Does anybody have experience with this case?
Original information: Shockproof, dirtproof, weatherproof, waterproof rugged protection case.

I have a plan to go to Tunisia and the Cape Verde Islands with my wife this year. I really need this type of case for underwater filming, rough handling and so on Like I asked you does anybody have experience with this case? Original price is $96.00 but you can buy it on ebay as well for cheaper price. Thank you so much
If anybody doesn't have any experience with this case, please offer to me something similar to it. Thank you
The Love Mei Powerful does NOT claim to be waterproof case. Do NOT use it for underwater filming. Instead, use a case like the Lifeproof Fre or Nuud, OtterBox Preserver, or the Seido Obex.
i have this case. it is also sold as the pepk case.
DONT BUY IT.
it is not water proof. it is... splash resistant. the screen protector is loosly glued at 2 edges not all the way around, there is a glass piece over the camera lens but not the flash lens, there is a crappy mesh over the speakers and mics, not water resistant. A single drop of water passed right through. You need a screw driver to open/seal the case, a torx 3 or 5. you also need special shaped headphone/aux calbes to fit the headphone jack hole. it breaks proximity sensor fucntion while in a call (cant use phone, or enter numbers, screen wont turn on). it makes all voice recognition uselss.
Ill send you mine for free.

I'd be willing to take up that offer.
Additionally, I would highly recommend against buying any waterproof case for cheap on ebay. Waterproofing is no joke, if it fails, your phone is likely toast.

If it's cheaper than 10-20% on ebay.. you are 100% guaranteed that it is a cheap crap knockoff. I wouldn't spend $100 on a case for the phone. Certainly a decent Spigen or something to protect it.. but if I need waterproof for short periods of time, I use a box of 50 ziplock bags I got for $4.
i would be so bold to describe it as snow resistant.
I have the Seidio Obex case and i love it. Only downside is the proximity sensor reports as always blocked (screen won't come back on when pulled away from ear) but being a nerd i was able to write a program that wakes it when it detects the gyroscope is changed to the way you look at it.
Also, the capacitive buttons don't work quite right all the time. I just thought of an idea to fix that though. Buy super cheap stylus off the web then take off tip and glue it to the underside of the screen protector, then when i press on the screen protector it will push down the touch material to the device.
But from what i quickly read on the comments of that youtube video, that case is garbage. Also, with my Seidio, i spilled ice tea on it (and i hate things being dirty and sticky) so i litteraly put it under running soapy water to clean it and nothing is wrong with it. Wouldn't recommend that with the case in the youtube tho
So as I read all the comments you don't recommend Love MEI case. Thank you very much for all information.
Would you please recommend me another option of waterproof case? Please share some link, videos, experience and so on.
Thank you

I have the lovemei case and love it compares to the otterbox the screen is so much clearer yeah there's no hole for the spen on the note3 version but I can live without that
Got a white Z3 and absolutely love it. Build quality is miles better than my old Z. Was curious if anyone else had concerns about the nylon corners and really tight fitting gel cases. My case requires tons of force to take off and put on. Bit worried about the corner bumpers not holding up and perhaps other frame damage. Thoughts or experiences welcomed.

Why are you taking the case off so many times? Can't you keep it in there and charge via the magnetic port (to avoid wear on the usb flaps/socket)?

Good question. I guess im not. I had to take the case off to put my new sdcard in and was thinking "i hope these plastic corners are glued on well". Feels as though this will be a weak point in the design
I currently own the S5 G900F with the Official S-View Cover, due to the case becoming unpleasantly dirty (White to black) and the realization that the phone might not last me very long with this level of protection, Im in the search for a new case.
I need this case to be a bull coverage case, which means that it will have to have a inbuilt screen protector, for I can not apply one to save my life. It must also be as compact as possible, while offering great levels of protection, as I have small hands.
Cases I have been looking at are the Otterbox Defender Series (S5), and the i-Blason ArmourBox
OtterBox - My concerns about this case, is the 'Echo' that certain members of the community suffer, although someone has 'found a cure' for this, which is to find and peel away hidden stickers inside the case, I am not sure, as I have only heard of it once. This is a very popular case and seams to offer the most protection. It also adds quite some size to the phone, which may become annoying.
i-Blason - This is not a very popular case, but seams to be thinner and smaller than the OtterBox. It is cheaper, but price does not really matter as both cases are competitively price in the UK. It seams to offer good protection.
One of my biggest worries with both cases is the functionality of the FingerPrint Unlock, this is something I use and take pride of on my mobile, and would hate to have to use it, would these cases allow for the use?
Secondly, the inbuilt screen protectors, is there any 'give' as in, does it feel like you are not touching the screen?
Any opinions and suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Here's what I use and recommend: Galaxy S5 Case, S5 Case, New Trent Trentius [Heavy Duty] It feels good in the hand, has it's own screen protector and 3 colored backplates. I also use a tempered glass protector under it. They are not like film screen protectors, very easy to put on with no mistakes.
Thanks for the reply, that is very interesting, just a few questions...
Does it suffer from the 'echo' like other cases?
Is the screen protector 'tight to the glass'
Sound volume? Is it reduced?
Also I have tried tempered glass ones too, still cant apply straight

