ERROR 114 while updating rom

Allright, i'm starting to get crazy.
Finaly I got the upgrading process started by using the MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe file.
But every time around 30% by stage 1 Rom update I get ERROR 114.
I tried different ROM versions, but nothing works.
So now the only thing I can do is get in the bootloader, and try again and again, but every time, ERROR..
plz anyone?

i got the same problem, tried to update my radio version and it crashed

And now what? Problem solved?

nexus s not updating after unrooting!

so i needed to unroot my nexus because of warranty reasons, and i updated successfully to 2.3.2 but when i try to apply the 2.3.3 update my phone will not open it and install it. has this happened to someone else before? on the recovery it says
E: Error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip
(status 7)
installation aborted
I don't know if the radio in the phone is messed up or if i just forgot about something. i tried doing system check in's but those aren't working. i'm really pissed about this, and frustrated. Please help if you know a solution or heard of this happening before.

Zipping and Signing on mac

Hey guys after searching and failing multiple times i have to ask...
i made a sensless version of the ics sense 3.5 that dropped yesterday and would like to release it however i cant get it to flash in recovery. first i tried just zipping it that failed. then i tried signing it and it still failed... any ideas to help out guyzz?

it just says finding update then update failed any ideas??

[Q] Cannot OTA update Jellybean ( Electrify 2 )

Hello guys,
I have been getting a message frequently to OTA update the phone to jellybean. Once I click on software update it starts downloading and once it gets completed, the phone restarts , certain progress is shown, after a while it restarts and shows that the update failed.
Using the phone Motorola Electrify 2 on ICS rooted.
Kindly help.

Its failing as the phone‘s rooted. IMO unrooting should fix it

tried it..not working. both with root access and non root.
also tried it via recovery while booting .. then the error that comes in is
Assert failed: apply_patch_check("/system/app/amzonappstore.apk")
E:error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip(status 7)

[Q] Galaxy N7000 ROM

I have wanted to put the PAC rom on my phone so I downloaded the PAC_i605 nightly 20140409.zip when I try to install from sd card I get error 7 coming up and its aborted. My phone is rooted and also has PhilZ-cmw6-xxlt9-ORA5.11 on it.
I am currently running the Revolt-JB4.4 on it with no problems.
I really wanted to try the PAC rom but am a noobie and really don't know whats up. I am not sure I want to start editing updater scripts if that is the fault. Any help much appreciated.

Dont know where to go now.

Did you try using another recovery?
