols from this file: https://android.googlesource.com/pl...llow-dr-dev/kernel-headers/linux/rmnet_data.h are missing, which isn't located in your kernel trees?
Nevermind, looks like CM did include it (qc dataservices) per default since 3 days.

Volte is broken (It will probably never work)
Flac Decoding is broken
Device always reports as the metro variant (Doesn't actually affect anything just visual)
Other issues?
Before posting in this thread, make sure of a few things:
You used the search function of the forums.
If you are the only one having a problem. Boot into recovery, wipe data/factory reset, reflash the rom/gapps and nothing else. Boot up and see if the problem persists.
Make sure your post is relevant to this thread.
Logs! You can use this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog
Changes compared to Messi's builds:
Volte has been disabled and hidden (It didn't work anyways and it gone improves the battery)
Battery life is vastly improved
No lags or stutters
The fingerprint sensor is disabled when the screen is off like stock
Brand new kernel designed by me
LTE comes up on boot no need to reset the apn anymore
Data speed, in general is faster
Lots of minor under the hood tweaking
Nice job! I've been using this the past few days. Battery life is excellent.
Just wanted to jump in and say thanks. This ROM is much faster and smoother than the messi one.
Also is there any way to turn the always active fingerprint scanner back on? Maybe an easy way lol I'm not good at editing etc

From what I know there is a Magisks or an Xposed plugin that does it but I don't support those so I can't recommend it. But it's your device so you can do what you think is best.

For 64 bit roms you must use the 64 bit TWRP located in the op here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/st...m-unofficial-lineageos-15-1-lg-stylo-t3785219
I'm sure it's located a few places on xda but I was just reading there and came here and it was a quick copy, paste. I'd boot your current twrp and flash the 64 bit via twrp then reboot recovery, wipe and flash rom or whatever and magisk zip at end of install. That's how I do it anyway. Hope that helps some. I'm itching to flash something tonight.
Edit added: I'm a Dork. I replied to a post from October!! Lmao. I'm going to sleep. Gn. Lol.
@deadman96385 Just noticed your icon any chance you could maybe make a liquid remix for us or am I dreaming too much? Hahahahahaha. I was looking at a video of gsi liquid remix and it looked super bad ass. Sorry for OT. Thanks for all you've done. Seems like I remember you from Galaxy nexus days. Cheers.
Wow! After using this for a minute I can really see the difference. The butta in this bad boy has it in and the ripped out stuff we don't need really stands out. Appreciate you! You are on telegram group nowadays yeah?

This is the initial launch for the Surnia. Just like Marshmallow, Nougat and Oreo, it will take months for all bugs and instabilities to be ironed out and an official build to be compiled.
The Surnia has come a long way since its launch build of Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. It's great to see continued development for this budget device.
That's a good news for this little phone , great job !

Oreo is also kinda laggy too, it could be our aging device. But I think we all need to wait for squid2 to do his magic. He had been through a tough time recently so we need to give him time.

Well, I played around for a bit and their was only a couple of bugs,
1: YouTube video only plays when swiping to the recent apps and when you go back in the app it plays but you get a black screen
2. The swipe up to home screen gesture part of settings, the video doesn't seem to want to play and when you click the play button nothing happens
3: and the rescue party issue I explained
But apart from that It runs extremely well!

OK. I've tested this Pie, dispite some few bugs it's okay. Jelly browser, for example, only load Google.com website, any other website shows an error:"err:net:Cleartext..." something like that. If you flash OpenGApps 9.0 unofficial from Nezorflame, you got stuck at inittial Pixel Configuration, getting successive errors and a black screen.
If anyone is interested to build for surnia, I have uploaded the manifest and patches by @chil360 and edited for surnia.
You can get the fork here:

Wowowow. It works better than 8.1!

