It supports it by default, maybe you just connected to the wrong network?

Runs flawlessly here, but slightly slower, about 5 %. But it could be because of many more devices here operating at 2,4G. Router is an TP-Link.

Does Nexus 5 support Bluetooth High speed (HS) and reach 24 Mbps or it only maxes out @ 3Mbps?
Also does it support EDR?
I don't care about "low energy", as "LE" doesn't guarantee a device has HS.
Can someone screenshot detailed info about nexus 5's bluetooth capabilities, because I am still waiting for mine to ship.
Thank you in advance.

I would say yes due to the fact that it has Bluetooth 4.0, which supports all of those features.

Also, you are supposed to wait 24 hours before bumping your own thread. Just fyi.

No worries, welcome to the board. Hopefully you will get your phone soon. I really like mine.
Actually I have the same doubt about high speed bluetooth on N5, or any smartphone advertised as Bluetooth 4.0. According to wikipedia, 4.0 should imply high speed by default, but after doing a lot of searching, I did not find any really successful cases. Here is the negative anwsers I got:

Bluetooth 4.0 Tethering Speed on iOS
http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1647141
Could anyone help to do a speed test and post the result?
I tested transfer speed between nexus 5 and LG optimus g e970, and it maxed @ 156 kilobytes/sec.
Google hasn't released the API's necessary for the HS functionality.

It's definitely fake. There is 5 more of them on this channel.
Agreed, that does look suspicious.

+1 extremely fake. The end of the video is most likely a remote desktop connection. Windows will never run on this device due to mainly the ARM CPU. Windows RC is windows specifically for ARM devices, but this isnt released for end users.
Misguiding others just to increase the number of views. Just pathetic. To think that I believed that video, even for a minute.
Hello guys,
Inam having a simple question. My oneplus 6 mostly chooses the 2.4 GHz WiFi instead of the 5 GHz, while my old oneplus 3 always chose the 5 GHz.
Now I want to force it to use 5 GHz in that specific ssid. Is that possible somehow? I know I could just give different names for the wifi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) but I want to avoid that.
Is there an app that can do that maybe?
Thanks in advance!
I tried to find such an app or a workaround a couple of months ago on my Nexus 5X back then, but I believe it isn't possible anymore in Oreo... If you do find a way, please share it here
Maybe Tasker could do this? (If you have it/are willing to buy it).
I just have both separated with different SSIDs on my router. That way, I can simply choose the one I have added "5GHz" at the end of the name.

depends on the networking capability of the tablet.
Here the pc is more capable (naturally) than a tablet.

Yes i use speedtest to all same.
Lenovo Smart Tab M10 Gen 2 128GB
The speed you got is your maxmium speed.
You shouldnt expect tp get same speeds of a computer even if you have connected via ethernet.
I get 200mbps on my pc which is my speed plan
But i get half via 5ghz wifi on my iphone.
Hello guys I have read the specifications in various pages saying this devices does not comes with Wifi 6 built in, but the cpu supports this technology. What is the truth? Thanks in advance.

xiaomi can choose what to incloude in the cpu they buy, like snapdragon 860 support 5g but xiaomi didn't choose to include it in our phone. Wifi 6 is same.
Does this mean, the hardware of 5G is present but software blocked or the hardware CPU of Poco X3 Pro differs from other phones with the same CPU?

It means one device with snaodragon 860 may have it, other not and it is hardware related. What is on qualcomm specifications means what it may have. But what xiaomi want to have may be different. They didnt choose to put wifi 6 and 5g midem, qualcomm produced for them processor with out it. And bo software changes can help
