Has any been able to use the ds4 over bluetooth without lag? I tried using bluetooth autoconnect but it wouldn't work. The controller seems to work with otg and that brings me to my second point. Im looking for an app to remap the android control buttons without root because I'm on oreo with the SM-G955U.

I have an TF101 running 4.0.3 stock rom, rooted with ViperMOD.
I have a bluetooth speaker, HMDX Audio HX-P230.
It won't pair with my device.
My tablet will see the speaker, but when I try to pair them it gives me an error: cannot communicate with [bluetooth ID].
Now, I know the bluetooth in my tablet works because I use a PS3 control via bluetooth.
I tried resetting my tablet, and disabling and reenabling the bluetooth.
I made ABSOLUTELY sure Sixaxis Controller was not running or started or active in any way.
I know the speakers work because they will pair with my phone.
So why won't they work together?!?!?!?

I'm going to assume that you have tried the pass code of 0000 when pairing the 2 devices. While they are SUPPOSED to work with "all tablets," the majority of the time the manufacturers think ONLY of a tablet as an iPad, instead of the many Android variants out there. Some tablets in the settings you HAVE to enable audio over bluetooth, while others do it automatically.
Also I've found often times when trying to pair devices the one that you want to pair with i/e your speaker, turn it off wait 15 seconds, turn it back on and make sure that the lights are flashing showing it is searching for a host. Then under the tablet settings have the tablet search for the device, and try to pair with it. It will either do 1 of 3 things. Auto pair without prompting for the pass code, or it will put the pairing on hold until you input the pass code, in this case 0000, or it will fail.
You might have to go into your phone and "forget" the pairing connection with the speaker for it to be able to be found and used by another device.
Has anyone been able to get a DS4 control to pair to the N5 at all over BT? I dont mean getting it functional in games i just mean getting it to pair period. I have my DS3 working w/ the sixaxis app but my DS3 wont connect to my surface via BT so I decided to try my DS4 which works great. I tried to pair to my N5 and it shows as an available device but just hangs on "Pairing" and never goes anywhere.
Hey,
i hope someone can help me with this Problem.
I want to play some games on my S6 using my Dualshock 4 controller. But there are some issue.
When i pair my controller usingthe built in Bluetooth, then the controller works just fine for like 15s, then all inputs become really delayed (delay ~2s), assumed an input is even recognized. If i toggle the Bluetooth off and on, pair the controller again, then same thing: 15s ok, then horrible lag.
It seems like, that the Bluetooth goes into some power saving mode, but i dont know it.
I tried some of the recommended apps (sixaxis, bluez IME,...) but they just dont work with this New device or are just outdated for the DS4.

Hello so I am new to these forums but I couldn't seem to find any helpful information already available. I am connecting my DS4 controller to my Huawei Mate 9 and I am not getting any input from the controller. It pairs fine and everything and under the Bluetooth settings I have it marked for input device but no input is getting through. I am testing it of course on gamepad supported games. Has anyone else had this problem as I know Android 7 is supposed to support gamepads without any additional measures. Thank you very much.
Sixaxis controller app from play store
I never had an issue with pairing with my DS4, all I did was paired it put on asphalt and it worked
any fix!
same on honor play any fix without root
Anyone know how to get remote play working with an actual controller? DS4 natively or even touchscreen mapping?
I've gotten the remote play app to work with touchscreen controls, and I can pair my DS4 with the OP6, but the remote play app doesn't see it. I've also got a Moga pro, which I'd be happy to use as an alternative mapped to the touchscreen, but I don't seem to have luck there either.
Sixaxis app does not recognize Bluetooth paired DS4 or USB connected DS4.
Tincore key mapper does not recognize DS4 or Moga.
Remote play app does not recognize DS4, but maybe it won't without being Xperia phone.
I'm wondering if systemless root is not enough for touchscreen mapping.
Anyone have a combination that works on OP6?
Ggh

I'm in the same boat, but I use the app on my Nvidia Shield Tv.
Was just wondering: Did you manage to use any controller with the ps4 remote play app?
The best I could archive was to map button presses from a controller to touchscreen taps on the onscreen button overlay using apps Tasker and AutoInput.
Unfortunately the onscreen overlay disappears after short time when no input is sent and after that sending a tap/touch input doesn't work as it does not bring up the overlay anymore.
Apart from that, the overlay is annoying so I'd rather get rid of it completely...(I guess if we could connect a ds4 controller properly to the app the onscreen layout would disappear by default).
If there's no way around the overlay maybe there's a way to change the opacity of the layout to make it disappear.
