Sprint Note 5 on Verizon? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note5

Hello, first off I wanna apologize if this has already been covered. I have read through the forum some but couldn't find the answers I was looking for. My issue is, I'm in the process of shopping for a device in which I can root and bootloader unlock. I have a budget of around 250 bucks. I also got to have root and such. My carrier is Verizon. I have read that a unlocked sprint note 5 would work on Verizon, if anyone can confirm this I'd be happy. Also do t-mobile roms work on unlocked sprint note 5. My options for a new device are the nexus 6, nexus 6p, galaxy note 4 and 5. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

[Q] Looking For Suggestions On Sprint Phablets

Hello,
I plan to switch from T-Mobile to Sprint after being with T-Mobile for almost 10 years. The 2 main reasons I'm looking to switch from T-Mobile to Sprint, is that Sprint is the only other provider that offer native WiFi calling (not Skype, etc) and also have a much better 4G network.
That being said, I have been using Samsung phones for the past few years and love them (although I really haven't used anything else besides these 2 models and a Blackberry) - first was the Galaxy SII and now the Note 3. I see that Sprint offer the Note 3 and Note 4 as well as the Note Edge, the Nexus 6, LG G Flex, and other Phablet phones.
My question is this (I know this question has been asked a million times before), of the Phablet phones offered by Sprint, are there any better or recommended models for someone like myself who would like to 'root' them, or even install a custom ROM? (on my Note 3, I only rooted it, but was looking at installing a custom ROM to mainly get rid of all the bloatware). I see that some forums recommend 'not' going with Samsung because of Knox concerns when rooting.
Thanks in advance!

Which Note 3 is good for travelling overseas?

I'm planning on going to either Japan or Korea and was wondering which Note 3 will work best. The Verizon Note 3 (Is it true that all of them are factory unlock? I read that it isn't) or the ATT unlocked phone?
Didn't realize there was a specific phone forum.. Disregard this while I post in the other section..

Is this phone for me?

Hello, so as an AOSP lover and on verizon, this phone could be a good option about me. When I bought my S3 years back, I only used AOSP roms. Eventually, I got a note 4 in hopes of it getting root. Well... Obviously didn't go well, so I'm rolling on my S3 again. Would it be worth it to sell my Note 4 and buy this phone? It has better specs than an S3. So a few questions...
How does the development compare? I see we have some CM13 builds w/ probably some official builds soon. Does it have exceptional development?
What is the process of rooting like? From my understanding, you unlock the bootloader similar to a nexus device and then flash SU in TWRP, yes? So it won't matter what android version it's running @ the time?
How exactly do unlocked phones work? I've only used two year contracts in the past, I don't understand the whole concept of unlocked phones, to be honest.
Will the bootloader be able to be unlocked if I use verizon? I planned to buy the phone straight from moto so it is unlocked, but my friend's OG Moto G isn't able to be unlocked even though he bought it from Amazon (He is on verizon).
Thanks, XDA.

Need a volunteer with basic adb knowledge

Hello everyone,
I have purchased a Note 5 Sprint (N920P) which is an identical phone to the Verizon Note 5 in terms of hardware, except for few different LTE bands. I am willing to explore the possibility of ROM development for both the devices. I have already started work on N920P and I need a volunteer who owns Note 5 verizon to help me provide more information about the device.
I will not provide any binaries to flash and test since verizon phones are bootloader locked. I just need to extract some information from the Verizon Note 5 and see how similar it is to the Note 5 Sprint. Maybe we can borrow some exploits from sprint version to unlock the verizon version. Interested members can PM me.
Thanks
I can volunteer for this. Not sure if it matters, but my VZW Note 5 is activated on TotalWireless.

Has many people PMed you? There was another threat with a small team of guys trying to root the Verizon Note 5 a few days back. They were not successful, but it may be beneficial for you to communicate with them to see what they have already tried. I hope you can get something going. I'd like to purchase the phone if root is achieved.

Root Sprint Pixel?

Hi guys.
A couple quick questions as all my smartphone experience is with Sprint Galaxy S series devices.
Can the Sprint Pixels be rooted? I'm thinking not because the same snapdragon platform, but I don't know.
I just got a galaxy S10 today, but I can take it back for one of the Google phones from Sprint.
Could somebody tell me why that's a good or bad idea? My main thing is getting root privileges back. MAN do I miss that from the S6 I had.
However, if the Pixels Sprint has are significantly less capable I probably wouldn't do it.
Any help sure would be great.
Thanks
The Verizon Pixels are bootloader locked so I would imagine the same of the Sprint ones.