No echo that I've ever noticed. To be fair though, I'm on a custom rom that allows me to increase the stock volume level. The extra screen protector just gives it a nice tight feel. No problems at all with touchscreen.

The Trent case is an awesome case especially since you can switch it up with the different back pieces but if you want a waterproof case then Lifeproof all day.
I've opted for the Lifeproof case with the screen protector; no real problems on this end. The case also works well with the Qi wireless charging kit.
I use the UAG Cover. Works really good for me. Dropped it round about 5-6Times....no damage
I have the screen protective film on my S5 (from the dealer) but when it gets scratched up, I won't replace it. I recommend the Spigen tough Armor case. Great protection and what I like the best is that the buttons don't stick out beyond the cover. I have had problems accidentally pressing the buttons while the phone was in my pocket. I always carry the phone in my pocket and the Spigen eliminates that problem. The relatively slick back cover makes it easy to get out of my pocket. The four corners on the back side are slightly raised to protect the camera lens and prevent scratches on the cover if the phone is dropped.
AND, no, I have no relationship with Spigen. Just credit given where credit is due.
Edit - the slightly raised corners are on the back side.

Best case ever!! Hands down!!! :good:
before i bought my zerolemon 8500, i used an otterbox defender.
Looks like a good protective case but it is big and ugly. Sorry. I'll keep my Spigen Tough Armor case.
Hi Guys,
Just want to post a review regarding a Full Protective Casing for our beloved Note 4. I got this casing through some seller. Not phone shops. Since I'm from Singapore, these kind of rugged and full protective cases are not available unless by ordering them through official website or Amazon.
Was surprised that there was a seller who's selling this here. Since it's a case that I've been aiming for, I decided to grab it rightaway.
The case itself is divided into 2 parts. The rubber and the hard plastic holding the screen protector. Putting it all together was quite snappy. I can say it's not too bulky or too small. Just nice.
Opening it up, it's nicely pack into a compact box. Also there'a a plastic covering the front and inside of the screen protector. No defects. I don't use the holster since it will be troublesome for me. Moving on.
Here is the link to the official site:
http://www.supcase.com/samsung-galaxy-note-4-unicorn-beetle-pro-protective-case.html
Here comes the review!!
The Pro's:
All ports covered. Including the S-Pen.
Only protector for screen. None on LED, Sensor, Front Speaker, Front Camera and Back Camera.
It's quite light if without holster.
Smooth and easy if kept in pocket. Not gonna be stuck like some cases if u try to keep and remove in n out from your pocket.
Volume, Power Button casing design is align well.
The Con's:
Fingerprint Scanning will be abit difficult as the case actually interfere with the button.
The port covers will be out of shape if continuously opened up.
Due to the smoothness of the case, it might just slip from your hands.
That are the ones that I noticed for now.
I attached 2 pics, front and back. Sorry for the lack of details and pics as I'm currently at work. LOL! Hope my review help for those who are looking to buy this case.

I have a skinomi carbon fiber skin along the sides of my N4 and this case tore apart the skin on the side that I used to snap into the top piece of this case; as such, I believe it would be safe to assume that this case could scratch your phones metal edges. This case (for myself at least) was an extremely tight fit. As I have said in my supcase thread, this case is a really tight fit - if not too small.
I cannot say if the case will work with wireless charging, but I can assure you that your otterbox is much, much better than this supcase.
Super-thanks @JippleStar
I had installed Skinomi's Techskin last night on my Note 4 and the Otterbox Defender Series case did not accept my phone; was too resistant, and so I thought that I should stick with the Commuter for now without the Wireless Back Cover. I'll keep the Defender for back up and / or when I'm outdoors.

