G920F : SWREV: B5 K2 S2 , downgrade bootloader, how? Imei repair - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
I have this s6 model: g920f nougat, and after an Odin error I left with 35000..6 imei.So I want to downgrade to 5.0.1 and then rewrite the imei.
How can I downgrade the bootloader because every time when I'm trying to flash the 5.0.1 I'm getting swrev check fail error .
This phone is from Orange.
Thank you !

I just want to tell that this is impossible even some devs gave up ending with hard brick including me i tried to split sboot.bin into 4 parts and replaced some of them with lollipop bootloaders.

you cannot downgrade and repair imei yourself, update it to lastest firmware available and have a look with imeigurus, they can fix your 35xxxxxx6 imei problem for around 20 bucks and less than an hour.

Had a similar issue yesterday when I tried to update my rooted 5.0.2 to an official 5.1.1. I have used ODIN many times before since SGS3, and back then you were able to mix your system image from other regions, but that apparantly has been locked down by Samsung. Now you can only update an official version of the rom if it exactly matches your existing region. Because you updated your SK international S6 and tried a region set rom from Czech it most likely failed towards the very end of flash with "FAIL".
Your options are: 1) you download the 5.1.1 version for your region in ODIN format from SAMMobile or 2) you use Smart Switch and let it do it for you - in this case you will need to know the SN of your phone as it is used for verification.
Samsung has locked down the serial number with the regions that come with it. So if you have to install, you should update it or use same region odin file. There is a way to break this chain if you are rooted and some additional files are being used in the odin but I am not completely sure as I have not tried it yet. But there are chances that you may void your warranty if you try that or the worse hard brick as it can sometimes change your serial number if not used properly. but I wouldn recommend that. I'll let you know once I understand the usage correctly.

SM-G930V purchased in Australia

Hi All,
I have a moderate experience in flashing firmwares and modding my samsung devices over the years.
I have recently purchased an S7 which is unfortunately a SM-G930V model, i thought it would have been the SM0G930F which would have made life much easier.
I want to know if it is possible to get the original Australian firmware or even generic stock firmware on this device?
My issue is with the network settings where i have manually put in APN settings my match my carrier and 4G coverage in australia.
If not am i able to just flash a different baseband to this device preferably Australian?
I have read that flashing a different model firmware will soft brick the device, i just want some insight before i start breaking things, also what are my options.
Much appreciated, thanks, Will
You have the snapdragon s7, you can't flash the exynos 930f firmware on it, you can only flash the american firmware. You might have luck with the 930u unbranded firmware just do some research on it.
Thanks mate,
I'm going to flash this firmware using ODIN, do you know if it will be successful?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/att-galaxy-s7/how-to/xda-community-love-g930u-t3415875
not sure how to check my bootloader version etc
No clue, goto the verizon subforum and see if anyone flashed the 930u firmware on their 930v.
Just tried to flash the firmware to my phone and recieved an error, the phone is now stuck at download mode with error:
sw rev check fail : [system] fused 3 > binary 4
this means the bootloader won't accept the firmware?
LOL, guess ill try another firmware.. Any ideas?

Can't unroot Snapdragon AT&T S8+

I rooted my phone (SM-G955U) a while ago using the PartCyborg method found a while ago, but it's not too useful to me and I'd like to unroot it. However I am plasered with model mismatches and auth errors in odin no matter what firmware I try to flash onto it, and I cannot find any firmware that matches my baseband version G955USQU3CRC7
Am I not doing this right? Thanks in advance for any help.

Verizon is a USA network, look on Sammobile for the latest firmware for your phone, or flash with a BTU international firmware.

Finding the correct firmware to fix soft-bricked phone.

Hello,
I'm trying to fix my soft bricked phone with this error (no quotes):
"dm-verity verifiation failed..."
I've already soft and factory reset the phone to no avail, as it still will not boot past the Samsung logo. Googling the problem has told me that flashing the original firmware with Odin should fix it, but after hours of searching I still cannot determine what firmware I need to download and use. Reading some of the threads here supposedly i can use firmware that shares my carrier and country but I cannot find the correct combination on any site.
Country: US
Phone: S7 (G930F) - On the recovery mode screen the full designation is G930FXXU1BPH6
Carrier: T-Mobile
Version 6.0.1
Does anyone know exactly where I can find useable firmware for the phone? Everything I see online (like sammobile for example) just has the firmwares for other countries.
Before the bootlock my phone was rooted if it matters.

The G930F is a primarily European device, so a different region than the US.
The firmware version you have provided is an old version of Marshmallow on T Mobile Poland. The fact that it's Poland doesn't really matter it's still EU region.
Now heres the important part....T Mobile in Europe do not use all of the same bands as T Mobile US so although you can flash any firmware for Europe your phone will not work 100% in the US
So first of all flash with either a nougat firmware for United Kingdom T Mobile or Untied Kingdom nougat undranded (BTU). From Sammobile.
I don't advise going straight to Oreo because there may be a fix for older nougat firmware from EU region to work perfectly in US. Once you upgrade firmware you cannot downgrade.
Once your phone is up and running you just need to look on the forum of how to get a G930F device working perfect on US networks.