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9.0 (Pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

yes thank you its finally here i really want to try that but i will wait for RIL to be fixed thank you very much
I install with mini gapps pie. The sim does not go, so neither calls nor data. It gets pretty hot when loading and downloading apps but it's very, very fluid ... the most. 100% pixel interface. I have installed my 100 apps on the cloud drive via WiFi and they work well with the ones I have tried with screen overlay ... good keyboards. File manager good.
The camera does not detect sd or sd ext, but files can be moved between sd and sd ext. The gallery is fast mega to upload and I have about 5 thousand photos and a hundred videos ....
Does not work: Slide finger on sup bar for brightness, Change side clock, Dark mode, change icons, sim for calls and data, The brightness very high to the minimum, some togles do not respond and the night mode I do not see it ....
.... Thanks for the work and wanting to have a final version! I hope it helps the devs.
Still missing, .. to this rom and PIE will improve the Android experience .... Thanks!

Just be patient
Haggertk is main dev primarily for s5 device , s5 also don't have SIM card working yet on pie. So as soon it get fixed there it will be fixed on note 3 as hardware wise s5/note 3 have basically same hardware.
I come from earlier version of OS 16,
When I flash it from TWRP, It complaint about device name error with 7
I also changed my build.prop file to make them match but it is still having the same issue

haggertk is one of only two active developers for both klte and hlte. Both developers work on both devices. Especially considering that the two share libril (in msm8974-common), when it is fixed it will be simultaneously fixed for both.
how can i build it myself?

Great work as always!
Nice work!
Peru
Great work
Finally waited for this!
Thanks!!!
So finally..as expected from a Pro Dev..:highfive:
Blame XDA for duplicate post.
Such a magnificent work mate, thank you very very much .
When we were without updates for about 3 months, I supposed you were on full with the Android 11/LineageOS 18, so we are, I will update this afternoon to test it, (I say test it, but my Mi 9T Pro is my daily and actually only device for daily use, but wel xD).
I hope you can provide us as you've being doing for a much long time, honestly, you rock a lot.
Edit after flashing into my Mi 9T Pro: The only important bug I can find is the no detection of my SIM card, which is pretty important xD. A few minor bugs encountered, as the impossibility of connecting to my 5 GHz Wi-Fi network; the crash of the settings screen (activity) when I try to go to the SIM screen; the not correct responsiveness of the tap to sleep, (on the lockscreen it works flawlessly, as it should), but on the normal screen, it requires about 4-5 taps, instead of two, on the status bar, when you have the curtain deployed, it requires the 2 taps as normally; the device is notably hotter than with LOS 17.1, which is causing as well less battery duration; the poweroff and restart processes, are tremendously slow, taking about 30 seconds to shutdown, when with LOS 17.1, were a matter of 2-3 seconds; the root with Magisk 20.4 makes the device to bootloop without getting through to LineageOS, but I suppose that's normal, given the early or initial state of this ROM with Android 11.
Edit 2, after a while (and after this morning a wipe of the 3 partitions more common to wipe, Cache, Dalvik and Data), (yesterday I dirty flashed it over LOS 17.1, which was silly of me, sorry about that): The majority of the "bugs" I weren't such, the ones that keep like real bugs are the tap to sleep, which still requires more than 2 taps and a few (1 or 2 in the process of reinstalling and configuring again everything to the way I had it on LOS 17.1) of the System UI, and a few settings activities which are not accesible right now, the rest were just from the dirty flash, to my joy . Really really smooth, but the new (on AOSP 11) screenshot tool seems strange to me, I still don't know how to delete a screenshot, while with the previous one on LOS 17.1, was really intuitive, but the improvements with LOS 18 are really obvious and such welcomed, so again, thank you a lot mate .
Still, I have to insist, what a nice job, in general, apart from these mentioned bugs, the ROM is smooth, stable and performs really great, thank you very much .
Bests ^^.
Nice! Can't wait to test it out! What does 'WFD' mean by 'Not Working' by the way?
Thank you for great contribution to community.
Which GAPPS should we use?