NP :good: I was very disappointed with this case and would never want anyone to go through that whole buy and return process, ya know? :silly:
I've never had so much trouble finding a case - or any other accessory though. I guess that's one of the downsides of having an extra large phone  & yeah, I would definitely keep the defender for days when you need that water-proof protection :good:
Microscratches on the Note 4's metal chamfered edges are unavoidable, even when applying the Otterbox cases, sad, but true. However, the way these phones were packaged, every Note 4 sold as new in its sealed box, has one or two scratches somewhere; I know this especially after unboxing close to a dozen Note 4's. First gapgate, then this. Lol.
Have to find a case once and for all, other-wise, we are only making our devices more susceptible.
Any solution for metal chamfered edges? I e-mailed Skinomi regarding this, and this was their response
"Hello,
Thank you for your email, and for your feedback. Unfortunately the item has been designed off the actual device here at the facility for the best results. However I will be more than glad to send your feedback to our design team.
Have a great day!

I second that. Lol! I'm just too tired to think about the metal edges of this beast. It's bound to be scratch sooner or later. Do not care about it that much. Care about the other surroundings instead.

Well it happens to every rugged case. Especially if u have keys or coins in ur bag or pocket that u put your phone with. Same goes if u do not have a casing or cover for your phone. There will be scratches too.

I too have the same Unicorn Beetle case- cheap alternative for Overpriced Defender ( otterbox )..but fingerprint scanning is difficult due to front of case jutting out, so your finger doesnt get a flat
area to run across. Holster is decent- but somewhat stiff. but for 20.00... 1/3 the price, I'm happy. Phone is protected.. until a better option comes around...with a holster.

I learnt a trick. U redo ur fingerprint scanning with the case on. U can do in any position and ways as long u do slow and steady. U'll find that it works better with the casing on rather than naked. For my N4, i just have to scan the top of my thumb and otz unlocked. Give a try. Just scan follow the flow of the casing design. From top till the casing.
Hi guys,
Usually, I don't like covering the phone with cases which hides the beauty of the phone and also cases seems bulky(not compact). But in the case of op6, since it is an all glass body, I am forced to buy some protection to the phone. Since this is the first time I am planning for protection, I am not aware completely to go for which type. Can you help me in this? Thanks in advance.
Should I go for skin(At least to avoid scratches)?
or full protection(as below suggested)? Again this also avoids only scratches but not the breaks. But I wanna try this because I also don't like bulky cases.
or Shall I go with Skin for backside and tempered glass protector on the front side?
or Is there any type of thinnest case for the phone? I am very much happy if one exists because it protects from the incidents like breakage or any sort of physical damage to the phone.
And in my search, I found one type of screen body protection from Gadgetshieldz.com which is compact and says protection. Have anyone bought this? How good it is? Link - https://www.gadgetshieldz.com/oneplus-6-screen-protectors-covers-cases.html
Another worry is even if this is good and I bought this, I am thinking I cant apply it cleanly. as I did not anytime before.

Does the silicone case that was provided with the phone go well with the official tempered screen protector that has to be purchased separately? I bought one, but haven't applied it yet, because I like the silicone case and was wondering if they fit on the phone at the same time. I wouldn't like to have the silicone case rub on the tempered glass and lifting it up prematurely.

Arriving later today, I'll let you know
Got the matte black skin from dbrand - just a basic one to cover the back of the phone. Hate cases as they add immense bulk, even slim cases. Easy peasy to apply the skin on the back, but I guess it has to be as you only get one skin now. When I applied dbrand skins to previous phones, they always shipped two skins if you mess up the 1st time. Guess dbrand are going on the cheap now...

Case has arrived, I love it, very slim and classy looking whilst offering some protection, fits very precisely, easy to hold and grip. Returned my screen protector, just can't get the bubbles out!

This will be the first phone I've ever had to cover up with a sleeping bag, I mean case.. but you have to because of the glass back. I've just ordered the the following

Seems to be the most minimal ive found, still with some protection over a wrap. (I just cant do only a wrap with an all glass design) Only "flaw" with that case from reading the comments is that the case doesn't have any lip above the screen. Some would say that not a flaw .. I like minimal but with a little protruding on the face to help protect the screen edges. To each their own though.
